I thought the romance scene was great. It showed a lot of emotion and trust between Shepard and Tali(not to say other romances didn't). Although I wish the conversations with Tali were a bit longer at least but that's just wishful thinking.

Well, it didn't need to be like the other two. The cornerstone around the whole Tali romance is that it's more about dialogue and personality than anything else. With the others I've seen the conversation seems more wooden, more geared towards physical attraction than an actual bond.

Well I mean, it just faded to black. And then after the dream they had that talk, I thought there was going to be something especially when shepard start to touch the sides of Tali's head like if there was going to be another kiss. Instead he just says "thanks" and walks away. =/

True, but the impression (that I got, at least) is that even though it was supposed to be a touching moment between the two, that was a bit ruined by the fact that Shep has a lot on his mind at that point. Things more important than the romp in the sack he just had.

I would totally command the Normandy to the cerberus base in less attire than that. I could tell you some true-to-life stories, but I'll refrain for the sake of decency.

Also back to the romance scene. I was actually kind of hoping Tali starts questioning what Shepard was dreaming. I am currently envisioning that my shepard gets full blown PTSD after stopping the reaper invasion, and Tali is doing what she can to take care of him. It's depressing, but at least you get closure.

My problem isn't taking them seriously, it's looking back at the original product and wishing for more.

Edit(...I do a lot of edits, jeez): Not to say the fanfics themselves are bad. I actually really enjoy them and kudos to the authors, seriously. I salute you.

Tali is my Shepard's rock. She finds strength in him and he finds strength in her.

I liked that dynamic.

And yes I might try to peruse these fanfics, I do admire the passion that drives the authors.
