Speaking of which, a lot of people are talking about what Tali`s face would look like. I would be happy if they modeled her after Liz/Ash Sroka. Obviously make it more Alien looking though.

I bring that up because Tali's Suit is vital; she needs it to survive. Engineers have shotguns and neat weapons at times, yes. With Tali's situation it just seemed off that her weapon requires close range.

I figure it's an artifact of the migrant fleet.  Any boarding action onto a Quarian ship by enemies would involve close quarters fighting inside a ship's corridors.  This is an environment where a shotgun would be a devastating weapon of choice.

I believe there is one floating around somewhere (I thought it was on one of the pages of this thread?). It is the one wth Shepard (middle), Garrus (left) and Tali (right). It seems to be a 'screen shot' taken from the recent E3 demo. However, Tali looks the same as in ME2, so (the consensus is) that her model is just a 'placeholder' until BW have completed her new look. It is probably the reason that other pictures of her don't exist yet (she is still 'work in progress'). I am sure they will be releasing something before long!

You know, I think it's awesome that, out of all the characters in Mass Effect, one of the most popular is a girl that doesn't have a face to convey emotion.  Go Tali.

Bioware hit the ball out of the park with Tali's characterization.  She has no visible face, but if you compare her to everyone else, she's the most active mover.  Her arms, hands, and entire stance does what our faces do, and people are actually far more aware of body language than facial expression.

Even though we can't see her face, Tali wears her emotions on her sleeves.

I believe its Russian.

The accent is some sort of pseudo-Slavic. Its not really any one specifically, but definitely not Russian.

A friend of mine from the region called it Romanian, or possibly Ukrainian -the added metallic flange clouds the accent a lot-

A good catchall would simply call it a "Balkan" accent.  People from the region would be able to differenciate between them, but us silly english speaking yankees can't tell the difference.  Don't worry, they forgive us.
