Here's something pretty cool, someone it seems recreated the official Tali face in the CC, looks pretty good.

And here's a little something slightly NSFW.

Just out of curiosity, how many times does Tali actually mention that she loves Shepard compared to the other LIs?

Sadly, the word "love" is used rather reservedly in the Tali romance.

This line needs to be found. Now.

Here you go:

Are you sleeping with him, Tali? Did someone get her induction filter popped on Pilgrimage? Or are you just stupid?

PffffffffWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Why? WHY did they not put this in the game?!

Because they removed the whole subplot/sidequest of Xen apparently sabotaging the Citadel Keepers and Shepard/Tali tracking her down, with a choice of killing her or letting her live (with if she survived that, she'd try to retake control of the Geth on the Crucible project)

Why they took this out? My mind is full of billions and billions of ****.jpg

Why does everyone draw Tali Unmasked with the mouth light thing still on?  That's part of the mask that she removes.

I guess. I have noticed that. Vespaz Tali would have been HNNNNNNG without the mouth peice on.

So,

Not sure if anyone else did this, but WAY back in ME1, when I picked up the game with NO prior knowledge of it.

I tried to Romance Tali.

When it didn't work, I was just like, "Huh, guess Bioware didn't include romances... oh well."

:innocent: Yep, same thing here.  I almost died when she made a pass at Shep in ME2 (I protected myself from spoilers)!:D

She doesn't say the L word as much, I think once or twice only?  But she says it in other ways, they both do.  The scene on the Cerebus base, her reaction to Shepard questioning himself because of Project Lazarus is an example of that.   I get the sense that they don't need to say it much to each other.  They say it in other ways and in actions.  It's pretty powerful.  The way she talks about her "boyfriend.  My HUMAN boyfriend" when drunk still makes me laugh.

One thing I do like overall about the game romances is that each is fairly unique from what I have seen.  And each fits the personality of the character in question and seems to shape Shep to some degree too.  Really for 99% of the game the writing is pretty good.

Ash Szroka did an amazing job really of conveying the emotion just through her voice.  She evokes things in both a heartwarming and a heartbreaking way at times.  I read that Tali is one of the most popular characters and really it's the VA that drives it home.

Yet her romance scene felt kinda "Meh-ish" compared to, like, Liaras. Feels like the Bioware team want Liara to be the most interesting LI sometimes.

I think this one is the one I will go with:

Okay, so I brightened this version up a bit and uploaded in a zip file.

There are 3 files in here:

End03_Flashback_Liara.wmv (so you can view it yourself before replacing)
End03_Flashback_Liara.bik (This file would go into "Mass Effect 3BiogameMovies", and replace)
End03_Flashback_Liara_Backup.bik (This is a backup of the original Liara file incase you want to revert)

Should work in theory, but it is 2.15am and I have not tested it ingame. The file is the same time length as Liara's, so it should work **in theory**.

http://www.mediafire...qetd6k7jbynnqd7

Tell me what you think...I'll be back on in 8h or so...I'll take any suggestions or anything then. I wouldn't mind someone testing it :)

Of course, you can change the file name to replace any other character if you want to keep Liara, just check the other End03_Flashback_SoAndSo.bik files.

Sorry for the late reply. I meant to back when you first posted this but I was in a hurry to get somewhere. When do you think this will be up? I'm assuming the reason it's private is because it doesn't work at the moment.

I made it private before people screamed at me "Why is it crashing my game??". Apparently ME3 did not like the replaced bik, so I need to play through the end again to test it myself.

Message me if you get it to work.^_^

Oh I think we can undoubtedly say this is the case. I still think Tali's romance is only just shy of perfection though.

I dunno, I just find the evolution of it--awestruck young Quarian who gets swept up on an epic adventure by a dashing commander and later falls for him and him for her--to be just so real.

They're going to need to try harder than they did, in that case.  It didn't really work.

Except when we see the inside of her mask (ME2's romance scene), there's nothing to indicate that it's nothing more than less than transparent purple glass.

Just because Liara's romance shows more skin doesn't make it better.

Hrmm. Anybody with the iOS Datapad app run into Tali texting snippets? I've seen a few here and there for the various characters, and it seems to add yet another fun little layer to the character interactions. Sadly, I don't have a device that'll run it, otherwise I'd be sharing instead of asking.

Did someone get their induction port popped on their pilgrimage?

*snrrrrk*

Might need to change it up a little after the emergency induction port gag elsewhere but that's a fantastic line

I remember ready in the leaked script Xen insulted tali for being with shepard is that still in the game?

What was the insult?

She accuses Tali of getting her "induction filter popped on her Pilgrimage" or something like that.[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

I was very depressed when that line didn't make it into the game.

This line needs to be found. Now.

I would also very much like to see this.

Can someone PM me the old leak script?  I want to find it.

Same!!!! please

Umm, no?  I watched the ME2 Talimance scene beforehand to make sure, and there is a significant portion of metal right below the lower part of the glass; where the mouth light thingy is.  It comes off with the visor.

^ This times a thousand, I have no idea why some people believe that Shepard/Tali don't love each other as much as any other Shepard/LI combo just because they don't literally say "I love you/I love you too".... do they not understand the symbolism of the entire "I love you/Keelah se'lai" exchange or when Shepard/Tali repeat it back to each other on Earth? :?

Or, for that matter, do those people just fail to see their playful flirting on missions, their embrace after destroying the Reaper, their last night together, Tali's words to Shepard in the Cerberus base.... their heart-wretching goodbye scene on Earth:crying:
