By the way, what was everyones impression of Rannoch ?

When I first read about it, it said it consisted of both vast oceans and deserts.
It looked far more lively than I had imagined, a beautiful place.

I can understand Tali wanting to have a beach house there. :P

I have to admit, its a shame I only see a plain desert in the sunset.  I didn't think there would be much water on the planet.  But I think the most important part about Rannoch was getting Tali there to see her homeworld and freeing it from the control of that one reaper.

It's funny being there...when she sat down with Shepard, looking off into the sunset, all she could imagine seeing were the people that she lost.  The people that died to defend the dream of returning to her homeworld.  I am glad she went with me, I guess my homeworld was just as important as her's to save.  Plus, I needed someone to boost my morale, and make me happy.  Earth might be my homeworld, especially considering my shepard is earthborn, but for Tali, I'll live on her homeworld and do whatever I can to make sure she lives out her mortal days in peace and comfort.  Plus, rannoch is in far better shape and far less crowded than earth.  :D

What I want to know is, "Whatever happened to the Perseus Veil?"  It seems odd that it would just randomly disappear...

A little too arid for my taste, honestly Kahje sounds like my type of world. But I can see how people find beauty is such a planet.

Oh yes.
Now that all Mass Portals are down, earth must be VERY crowded.
Quarians, Humans, Krogans, Salarians, Turians.... everyone is stranded near earth.

It's a bit funny if you think about it.

The Quarians live at the outer rim of the universe.
Now they have retaken their homeworld but everyone aboard the migrant fleet will
probably be dead before they arrive back home at Rannoch.

Maybe, but I would assume most of the population was left behind. So aside from the lack of ships Rannoch should do fine. The real trouble is someone stealing the spot for Tali's house.

I don't think everyone being stranded near earth is too bad. The FTL is pretty fast and can get to plenty of nearby systems that have previously been ignored. They just end up with a mini version of the previous galaxy structure. But a lot of people will never see their homeworld again.

I feel really bad for the Quarians who got stuck at earth.  It's like on 'Bullseye' they've just had Jim Bowne go 'LEt's have a look at what you could have won' which turned out to be a pristine world that comes with it's own robotic helpers.  What did you get?  Stuck at earth with every race who has called you suit rat for the last 300 years :(

Nah, let's assume the Mass Portals are still running.

Then what?

Then we wouldn't have to call the next game "Mars Effect".

Here we go.
I tried to make an unmasked Tali based on the photo that Bioware gave us.
Let me know if you like it or not.

This looks in fact very professional but doesn't give the impression it's actually the same person as on BWs photo. Eyes r not shiny enough, a line between eyes and browes is missing. Furthermor, the forehead looks like shes got big veins below the skin. Looks somehow... like she could use some rest. Hair is too purple. But anyway, best Fanart i've seen up to now.

I guess I went a bit overboard here and there. :P
I'll use your feedback to improve it.

This one has the improvements suggested by Darman.
I should work a bit more on the eyes, but I think he was right.

I am pissed about the stock photo. I wanted to build her a house on Rannoch. Her romance scene was almost exactly the same as Cortez's.
Bioware, I am disappoint.

Man, it's been a while since I've been here. Did a majority of the Tali fans broker peace with the Geth or destroy them? (personally destroyed, never trusted Legion nor the Geth)

Legion is a bro + Tali believed the peace is possible. I took the risk and at the end of the day, everyone was happy.^_^

Ok next question, how did the Tali face reveal go over with you guys?

I like how she looks, don't like that Bioware didn't put any real effort into it.
I mean it wouldn't be that hard to make an actual rendered in-game face, esecially with all the amazing fanart provided.
But at least they put an effort in the romance itself whih was amazing.

I really like that fanart, but I don't see why everybody insists on making her purple. From the in-game image her skin just looked very, very pale. With maybe just a hint of blue.

Tali wears that color all over her suit, I think its a little difficult to disassociate it from her as its come to be "her color". Judging from the in game photo I agree there were some hints of blue in there and maybe a little purple as well.

How would the beam distinguish between VIs and other synthetics?  How exactly would it distinguish between anything synthetic really.  I mean the Catalyst even goes as far as saying "Even you are partly synthetic"(likely referring to all the augmentations that Shepard has), implying that part of him would be destroyed by the option as well...  Shepard isn't even so far sythetic as a basic VI would be, just basic synthetic augmentation.  My interpretation of the Destroy ending is that it basically wipes out all advanced technology.

Also, the quarians probably have safeguards to temporarily backup against a suit failure, but a scenario involving a permanent destruction of suit functionality has to be a death sentence...

Yeah, when the God-child mentioned even Shepard's implants it seemed that he meant all the technology in the galaxy.
But it didn't destroy the technology, only made it nonfunctional, I'm sure Quarians on Rannoch with their tech skills can figure something out. Worse case is the massive fleet above Earth, all ships' systems offline including life support and mass effect fields.

But screw this, I'm with the indoctrination theory.B)

I love the face they chose for her, but I'm disappointed with how they showed or more like "how they didn't show it". There were so many great opportunities for them to reveal her face (Rannoch, dream, flashback, romance night) but they didn't bother to create an in-game model of her.
