I made the right Tali less purple, as EJ107 suggested.
I also added those little marks at the eyes from the original photo. :D

I love the face they chose for her, but I'm disappointed with how they showed or more like "how they didn't show it". There were so many great opportunities for them to reveal her face (Rannoch, dream, flashback, romance night) but they didn't bother to create an in-game model of her.

I totally agree.
It's not just about Tali, it's about revealing the entire Quarian race.
And that is a major thing.

Oh yes.
Now that all Mass Portals are down, earth must be VERY crowded.
Quarians, Humans, Krogans, Salarians, Turians.... everyone is stranded near earth.

It's a bit funny if you think about it.

The Quarians live at the outer rim of the universe.
Now they have retaken their homeworld but everyone aboard the migrant fleet will
probably be dead before they arrive back home at Rannoch.

Actually, considering how long it took the Reapers to get to Sol, I think Palaven, Sur'Kesh, Tuchanka and even Thessia are within 1-2 years of travel in FTL, and I would guess Rannoch to be around... 10 -15 years maybe.
The only problem is fuel and resources.

Do you have a bigger version of the pic on the right?

Funy enough, Quarians would be the first race with both genders revealed then. Krogan and Salarian females didn't look at all that different. Not even sure if I noticed any difference at all (except the funny feet of Krogan females).

Actually, using the galaxy map and knowing our galaxy is about 100,000 to 120,000 light years across, it is more like about 15 to 18 years at FTL.   The trouble is, fuel is required and the Fleets around Earth do no use standard fuel.  They would have military grade engines and require the special anti-proton grade of fuel.  This is problematic as it requires very special manufacturing equipment to make.
Courses could not be straight line flights but would have to adjust to known systems with gas giants as well as having the need to haul processing equipment to create the fuel.  Time would be needed to make it and if break downs occur, more time would be needed for repairs.
Even if the ships used normal fuels, the processing and collection equipment still has to be used, requiring time to setup, gather, process and then load.
My best guess would be around 30 years to complete the crossing from Earth to Rannoch.
Of course, this is just my opinion.

Send the picture to Bioware and show them how much better they could've done it.
I mean, I don't mind the current one of her, it's really nice too. But there's just something about Zorn's that I like more.
Hm...

I agree, some great work done here. Work that should've been done by the creators.

Still..I feel down. What difference did it make that my Shepard gave Tali the hope of a home world in happiness when in the end I destroyed the Universe and left her alone on some random planet?

The whole romance was brilliant, I loved it. The ending of it all to no point of happiness makes me horribly depressed...

Final version looks AWESOME. But unforunatly it reminds me of someone I know, so it's hard to connect this image to Tali. But awesome anyway.

Same holds for me. But romance could cover more scenes. Loved it, anyway.

As much as i actually like how beautiful Bioware's version of Tali is, I had hoped that their version would have been very close to this certain fan design.

http://fc00.devianta...ial-d4szlc0.jpg

For my personal, it really catches the right mix of human and alien design. I kinda digg how her "face tentacles" looks alike the Asari's. Her hair also reminds me of Kerrigan's new hair in SC2: Hert of the Swarm :)
If this only would have been the fianl design. But then it's good enough, that they didn't really show her face in-game, so i can just imagine that she looks like that particular design.

Agreed. As much as I'm attached to Tali...I'd have to redo the series from ME2 onward if this was her look.

The 2D version of that looks a lot better. That one... it looks like a bad mask?

Didn't look at the picture link posted right now. [edit] Just did, don't mind it, then again, personality! I would've kissed Tali if she was looking krogan. Okay, let's go further, let's go Galaxy Quest, I would've kissed her if she was looking hanar. Her personality is what wins me. That quarian look human-like, I just prefer that. Still would never have left her otherwise.

Tali's character won me over purely through character, which differs her from all others. Ashley's character wasn't to my liking, I'm sure there are some who like her style, but it doesn't create anything for me. Liara is definitely my second to third choice in the game, but in the first one she was sadly the only one, since obviously the developers didn't think Tali would be such a smash hit. Which is weird, since she's basically Liara's only competition, and downright takes the cake by being the first one of your old crew you run into in the second game, and standing stalwart, trusting, on your side.

Tali's face has no big importance for the romance to develop, since it's her character, through voice only, without physical attraction or display or emotions through facial expression, that wins me over.

I didn't need a reward, and the picture did just fine. I needed a fitting conclusion that made her living on happily, not in mourning or alone on a strange planet, knowing that all has been lost, her homeworld again forever unreachable for her, and Shepard, love of her life, gone, dissolved in the green ending (which is my paragon).

Emotional attachment is always painful. Especially when somebody else controls the outcome. And especially then when those controllers decide that the outcome should be a gruesome genocide, so you don't forget.

Don't know about you...but sure, the most painful moments of my life I hardly can forget. But the happiest moments...I can never forget, because I love remembering them.

Keelah Se'lai.

Mad

Also a fan of the 2D version. But I find it kinda cute, that the husband of the wife who made the first version (The 2D one) was the one who made the 3D version. :P

It's depressing.... because it is ten times better than the one that made it into the game...

Excellent job.
