I made the right Tali less purple, as EJ107 suggested.
I also added those little marks at the eyes from the original photo.
I love the face they chose for her, but I'm disappointed with how they showed or more like "how they didn't show it". There were so many great opportunities for them to reveal her face (Rannoch, dream, flashback, romance night) but they didn't bother to create an in-game model of her.
Actually, considering how long it took the Reapers to get to Sol, I think Palaven, Sur'Kesh, Tuchanka and even Thessia are within 1-2 years of travel in FTL, and I would guess Rannoch to be around... 10 -15 years maybe.EmperorZorn wrote...
Oh yes.
Now that all Mass Portals are down, earth must be VERY crowded.
Quarians, Humans, Krogans, Salarians, Turians.... everyone is stranded near earth.
It's a bit funny if you think about it.
The Quarians live at the outer rim of the universe.
Now they have retaken their homeworld but everyone aboard the migrant fleet will
probably be dead before they arrive back home at Rannoch.

Funy enough, Quarians would be the first race with both genders revealed then. Krogan and Salarian females didn't look at all that different. Not even sure if I noticed any difference at all (except the funny feet of Krogan females).EmperorZorn wrote...

It's not just about Tali, it's about revealing the entire Quarian race.
And that is a major thing.
Welp, I think the final version on the right is just right.EmperorZorn wrote...

Actually, using the galaxy map and knowing our galaxy is about 100,000 to 120,000 light years across, it is more like about 15 to 18 years at FTL. The trouble is, fuel is required and the Fleets around Earth do no use standard fuel. They would have military grade engines and require the special anti-proton grade of fuel. This is problematic as it requires very special manufacturing equipment to make.Formis_Sage wrote...

The only problem is fuel and resources.

Here we go.
I tried to make an unmasked Tali based on the photo that Bioware gave us.
Let me know if you like it or not.

Still..I feel down. What difference did it make that my Shepard gave Tali the hope of a home world in happiness when in the end I destroyed the Universe and left her alone on some random planet?
The whole romance was brilliant, I loved it. The ending of it all to no point of happiness makes me horribly depressed...

I agree, some great work done here. Work that should've been done by the creators.

As much as i actually like how beautiful Bioware's version of Tali is, I had hoped that their version would have been very close to this certain fan design.

Agreed. As much as I'm attached to Tali...I'd have to redo the series from ME2 onward if this was her look.
The 2D version of that looks a lot better. That one... it looks like a bad mask?Xatharos wrote...

For my personal, it really catches the right mix of human and alien design. I kinda digg how her "face tentacles" looks alike the Asari's. Her hair also reminds me of Kerrigan's new hair in SC2: Hert of the Swarm
If this only would have been the fianl design. But then it's good enough, that they didn't really show her face in-game, so i can just imagine that she looks like that particular design.

Also a fan of the 2D version. But I find it kinda cute, that the husband of the wife who made the first version (The 2D one) was the one who made the 3D version.GSSAGE7 wrote...

It's depressing.... because it is ten times better than the one that made it into the game...
Excellent job.
