As much as i actually like how beautiful Bioware's version of Tali is, I had hoped that their version would have been very close to this certain fan design.

It - is - so - disgusting. Am I glad its not close to this, man. Am I glad.

Agreed. As much as I'm attached to Tali...I'd have to redo the series from ME2 onward if this was her look.

For some stupid reason I Like It.

thats one of my personal favorites.

While I like EmpororZorn's Tali (nice job BTW), I really prefer this one.  The only issue that I have with it is that it is a bit too Asari, but I guess I am just hard to please :).

2D version: calisto-lynn.deviantart.com/art/Tali-without-helmet-210643558

I never really liked that piece very much (although it was better than that other popular Tali picture- the one that looked very young). The one thing we knew about the Quarians appearance was that their ears did not look like human ears, and that picture gives Tali ears that are nearly identical to human's! :P At least Biowares image made what we can see of the ears look odd.

I hope BioWare pulls a "Qunari" on the Quarians.. I don't agree with their vision on how Quarians looks.

But the ending shocked me to the core, in a very bad way. Maybe it's the German thing, but genocide...I really, really am against that.

German thing... not agree

Well, just shows that I'm not the only one that...well, when I was confronted with the three choices, I stood there and said...wait, what? These are my options? Why can't I just do nothing, my fleet might be able to destroy you, or at least...I could react just before we lose or something. But honestly...I was just chosing one because I feared Tali to lie battered and destroyed down at the beam, and I didn't want to go on without her anyway.

I'm totally with you, man. Thought exactly the same. But as I said, Tali didn't lie there in my case. She survived and entered the Normandy on some way (plot hole). And I survived the red end, too. Of course I didn't know that at the decision point. Actually choosed red because it was the only option which didn't show instant death. To get the possibilty that both me and Tali survive. And so they did. But under which circumstances.... BW has to chnage something definitly.

Indeed. The last conversation was very moving.
"I want more time." Are her last words in very desperate, broken and sad voice.:crying:
This is no way to end such an amazing romance, Bioware.:pinched:

Actually, it is. I had her with me in the final push, her dying down there while I die up there - it was a possibility. And the reason I chose an ending where I would die, believing she was dead already. All my way up to the platform I was hoping for some radio contact with her, or at least see her body...but when I ran to the beam, I didn't see her either. Didn't know at the time there WAS no ending where I would NOT die. And that there was no ending where she would not live, for she obviously evacuated to the Normandy and then fled the system within the five minutes between me being at the beam and being a beam of green light.

I do not need to settle with her on Rannock. I would be okay with a statue, her and me, arm in arm, me pointing to the sky. That statue should have her suit, but her real face, for she should be remembered as she is. I wouldn't have minded her being on the planet with Joker and EDI and the rest of the gang (minus Garrus, he wanted to see me at the bar up there, and I'd hate to wait for him too long - unless he goes with Tali afterwards, then my blessings!), wearing a pendant of green light, feeling me near her for as long as she lives.

I just...is it so hard to understand that I so desperately need closure?

For me it's too depressive to end the romance in such way.
I wasn't sure whether Shepard will survive or not, but I did everything I could to ensure the possibility. And for me, Tali surviving Earth is a must, anything less deserves restart of the mission and everything less than happy Tali ending deserves alternative DLC ending.
For the last moments to be the ones of fear and desperation and sadness... No way. Tali deserves happy ending, either with Shepard, or maybe with Garrus if Shepard won't make it, or hell, with whoever she wants.
I'd have Garrus to look after her anyway while watching from the afterlife bar.^_^

It is INDOCTRINATION:O.

If it is, it means that they never intended another ending and have reacted desperately to the fans.

I hope they put the same quality of work into an alternate ending as they did into 99 percent of this absolutely superb game...for the ending just seems without any love or effort.

They will MAKE A DLC or a lot of people will be even more angry.

True but right now that game desperatly needs a new ending or at least an epilogue.

I just hope once they released the game they will have a bit more freedom with additional content and they will deliver what needs to be done.

Of course the best outcome would be if they released the Ending DLC for free for Online Pass owners. But I am willing to pay up to 25 $ for a well done ending.

Yeah, the same hapened to me, in both my playthroughs. Though I didn't survive in the first one, not enough readiness.:pinched:

Again, I don't mind a depressing ending, it is very much realistic for any way, nevertheless such a gigantic one.

And to clarify, of course I didn't SEE her lying dead - I just wish I had, somehow. Would ease the choices up there, you know. When running for the stupid beam, I could use my POWERS! Why so? Had no point, did it? And thus I imagined my crew being here. While I was totally focused on the beam, I just...expected them to be close. And when I was basically one of two making it, I just presumed them dead. And since I have Tali by my side in the hardest of moments to give me extra motivation, I expected her to be dead.

And yes. Garrus and Tali are my krantt! If I pass on, my blessings to them. I know both will do me justice.

I should work a bit more on the eyes, but I think he was right.

Although Hammasa Kohistani and the female model here are both gorgeous, but this picture is far more better than the bioware's version, especially the right one, well done sir .

Wish you had seen her dead? Sounds strange to me. I also feared that she could be dead. But I didn't let hope go. Anyway, depressive ending sucks. It's a game, its Mass Effect, which means, we need to have the opportunity to achieve a happy end as well as an depressive end. Depneding on you and how hard you work for it. Where are my options?

I was always curious to see her face and I think Bioware never showing us except for the picture actually makes us appreciate it more. I grew up in an era with movies and books where the word "prequel" didn't exist and the mystery of "what happened before?" only made the story more interesting; not showing Tali's face makes us makes her cool to me (although I liked her gift in the cabin, too.)

And at last with that great pick. Right one is better but as yuo noticed yourself you have to work on the eyes, reflections are somewhat offm the previous picture had them done much better (although I agree they needed a bit more shine)

Well, the thing is - I might survive the Red Ending, sure. But I'd kill EDI. I would never do that, sorry. Not only are the geth now all free as Legion was, but EDI had...found love. And AI finding love. That was too good, and thus the choice between killing EDI and killing myself was obvious. Especially since my job then would be done, I was done killing others in my name.

So, what other endings. The blue one was a truly renegade one, since it basically was what the Illusive **** wanted. I had just liberated the Geth, and once again there's EDI, and tolerance was the whole undertone of the game. Tali told me how Geth and Quarians joined up in suit environments to faster adapt! If I'd control them now, I would undo the good I've done. AND die at the same time. Nu-uh.

So, the green ending was the way to go. And despite it being a basic rape of all sexual freedoms by force-fusing them together, at least my death blasted a way for...well, Joker and EDI. That's about it, true. But at least that.

So, why would I find comfort in believing Tali is dead when I make those decisions?

Because otherwise I'd get the hell out of the station, order the fleet to bomb the citadel into the next parallel universe, thus ending the control over the reapers, finishing the machines off one by one, and then return to her to advise the council and the Quarian-Geth-Alliance until I die of old age in the arms of my one true love, that's why!

I'm not just ready to die when I could have a life with her instead.

Had pretty much the same thoughts when I was facing the choice. I just couldn't kill off EDI. I have thought of retrieving Anderson from below and pushing him into the control option but the darn elevator doesn't go down anymore and the game doesn't allow me to make up an excuse to have the Starchild allow me to retrieve him.

So.. Tali never got that house and ended up on a planet where she still has to wear the evironmental suit her whole life hoping there's at least something edible and something to purify the food with for her or else she'll just end up dead from allergic reactions soon enough.. Gog that's depressing.

Hehe...hehehe...hehehehehehehe!

Reminds me pleasantly of my description of the ending in the other threads...that it was like watching somebody paint the Mona Lisa right down to the point where the smile was missing, then wiped the canvas clean with paint thinner and drew a crooked smiley face instead. While making us watch.

Actually, with her being part synthetic now, she might not need the suit anymore in the future, and with Garrus she could probably join circuits to create new life.

Again, of course, none of this is described in any way, so it just could be that all life is destroyed anyway.

Tali wanted more time. At that point I wish I could've just given it to her.

Hey lads,
Figure it's a bit of a long shot, but it can't hurt to try. Incase anyone hasn't been there yet, this is the official thread from Bioware where potential changes can be requested.

Now, I figured, maybe (just maybe) if we were all to go in there and politely, succinctly, and in our own words ask that in the part following Tali's romance scene, after Shepard wakes from his nightmare, that that scene be changed to include a character model with her face, we might just have a chance to see her after all.

Like I said, it's proabably a long shot, but if there was ever a cause for Tali's fans to throw their weight behind, this is likely it;)

So the only one with a happy ending and who got the girl in the end was Joker? The lucky bastard. ♥

But then again the planet they flew to must've been within the range of regular FTL travel, as it wasn't shown Joker making a relay jump, so if they get enough eezo the Earth can send out folks to find them.

Goodness I wish the ending had actually shown how things go instead of leaving it completely vague. I just tried to give Tali a home. ... Darnit, now I'm sad again. I think I'll go draw ponies.
