If AI controlled Reapers, shutting down AI would leave Reapers in disarray. Break off formation, destruction by unified galactic fleet realistic. Also, fleet could've destroyed the Reapers by themselves, and citadel no offensive weaponry.

I stated this before, but i have a cunning plan for locating the Normandy crew
1) Establish communications with the Normandy. I would wager that it is possible for the QEC to still be functionin; which since it was connected to earth, would allow Shepard to communicate with the Normandy. Even if it is damaged, it could still possible to get a very weak signle through, which could help finding the Normandy's location
2) Using the established communication, try to pinpoint the Normandy's location. This could be done by tracing the signle of the QEC and/or having the Normandy crew send picture/observationss of the stars (thus getting a decent idea of what direction they are in) . Even if all that is acomplished is giving Shepard a basic idea of what direction they are in it will greatly increase the chances of success
3) Take a exploration vessle filled with fuel and food. As pointed out by Blind Bandit, unless the Normandy somehow got sent out further then the indended destination, the Normandy crew is likely no more then 36 light years away. Even if they were teleported somewhere else, it shouldn't takle too long to find them, mayve a week or so. If a decent idea of what direction they are in is established, I think Shepard has a prity good chance of locating them, and having enough fuel/food for the return trip.
4) Return to earth and live happily ever after...with a **** ton of other problems as a resault of the ending, but shut up, Tali and Shepard get to reunite and stay togeather.
Physics here, not my opinion.
