What would you guys do/think if you caught Garrus (or anyone else) hitting on Tali?
If it was Garrus I'd know that's just him being himself. Besides, he's my bro, he wouldn't mess anything up.
But if it was anyone else I'd take it as a compliment to Tali and it would make me feel even more proud to be with her.
...Yeah, I'm a hopeless romantic, lol
Play it cool, till Tali need my Shepards help. She is big girl she can handle herself... remember she does have shotgun.

Ok lets try and get off all the depressing theories. So, whats everyones favourite part of the talimance??
He does, not the L word, but in a way that means something specifically to Tali. When he tells her "Keelah Se'Lai" he is saying to her that he loves her. It's also a way of him saying he takes on her wants, her needs, her desires. The Rannoch scene where they have the exchange is pretty powerful.

And yes, Tali's pic is a photoshop. I forgive them for that. Sure, I wanted more Tali. But at the moment, the pic was lovely. I need an ending to this, though. One without me committing genocide. One where that AI eats its own words.
One where I can hug her again.

Yep, they should wrap things up with Tali before moving on to a new trilogy.
And with the other characters aswell.

I mean, a sad ending is one thing. One where I'm forced into genocide is a whole other stuff. Knowing of this ending, I would never send the fleets to earth or start a ground attack. I'd blow the Citadel to pieces, ending its control over the Reapers. Shepard had a gun. He should've shot at the core. Still...the logical holes were just too big to accept this.
Anything to drink for you?

Yes, give me the strongest Krogan liquor you have.
After this horrible ending I need to flush something down my emergency induction port...

I hear that. One glass of Krogan Absinthe coming right your way. Be careful, even small inductions cause emergencies.
Isn't it weird, though...the whole game was just brilliant. Every moment was "I don't wanna stop". And I heard about the ending being crappy, but I wanted to just go for the ride and maybe it wouldn't be so bad. And then...the letdown. The disappointment. I wasn't sad (I was when I said goodbye to my squadmates), I was...smashed! It just didn't fit at all. The logical holes. The plotholes. The genocide. I felt so...betrayed of all the good feelings.

Heh, it was crazy seeing Tali and Garrus together. Well, on Youtube. Heh, I romanced Tali in my game. Planning to do another run through the first game and try a different LI, but it'll be tough.
True. I was planning it myself, and put it aside until I can live with that ending. Anything to drink?

In the end it felt a bit pointless.
Instead of making all these mini-missions Bioware could have made some additional character based content,
such as loyalty missions that matter in the end.
ME2 pulled that off a lot better.

I was left in two minds about bringing Tali with me on that final mission. First time through I took Tali and Garrus, but then they seemed to get blown up and later magically teleported away. So I figured it would be better on my brain to leave them next time and take Jarvik and Ashley instead as they both seem to have death wishes anyway and then it wouldn't be quite so weird (though still very very weird) to have Tali appear on the Normandy at the end. Though having picked the destroy ending Jarvik still teleported (he seems like the champion of destroy, which makes sense I suppose).
Ah well. Anyway, it wouldn't feel right moving on to another ME story without finding out Tali's fate and the fate of the romance. If we don't get an epilogue/story fix/extension I can't see me playing a new ME universe game.

Another thing that bothered me was that I spent most of the game working on improving my war assets because I expected another ME2 final battle. One deciding about life and death of my crew members.

Main reason of complaint of the game. The ending was completely pointless. Rallying an army was a waste of time. And not influential by the player. It's just a matter of fact that...we should've retreated, give up earth, destroy the mass relay there, build up armies as fast as we can otherwhere, destroy the reapers not at earth one by one, and wait for the bulk of the reapers to arrive again, so we can blast them the second they appear.
The game was undeserving of such an ending. The game was fabulous. The ending...I still can't get over it, what was the point in that ending.

Yeah the war assets didn't really amount to anything other then a number. The closest you get to telling the difference you made is hearing/seeing the various fleets check in and a handful of conversations before embarking on the final mission. Whoever you don't choose to take on your final mission, doesn't seem to get involved at all (they don't even include them in the hill run, where your companions are irrelevant anyway).

I hope they give Tali and the other LI's the attention they deserve in future DLCs and updates.
The next Mass Effect won't be released before the next-gen consoles are revealed anyway,
so Bioware will have plenty of time to work on DLC and other projects...

Destroying the mass relay at earth would have been enough to wipe out the Reapers.
After all destroying the mass relays causes a detonation with the power of a small supernova,
at least according to the in-game dialog.
That alone would suffice to wipe out the entire reaper fleet gathered at earth.

Which would've been the ****ing bulk of it. All we had to do is send an asteroid into the relay, make the jump back, wipe out the reapers (earth is a casualty, then, yes...sad, but yes), then assemble the fleet and do with the rest. Yeah, we can run silent rescue missions to earth with the Normandy to try and get as many out as possible at first. In fact, what sort of a guerilla quest and mission series that would've been!
What still bugs me - why did Shepard have no option to just say no to that genocidal AI?
I wish for a better ending. But the suffering this one has caused in me I will not easily forget.

Salarian glasses came this mornin' in overnight delivery. You know, since we just beat the reapers and the citadel in classic combat, transport through the relays was no prob at all.
