Worst part of that...Tali'Zorah jumping off cliff.
Never did it. Watched on youtube.

Indeed.  Hearing her sob...watching her people die...then turning around and saying, "I'm sorry." while falling off a cliff...it broke me down.

Just be ready if you bring her into the final battle.  You may have to button mash either the mouse and/or keyboard to save her life.  Who knows what sort of horrors you will face in the 'real' ending of the game.  But I know one thing...im ready to kick some reaper ass with Tali + Garrus, if not the whole squad, and send them back to the nothingness they came out of.

Does anyone have a video link of the Dreadnought mission without romancing Tali?

Maybe with a FemShep? I'm kinda of curious to see how that turns out.

I finished Mass Effect 3 yesterday. 10 seconds long, after the last sequence, i sat in front of my monitor.. thoughtless... annoyed. Then i regret the playthrough. This should not be the end of such a great trilogy.

Gather secrets with Liara.
Build a home with Tali.
Shoot villains with Garrus.
Take a break with Kaidan or Ashley.
This should be the end of Mass Effect.

Every decisision you made in the previous games... even in the third. Over 5 years. All for nothing.
They simply took no influence to the ending. All equally bad. I feel angry.
Not that any decision ever took a big impact. But at least you got a renegade and a paragon ending.
You know, that flowerish kind of ending where everyone walks out alive.
With Shepard as shiny hero who grabs his/her LI and live a calm life.

Besides there's no happy end for Shepard and his/her love interrest, Talis picture bothered me the most.
BioWare took absolutly no effort in designing a face for Tali. It's illogical in so many ways.

1. The person on this picture is never 20-21 years old.
2. Long hairs must be very inconvenient in an enviromental suit.
3. She looks way too human.
4. I only saw desert like places on Rannoch... In the Background theres green everywhere.
5. Tali completly suitless? Serious?  Wow, her immunesystem adapted very well.

Don't get me wrong. It's a beautiful woman on that picture. But it's not Tali.
In the artwork books there a so many designs for all the characters that appear in ME.

I don't want to believe that they only took a license free, random picture out of the internet and photoshopped it.

http://www.globalgam...74&d=1331272955

And now, since you guys are kindred in spirit, i would like to ask for a favor.
I simply can't read through the whole 800 pages of text. What the heck is actually going on right now?

I continually read stuff like "hold the line". Are we Talimancers try to convince BioWare to alter her appearance? Like BioWare did with the Batarians in Mass Effect 1?

And what is the actual state of affairs in the fight for a happy ending with Shepards LI?

I'm glad to belong to this community.
So let me say what everybody else say:  "Hold the Line!"

Good point, doc.

And while Bioware uses this time to fix the ending, I might aswell play ME3 again on the highest difficulty.

Don't really care what she looks like, as long as consistent with Environment suit shape. Hair only real issue there, and is minor nitpcik.

We hold the line for Tali because deserved fully rendered face, no matter what source. Longer scenes with her, romance short no matter how good it is.

And we hold the line against the endings.
Deserves house on Rannoch.

@reeot:

Here's a quick recap.

1.) Almost everyone hates the ending(s).
2.) "Hold the line" is a fan initiative to make Bioware fix it.
3.) People enjoyed the Tali romance but thought that this photoshopped picture of her wasn't the appropriate way of revealing how an entire race in the ME universe looks. They just didn't make any effort.
4.) Players criticized that building up the war assets doesn't make much of a difference.

Heh, go figure, the AI can't compete with the difficulty.  At least they're there when you need them, and they tend to show up in the places you least expect them to.  But they're horrible at fallowing, getting stuck behind doors and such.

Speaking of AI, if you 'sprint', do they sprint alongside you, or are they unable to keep up?  I've never seen Tali sprint, so...i'm a bit curious.

Hello Buddha. Largely agree with you.
But why not render her face?

Either way, need to go. Meet with Thane, Irikah, and Legion on beach. Nice time talking.

Considering this only happens when you haven't romanced her, if she did get together with Garrus, you're the one at fault. Deal with it.

just natural man's reaction to a situation like that, whether i romanced her or not lol. i did obv romance her though.

Nah, it can't be that bad.  Well, I won't lie, it might be a bit bad for Tali because she has chicken legs, but even then...I doubt it is.  Tali might even be a fast sprinter with how her legs are, but I think the structure of her legs benefits her jump more than her sprint.

I have to admit, I hate how ridiculus it looks to sprint in Mass Effect 3.  In Mass Effect one, it lasted too short, but it was damn powerful; you could knock enemies aside, and you ran 30-40 MPH.  In Mass Effect 2, it was the usual sprint, looked ok, it was timed, nothing unusual.  In 3, it lasts forever, but it looks bad.  I'm not sure if you can knock people over with it, I haven't tried.

Agreed. Shepard should be able to be more possessive. Especially ReneShepard.

I didn't mind the picture.  To answer your questions.

1. Age is a funny thing in dealing with aliens.  Also I belive Tali is around 23?
2. Long hair could be, depends on some things. I've worn helmets with long hair, it's doable and not really a hassle if you know how.
3. Quarians are said, by in game canon, to be the most human looking barring the fingers/toes and ears.  And of course the cool glowy eyes.
4. Rannoch has green belts around the water sources.  It's like on earth where it can be very lush around a water source.
5. Well we don't know that.  We have no idea if there is an undersuit of something else she had on.  If it was quick enough she'd be ok.  Rannoch is probably one of the few places she could go suitless for a time without many repercussions.

Considering she is intimate with Shep multiple times ove the course of ME2/3 and she adapted to him over a six - nine month period  I'd say it's not that far outside the realm of possibility.

For me, it is Tali. Age doesn't really matter, I would also the woman could be older than 20 and we don't really know if you can say: That Quarian must be 25 or something like this.

The hair might be inconvenient but it is actually possible.

We did know that Quarians must look some way human, beacuse at first you could see how there forehead and nose and mouth is formed throgh their helmet and second if you payed attention on the ME2 mission with the Idenna, where you pick up a sole survivor, you can find Quarian skeletons. Thier skull is actually human.

According to what you said about Rannoch... Earth covers up quite a lot of different regions. Why shouldn't Rannoch do so, too?

And well, Tali already opened up her mask, so I guess if she is able to reveal her face to the atmosphere, doing so with the rest of the body for a short time won't kill her instantly.

EDIT: damn, lomifeh was first XD

Thanks for the update.

Personally it think one race which look like humans is enough.
But this is just my opinion.

Is there any way for me to support a fully renderd (eventually altered) face for Tali?

The skeletons could not be quarians just by the legs. But Batarians also had looked different first.

So she traveled around on Rannoch before leaving? Okay.. possible... unlikely but possible.

Just recalled something that made me kind of laugh. When you are helping Legion remove the Reaper corruption from the Geth and you see the flashbacks how all the Quarians are in suits and you mention this. The response from Legion when you mention you've seen a Quarian without a suit "there must be no analogue" made me kind of chuckle. Coz I thought "Yeah Tali is one of a kind."

And yes i know it was partly laziness that made them not render the Quarians but I still liked how my mind went to that first.

I think most of us would appreciate a romance DLC or something similar with Talis face in 3d. But better not altered. Would be silly. Then you've got Talis picture on the one and her different looking 3d render on the other hand. As I said, I really like BWs Tali-face, even though it is annoying that they obviously didn't spend much time on doing it.
