Well, it's possible they'll let ash get nuked for dramatic effect. So that way Shepard would be single going in to the sequel. Although I still think they will go with Liara. Hollywood, like Cpt. Kirk does love blue boobs.

Apparently someone wants Bioware buried under a mountain of enraged fans really badly.
And since it's ME1, there can't be any Tali romance unless Legendary decides to completely break the canon, I'm sorry, Knight.
If they were to make one about ME2 after, it likely still wouldn't be Tali. In a game, switching LI's between games is fine (and in my case, was a delight), but in film, I think it'd be seen as a major betrayal.
................ unless maybe Shep was with Ash in the first one, and they follow the story of ME2 really closely, and Ash gets all suspicious and dismissive ......... maybe then he could move on to Tali:?

Can't say I was a fan of the last two books. Apparently Douglas Adams was going to write a new book that was more uplifting... but then he died.
I suppose you could say those of us that read all the books are used to painfully depressing endings to a much loved series. Though at least I never found the ending tarnished the great stuff that came before (The first three books are still amongst my favourite of all time).

The movie was nice, I saw it more as a loose interpretation, kinda like the LotR movies, but a bit shoddier in quality. Still, nice and fun. The three first books are just ****ing brilliant, and the base of all alien diplomacy.
