I feel like I missed out on something amazing when I hear about the old threads to make Tali a romanceable character in ME2.

Story time!

I'm a bit of a newbie to the ME franchise. Started back in the summer of '11 when Steam had a summer sale on ME1 and 2. I heard good things about it and always was curious why it was praised so much. It was also made by Bioware and I love their games so I figured I'd buy 'em and try it out. Let's just say it was the best decision I've ever made, ever.

In ME1, the characters that stuck out to me the most were Garrus and Tali'Zorah. I wanted to learn more about them and their species more than any other(Krogan were a close second ). Over time I felt drawn to Tali more and more and when I found out she couldn't be romanced in 1 I was a bit sad. ...I also somehow romanced Ashley even though I never intended to and didn't consummate the relationship before Ilos. Somehow there was a picture of her on my desk in ME2 .

After finding out Tali could be romanced(thanks to you awesome guys that helped make her romanceable in ME2) I was extremely happy and don't regret romancing her at all. Best LI in the series imo.

Hah! Yeah... Waxing nostalgic, here. Unfortunately the Internet Wayback Machine hasn't archived anything before 2009. I did find this quaint little thread (from before BSN and ME2) regarding a potential Tali face reveal. =p

As for Tali, she liked the music from Flux. If she has a thing for "classic" human music, I'd guess she'd have an appreciation for minimal techno or something similar.

For some reason, I think of this song and Tali for some reason.
Alos used it as my muse when writing my first steamy scene for my fanfic I finally finished a couple of weeks ago.

I think the bottom line is not only did Bioware decide to whip up a quick photo of a main character. They kind of made a quick whip up of a half assed game in general. ME 3 is a lame ending to an otherwise amazing series. But everything seemed tired and rushed like they were just not into making a third game so we get a sad pathetic end that wasn't deserved. Thanks to Bioware for ME 1 and 2. But come on man, you could have done better with ME 3...we paid for your DLC's and your collectors editions......you owed us.

Hmm...assuming that we're merely observers to Tali, I would say the Love Theme from Mass Effect 1 fits in great with her.  The piano chords are perfect in that song.  "I was lost without you" would come in at a good second, and "Reflections" would be third. 

As for Tali's favorite song...we'll just have to see, now won't we?  It would be nice if you could import your own songs in Mass Effect 3 and possibly have more of a variety of options to do with Tali after the game...

this could actually apply to all 3 games however. Moar Tali is always needed .
