From what little I've heard, they just had people from Bioware throw around concepts for Tali's looks and picked one they liked, and it happened to be the stock photo edit.

Using Ash Sroka would've been awesome, although it would've suffered from the same problem as the current photo: her physiology doesn't actually fit in the suit. Tali has a longer neck and narrower face than the current picture, and the same is true for Ms. Sroka. More extensive photoshopping is necessary.

... I would kill for an actual 3D model of Tali unmasked in-game. DLC?

Very true about the physiology, but that should be a fun task to tackle as a designer.  That's why I really think Bioware was just super lazy with this.  It's like a love-hate situation for me, I think the picture/design they chose IS in fact pretty and fits Tali, but the level of laziness involved baffles me... if I was a designer with them, I would have LOVED to create a design using Ash Sroka's face (or even the one they chose) to fit Tali's in-game physiology.

Another problem with the current picture is: when was it taken?

It's either a green screen picture taken in a clean room on a quarian ship, or it was taken in the five minutes she was on Rannoch after the destruction of the reaper base.

In which case... who the eff took the pic?  I don't remember Shepard carrying a camera at the time while fighting the Reaper for his/her facebook page.

Omni-tools can take pictures, as is evident from the side-quest where you help the one Salarian who wants pictures of the refugee camp in the docks on the Citadel.

The problem with that magazine is she isn't cuddling Shepard. On another note, the suit is wrong in the picture. No designs at all, plus the front of her suit isn't cloth/leather/whatever. She has that golden metal thing around her neck and then some sort of material on the front part. It's mainly the sides, back, and hood with the symbols on them and even they weren't in her picture.

Quick restart for one comment.  Organic, are you referring to the woman posing with Shephard-Commander?  Because we believe that is the organic known as Ashley Williams, Lieutenant Commander.  She has 5 fingers...need we say more?

The only ending that lets him live just makes him take a little longer to die. Kills everything synthetic supposedly, so all those handy life support implants Shep has from his rebuild no longer work. Think it was Miranda that said some of the organics couldnt be repaired (at least a good chunk of his spine).



No matter what, we have a very sad quarian. That is unacceptable. Ignore the endings, they still have a chance to get it right.

I don't think it kills all synthetic's if you destroy the Reapers. Both EDI and the individual Geth had Reaper code in there make up. Destroying the Reapers would include there code, So Geth would revert to being "We" not "I". As for EDI not sure, she would change but if memory serves the Reaper code was used for her cyberwarefare capacity. At any rate I think you could see Synthetic Life dying as in there personallities and what makes them, them would be gone.

Plus it means Shepard would still be alive and can go build Tali her house after they find out where the hell Joker was going.
