True, true. Killing your friends. What a nice ending.

Too bad that the technician has no "Chattika", because the sentry gun replaces her drone.

This unit is in the process of improving Creator infiltrator. Process moving along adequately.Yuvero wrote...
I just earn my quarian yesterday, time to improve her now.
However, this unit's CPU was interested to hear that we will soon be able to play as geth. We are currently in a "pipe dream" state of mind, but nonetheless we can what you organics like to call "dream".

Lucky you. I seem to have unlocked everything but.
I heard the sentry gun isn't very good. What do you think so far?

If you upgrade it with the flamethrower it does decent damage,
but by the time enemies get in range of it they usually take out the gun.
IMO the drone of the human technician is more effective because it's more mobile
and you can send it in to distract the enemy while you take them out.
Let's hope they buff the sentry gun a little.
Until then I'll level my Quarian infiltrator...

Me too, I create a diversion with my drone, flank and kill, always the same, and from time to time it give me a kill or two.

You're assuming the child AI was both truthful and correct. It may have said "all synthetic life" as a shorthand simply because all synthetic life in the galaxy (that Shepard knows about) was based on reaper tech at that point. And since Shepard can survive, I simply choose to believe that (at least some of) the geth and EDI could as well.ryoojin wrote...

In my headcanon (based on the destroy ending), I can picture a scene after the crash landing in which Tali is fixing EDI, who had sustained major damage but was not totally destroyed. The reason we don't see her come out of the Normandy in that ending is because her body took the brunt of it and shorted out, but her Normandy AI core could be repaired. She might not get back to 100% capability, but not a total loss. It takes some time because Tali is distracted because she's agonizing over Shepard's fate. The last thing they saw was the Citadel starting to disintigrate, so she has no idea if he made it, but of course the others offer her all the support they can.
After Tali fixes the AI core, she, EDI, Adams, Ken and Gabriel succeed in restoring the quantum entanglement communicator. Using it, they can contact the forces on earth, and relay their position (which would be easily determined using astronomical references). If you assume that your crewmates evacuate to the Normandy after the call for retreat is heard before Shepard enters the conduit, and that the Normandy was attempting to flee the energy release of the Crucible (since they didn't know what it would do; EDI might have even expressed concern for how it might affect her since it kills reapers), they can't have gotten too far, a couple of days on regular FTL at most.
So they get rescued. Shepard and Tali are reunited. Tali (and Garrus) are able to survive using the food produced by the quarian liveships (which were present at the battle), which also sustains the other turian and quarian survivors.
It takes a few years perhaps, during which times on earth are increasingly tough with only resources from the local cluster available, but eventually the team of scientists from the Crucible, using tech and data salvaged from the dead reapers, manage to crack the secret of the mass relays. In another few years, most of the major connections are restored. Almost a decade after the Reaper's defeat, Shepard and Tali return to Rannoch accompanied by the other quarians, to find that a small percentage of geth, those in the most heavily shielded servers, have managed to survive. Some others reverted to their pre-reaper state, and could be re-upgraded. The rest have, unfortunately, been lost. The remaining geth have been assisting the quarians while simultaneously rebuilding their own numbers. Some quarians have already managed to go extended periods without their suits thanks to the jumpstart of their immune systems.
Shepard and Tali return to the spot where Tali "claimed" a house. The other quarians, not knowing Tali's fate (but knowing she claimed it; I assume she told someone), have kept it clear, using it as a reminder to her great sacrifice to her people. It's filled with flowers and other tributes left there by both quarians and geth. Tali decides to erect a monument there to all their fallen comrades, and build her and Shepard's house somewhere nearby (no lack of space after all with less than 17mln quarians for the entire planet).
I've said it before: if we don't get a fixed ending from BioWare, I'm going to interpret the current ending in the best way possible. The ending is so vague, and the child AI logic is so wonky to begin with, that there's nothing in the current ending that stops my interpretation from being correct.
I'd write a short story for this, but unfortunately I don't have the time. Maybe later, after we know for certain what BioWare's going to do.

Stargazer: “That’s the end, my child. Shepard and Tali’Zorah spent the rest of their years together helping the rebuilding before finally retiring to Rannoch. With the Citadel was destroyed, earth became the new cultural hub of the galaxy after having been host to the survivors of the battle for so long. A new Council was formed with not just three species, but all of them: humans, asari and salarians, krogran and turian, quarian and geth, volus and elcor, hanar and drell; they all played their part. Wrex and Bakara kept their word and kept the krogan in line, and they were instrumental in the rebuilding. And whenever a new AI was created that appeared to be hostile, EDI, the geth, and others like them were able to convince them to restore the peace.
For you see, the reapers and their creators had been wrong: all it took to break the cycle was for one person to have faith in synthetics. And that is why Shepard truly became the legend he is today.”

The ambient dialogue between Tali, Ken, Gabby, and Adams regarding the stealth drive and heat emissions was kinda weird. I mean, they have a freaking admiral on board and they talk to her like she's on her pilgrimage. No matter the fact that she served on the Normandy for all three tours. Also, wasn't she supposed to be Ken & Gabby's superior in ME2?
I think so, but cerberus probably handles things differently. Alas, im not sure if they conversed much, as in Mass Effect 2, Gabby was...turned into jell-o.
On a tali-in-engineering related note, I thought it was funny when Tali tried to use the weapons systems to cool the engine down further and ended up breaking the normandy. Tali was like, "I'll start repairs..." while Engineer Adams chuckled at her, especially after saying the idea won't work. Reminds me of a scene in Star Trek: DS9 when Obrien was on the holodeck recreating the Enterprise-A, and when he tried to fix something, ended up cutting out the lights on the ship.
