I honestly wish they would add paragon interrupts for hugs for LIs in this game. I would have instantly done it when she was talking about that. and many other times as well. Although at the end of that conversation I enjoyed this part:

Shepard: "The difference is that you helped when it counted."
*Tali shakes her head*
Tali: "The difference was you."

...D'aaaaaaaawwww

Great idea for the paragon interupt as well. I'm sure she would of loved a hug at that moment. She sounded so sad

Whoo! Grats on image posting-ness. and yeah, I mean the paragon interrupt makes sense to me. It happened in ME2 when you find her father. I paragon'd that part SO fast. Even if she wasn't showing interest yet, I still enjoyed it a lot.

wow everyday I learn things I either missed/forgot about from previous games. I REALLY need to replay the series and pick up on these moments!

and those cakes look great, but I bet they're expensive...(2nd one looks proffesional)

I guess, but I meant more of the facial structure in itself, not the color.

Its original, alien, yet still human enough to fit what we can already see behind the mask. It also fits her voice better than the model they chose. (I think she's too... Mature looking?) Don't get me wrong, the model is very pretty, but just not "Tali," to me. Maybe Shala from ten years ago, but not the bright and energetic mechanic we all love. I also value its simple design, but its not bland or uninteresting.

In otherwords, its perfect. Far better than a blurry photoshop job that probably took less than an hour to do.

Well I'm going strong with my restart of the series. I can at least re-enjoy the first two and relive all the Tali. The third one will be difficult to start again so I'll see how that goes.

The thing I don't understand is how the development team could be surprised at how the fans would react. It ends up with us asking more questions instead of feeling closure.

The more closely involved you are with a project, the harder it becomes to see its flaws. As the writer, your mind is filling in the blanks because you know the answers to the questions you're posing, and you become unable to see the difference between "leaving room to speculate" and "way too confusing". I've been in that position myself.

I can also understand that the sheer amount of vitriol they've received must be disheartening. The endings are bad, but it's possible to express that without attacking people. Unfortunately, a small minority has been unable to keep things civil.

On an unrelated note, I unlocked a quarian infiltrator in multiplayer.  Woohoo! Now I must learn to snipe...

I would have disliked it. I don't get why most people (From why i've seen), seems that giving Tali any other skin color then human skin color, justifies her to be more alien, then actually just giving her more and better alien traces. Buuuuuuuuut, it's just my opinion of course.

I ran into the same problem. Missed every shot with the widow.
After 10 minutes I decided to back out and continue to play as my Quarian engineer.

I don't have a quarian engineer yet. I unlocked a salarian engineer, but haven't used him yet. Human engineer is still my most used character. Incinerate and combat drone have been my favourite powers since ME2.

I've also been playing an asari vanguard. It's fun, but vanguard doesn't really fit my play style. I feel useless against Atlas and Geth Primes with the vanguard, whereas with the engineer it's overload, overload, overload, incinerate, incinerate, incinerate, BOOM!

The human engineer probably has the best abilities out of the engineers.
However, Humans are the second weakest race...
The flamethrower turret can be pretty helpful for soloing an Atlas or Geth Prime. Banshees, on the other hand...well, hope that they don't shank you with thier hand.

Anyway, we need to get back on topic.
