It's about getting the right tactic, if you got a squad with a vanguard and engineer. If i got an engineer in my group and i am a Vanguard, i just go the other way around the map, picking up the weaker enimes, rallying them up, and give the engineers a chance to focus mainly on the atlas, while i AoE the living **** out of the rest of them.Dilandau3000 wrote...
I don't have a quarian engineer yet. I unlocked a salarian engineer, but haven't used him yet. Human engineer is still my most used character. Incinerate and combat drone have been my favourite powers since ME2.Nkromelow wrote...

On an unrelated note, I unlocked a quarian infiltrator in multiplayer.Woohoo! Now I must learn to snipe...
I ran into the same problem. Missed every shot with the widow.
After 10 minutes I decided to back out and continue to play as my Quarian engineer.
I've also been playing an asari vanguard. It's fun, but vanguard doesn't really fit my play style. I feel useless against Atlas and Geth Primes with the vanguard, whereas with the engineer it's overload, overload, overload, incinerate, incinerate, incinerate, BOOM!

Which reminds me that I need to get my new 18" barrel that will accept chokes and that sexy combat choke I've been drooling over for a couple months now... length will be closer to 20" and I think it will officially make my poor baby "tacti-cool" but all the upgrades on it are functional so I don't think it counts... pistol grip with folding stock is more comfy, mag extension to take her up to an 8 round capacity and a solid choke to tighten up my pattern aren't really what I would call vanity items...
wow off topic, it's late I apologize

....does MagPul even make shotgun stuff? I thought they were all AR-15 gear. Regardless the most "tacticool" thing on my 870 at present is a Blackhawk collapsable stock and while I winced at purchasing a blackhawk product (years in my beloved Corp of Marines, and seeing their **** all over the PX has ingrained a mild hatred/allergy of their products) I gotta admit that thing manages recoil like a champ and is solidly built. Nice ergonomics as well.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing with the vanguard. Focus on the other enemies so those with more powerful weapons can take out the atlas or prime.Xatharos wrote...

I'm not as bad with the quarian infiltrator as I expected. It kind of depends on the map, but I'm able to get some decent shots in with the sniper rifle on occasion. Mailslotting guardians is fun.
Also, tactical cloak is very useful for getting the objectives, especially the "enable four devices" one. Either I use it to run to the next device, or cloak before activating. Makes what was previously my least favourite objective a cakewalk. Also, sabotaging those damn pyros. Let them turn their flames on their own kind for a change.
The only downside is that I've develop a muscle memory for hitting the 2 quickslot whenever I'm in trouble. For the engineer that's incinerate, for the vanguard it's statis, but for the infiltrator it's the sticky grenade, and those are finite.
I still suck at it, though. Kind of getting the hang of bronze, but I'm still not brave enough to try silver.
EDIT: And I always give Tali the geth shotgun after I find it in ME3. Awesome shotgun for an awesome lady.

Do you guys recommend giving it a go? I am a FPS veteran and have played at pretty high levels for shooters such as counter strike and battlefield so would it be relativity easy for me?
Thanks!

I am still yet to try out the multiplayer side of ME3. From what I've been reading so far of people's discussions on this thread, it seems that everybody is having a lot of fun with it.

Very enjoyable, my buddy and I play all the time. Give the human engineer a go, he's my favorite class.

Yeah, it's pretty fun. It has some glitches, and the "spacebar for everything" issue can get you sometimes (especially when you're trying to revive someone and all the game is letting you do is take cover), but overall I quite like it. I'm not an expert though, I don't play any shooters besides ME, haven't played any for the past 20 years (last one was Doom).ryder500 wrote...

Based on what people in the MP forum are saying, I guess you might find bronze quite easy (although it's really set up for four people, so if you try it without a full squad, or with an inept squad, it might still be challenging), but silver is hard, and gold is hardcore from what I understand. Don't try gold until you've leveled up both your character and your equipment, otherwise people will just kick you, from what I've been told.

I unlocked the quarian infiltrator with a plain old recruit pack (I'm still mainly buying recruit packs to max out the standard weapons; people in the MP forum recommended doing that to reduce the chance of common items in the more expensive packs later on). You just gotta be lucky, I guess. I've unlocked at least one alien in each class by now.Xatharos wrote...
A thing that would make multiplayer alot of fun for me, is if i could unlock a Quarian Engineer! My N7 rank is like, what? Around 140! With all that time, and Spectre packs i've bought, i still haven't unlocked one :C But the Wraith shotgun, oh i have that. Feel like, I should feel very happy unlocking that, but i just can't.

I simply don't understand how saving the geth was the paragon choice if Shepard couldn't get the upper left choice. the geth are multiple processes that work to make up a single networked intelligence: essentially they all are pieces that make up one individual that chooses what they do. If you don't allow the code to be uploaded the geth never evolve into individuals, as I understood legion to say. so killing the geth is basically only letting one individual die. not to mention the geth don't even have the capability to feel sad over their death and the death of others, they just think it shouldn't happen. If you kill the quarians, however, you are killing millions of individuals, each of whom will experience traumatic emotional pain as their entire race is wiped out. Many of these quarians aren't even in the wrong, such as Tali and Koris. so you either kill millions, some innocent and some guilty, to save one who can't even feel joyful about it, or you just let the one die, saving millions more innocent lives.fortunately I got peacebut I seriously can't understand why anyone would choose the geth over the quarians if they are trying to do the right thing.
because if you do the mission to disable the fighter base you see that the Geth were the non aggressors at the start of war and it was essentially self-defense. The Qurains were killing the own people to shut down the Geth thats why.
Still you don't to choose one over the other... you can a choose the Paragon Rally or Renegade Warn the fleet and they will back off...
thats if you play your cards right.

I think is a matter of luck, my N7 rank is below yours and I already unlocked both quarians specialists plus the entire set of colours and customization for my salarian engineer.
