@nitefyer410 thanks for the reply, and I understand what you are saying, and I did do that mission... I've understood that the geth weren't aggressors ever since Tali explained the geth uprising in ME1, my problem is that by siding with the geth it makes more innocent individuals die and brings more pain than killing off the geth. As legion states the geth won't achieve individuality unless the reaper code is uploaded to them, so denying legion the ability to upload the code only destroys one innocent: the geth. letting the quarians die kills many more innocent individuals who wanted peace.while it does bring justice to those foolish enough to wrongfully wage war against the geth, more people experience injustice. I think of it this way. There is a city where half of the people who live there want to kill a man named jack. The other half are fighting for peace and a living-unharmed jack. You can either nuke the city and save jack but kill millions of innocent people, or save jack. I know I would just let jack die. Especially if he wouldn't even feel emotion over his death

This is a gross simplification of the Geth. Reaper code upgraded them, but that doesn't mean they were all one individual. They're just billions of Geth with an incredibly democratic way of life. All Geth can share memories, come to consensus on decisions and so forth. But they're not all parts of one individual. Geth code just made them smarter, meaning they can work better and be more individual with less programs operating.

I think. <.<

Just tried a silver MP match (with my level 20 human engineer). Damn, that was hard. Five Atlases in a wave (I think; more than 3 anyway, I was too busy staying alive to count), who thought that would be fun? Don't even want to know what that would be like facing reaper forces. Five banshees? Posted Image And bear in mind that enemies on silver both have more health/shields and do more damage than on bronze.

And during the extraction, two atlases bearing down on us from different directions. I shoot one with my one remaining rocket (used the first on another atlas to take off the pressure while we were trying to do an upload objective and getting slaughtered), and there's another Atlas behind it.

We made it to the end though... somehow. Full extraction, even. It was a damn good team that managed to pull that off.

I don't want to contemplate what gold is like. It's likely to give me nightmares.

because if you do the mission to disable the fighter base you see that the Geth were the non aggressors  at the start  of war and it was essentially self-defense. The Qurains were killing the own people to shut down the Geth  thats why.

Still you don't to choose one over the other... you can a choose the Paragon Rally or Renegade Warn the fleet and they will back off...

thats if you play your cards right.

Non-aggressors that killed ~ 3-5 billion children.  Many of whom were probably less than 3 years old.
Yep, I can always feel sorry for a race that does that.

Gold reapers is nightmarish. By wave 3, it becomes a ridiculous consant spawn of brutes and banshees, and if its a 'sit here and die for 5 minutes' assignment....

But people can do it. Getting people to work together to chain biotic and tech combos together helps immensely. Gunfire alone won't cut it.

Personally, I run a Quarian infiltrator with a Widow IV (no other weps), almost always shooting from under the tac cloak, and following up with sticky grenades/sabotage on things that I miss/don't kill in one/a few shots. It does help that I (believe I am) an ok shot.  Quite comfortable with playing silver against any of the enemies.

If Tali were in the MP as the Quarian engineer, I would imagine that Chiktikka works a lot better than the current version of the combat drone (which Quarian engineers Don't Even Have!)

Combat drone improved a lot over ME2, actually. Especially when you get them to the max level and can select rocket drone. Always fun to get assist/kill points when you're not even near an enemy. :)

I don't have a Widow for my quarian infiltrator yet. All I have is the default sniper rifle, although it's upgraded to level X so it's not bad.

I guess I got spoiled in ME2, now that the AI is improved so that they aren't always like "ENEMY COMBAT DRONE! MUST AROUND TO KILL IT NAO!!!!!"

I just don't think it fires fast enough to work all that well.

But that's off Tali topic.

That worked well against husks if I recall. They'd just all run at the drone instead of you.

Too bad Tali no longer calls her drone Chiktikka in ME3. Actually, too bad that combat chatter is much reduced in general. Sure, it was unrealistic, but much of it was funny.

And the bar is clean and ready to go.

Nearly at the end of my second playthrough (5 missions left in total) and even with the horror that is the ending coming up, being able to go through all the conversations with Tali once more makes me feel immensely better about the trilogy as a whole.

It seems such a shame that after so long being able to shape the world and interact with everything, that chance of a beachfront property evaporates at the end in a blast of saddening space magic.

I couldn't help but think that in the talk with the Citadel AI, my Shephard would have given a lot of consideration to the choice of 'Hmm. No, no we have hope here, and the biggest damn fleet in the Galaxy. We're going to win this, and your spin means nothing in the end. You're going to lose. Good luck with that.'

Then it'd just be a case of watching the fireworks before slowly building up that house with Tali.

I would support a "Build Tali a house" DLC. Shoot the falling bricks before they land on her face. Use the Normandy's scanner to find missing equipment and tools. And the final boss could be connecting it to the power grid.

In ME1, Tali presented her BIASED view.  She told you what she had been taught.
In ME3.  Legion presented its BIASED view.  It showed you only what it wanted you to see.

They were both wrong.
Chosing one over the other is incredibly stupid and near sighted.

Even back in ME1, from Tali's description of the event, I was thinking "it sounds like the quarians brought this on themselves." The stuff with Legion in ME2 and 3 just confirmed my suspicions.

Still, neither side was entirely blameless, so having to pick one over the other would've been hard (fortunately I didn't have to in my playthrough). I would've picked the quarians if the game had made me, but that's just because no matter how much I like Legion, Tali's my Shepard's LI so there's no way he'd let her people die.

I didn't have to choose between the Quarians and Geth either, but as you say Dilandau3000, if it really came down to the wire I'd have to pick the Quarians because of Tali. I do like the Geth, and I feel sorry for them, but it's harder to pick them when they've ended up shooting at me remarkably often.

In my current playthrough (RUSH TO GET TALI then go back to play side missions), I actually didn't have enough reputation to make peace between the two races -.-'''''

So I had to let Tali use her boot knife. Not a bad thing, but I just wish she is able to stab other things with it.

Just had another masseffect dream. It was a review of an ending dlc. It said "Talimancers would give a right testicle for what's in store". I am hopeful indeed.

Can I buy a krogan testicle on the black market and give that instead? I'm rather fond of my own.

Tsk, tsk, tsk...I hate vanguards.

So, you early-uppers (for American times), any of you fancy a drink then? I can serve Tali drinks. It's just regular drinks with the color purple in it.

Actually...it's more likely that they will resolve the cliffhanger they created in the red ending.

Still. I don't want the Geth destroyed. And I just love EDI, no way I would hinder her from hanging with Joker for the rest of his life.

So that ending better NOT DESTROY ALL synthetic life. I've been on good terms with my toaster for the most time.

Also, can you get me some Superglue Mass Relay Strength?
