I just wanted to go be with Tali on Rannoch with a geth roommate and an apartment over the garage for Garrus... End makes me sad. :(

Don't need geth roommate.
Garrus better off taking care of family. Possibly hooking up with Dr. Michel.

Garrus really seems interested in inter-species relationship.

Or maybe he's just in the whole looking-for-someone-to-kiss-when-the-clock-strikes-midnight-on-December-31 thing. Only instead of New Years Eve, it's before going into battle with very small odds of making it out alive.

Huh...just finished the Rannoch mission for the second time. I've yet to go to Thessia. I kind of don't want to. The endings just...killed the want to go any farther.

Gonna be one of those nights...

Here's to scotch. *tips glass*

I've started a NG+, but I'm taking my time with it. I may stop just short of the Cerberus base though, at least until I see what exactly the April hubub is about.

A geth roommate?  That kind of crap makes Joker's robot fetishes start to sound like a good idea!

Garrus as a roomate?  Maybe, but not likely.  A random Geth unit?  You will find my trust is not so easily owned...

Hmmmm, yes. I never could trust Geth completely. Wasn't comfortable with Legion either. But I did consider them necessary, to fight against Reapers, even as I hesitated, as they were synthetic and easily indoctrinated.
Quarians first.

Honestly, they don't even need the voices - just very good music and cinematics. The end to Mass Effect 2 didn't have any dialogue and it worked. They could show Shep building a house or something on Rannoch easily (And other stuff of course, but this is just the Tali romance part).

I dunno...it would feel kinda sad to see that Tali's last lines in the game are, "I want...more...time."

Since it's the ending, I think it should end with a epic conclusion.  As good as it can get.

That's not exactly the association a group wants, but I saw that a while ago and it was hilarious.

Meh - I think if she was shown all happy on Rannoch with Shep and maybe Kal Reager building a house next door, that would be cute enough for my heart to be all warm and not cold and shriveled like the actual ending did.

It's quite odd for me coming into the Tali thread these days - it's like the thread grows 15+ pages a day and I never know what the hell the topic's gonna be when I come in.

EDIT: An oldie, but a goodie:

As heart wrenching as that conversation was, there's a significant amount of beauty in something that can make you feel so emotionally invested in something of fiction. I was impressed, to say the least.

Agreed. I can't even play Mass Effect 2 anymore. And I'm too scared to pick up Mass Effect 1, since it was my favorite...
Can barely play multiplayer...

Which is why we hold the line.
Second only to Tali.

I can play 1 and 2, and even 3 up to a point just shy of where I am now...and that's about it. and I'm still holding the line, although it's tough some days. But I must do it for Tali, for Shepard, for anyone who has become emotionally invested in the series. and it's nice to know that I'm not alone in this fight against the endings.

Yeah I'm very curious as to what they have in store for us. Hopefully it'll at least give some closure. Cheers.

I know.  I feel the same way.  That's kinda why I came here.  To mend my heart and get better.

And whatever happens in April...

The fact that you said Keelah Se'lai just made me more sad. Seeing as it's "for the homeworld I hope to see some day"... Pretty much no chance of that happening with the given ending. :crying:

The reaction wouldn't have bee nso drastic from the fans if the series didn't get players involved as much as it did.
Look at me for example, I never go in forums. Yet, here I am in the Tali'Zorah thread. Very powerful game, indeed...

Everything involving the Tali/romance (and just about everything else) dialogue is this story was so vastly improved over the previous games... which is why it's so crushing to many when the ending was as bleak as it was.

You can even make it personal by referencing "the homeworld" to your own world you were going to build with Tali... until the endings hit.
Which is why we fight!

That and a good ending is teased SO many times in ME3.

Garrus: "We can relax on a beach with all the money we make from the vids"
Tali: "Build a house on the homeworld"
etc, etc, ect.
