In other news, and on subject of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, the photoshopped pic really didn't clear up the skin issue. What's your (anyone) take on Tali's skin? What color is it? is it scaly? or latex-y? What do you guys think?

They probably did it so that people who wouldn't be able to see her could tell what colour she was. If nobody could tell anything about what I looked like, the least I'd want is people to know what colour I am. But that raises the question, is Kal Reegar red?

It's possible. I've been attached to someone similar for over 5 years now, she only lacks the accent and mechanical ability (which she is being taught, slowly, by yours truly).

And speaking of blue, I always thought it would be interesting if her skin has sort of a blue shade to it, kuz blue has always seemed to be the mysterious color...

Yeah, as it stands, the canon representation of Tali is skin equivalent to that of humans.

On a side note, do you think that Quarians would vary in skin color as we do?

Alright, I confess that I forgot those parts. The figure and the selfless personality, though, minus the strangely shaped tibiae and three digits, is there. Probably the reason I like Tali as a character so much is both a reflection of these traits of my actual mate and my own affinity for mechanical/technical things.
