the awesome thing about Fan arts you get all different types of interpations... and some the scenories  this artist draws are absolutely hilarous.

*leaves tip*

Thanks for the drink. ^_^

The awesome thing about Tali'Zorah fan art is that 25 percent at least tops the Bioware face picture and 90 percent is more original an idea than that. I keep getting the feeling they never wanted her to matter. They accidentially made her the cutest girl of the universe, and they never got to terms with it that it beat their poster child, Liara, and that their other poster child, Ashley, basically flopped in the eyes of fans. I believe the writers and developers showed some flexibility, but not enough for those very flexible times, the internet makes it to highly volatile a surrounding.

yeah, I get that feeling too,  I don't have a problem with the face picture its good start but it was hastly thrown together... it needs more refinement. There natural face markings are nice touch, hair  could cut short. The model they used was... spot on.   Ash would have been better but...work with what you got .

Hehe...last sentence would befit Doc! Very nice. Also: Did have Ash. Would've acted for Tali any time. Ash Sroka is actress after all. Talented. Came up with the accent by herself. Want Ash for Tali. First pick. And second and third. Then we talk.

Preferably not while unpacking, but sure, that's what it's there for.

Oh, and to chip in on the skin color issue - she's wearing a mask that filters light, at least, and the rest of her skin is covered completely. For a human, that would make her white as snow. And the purple of her mask, would it not filter the red and blue light spectrum out? Her having purple skin never really occured to me. A slight tone, maybe. But all in all I see her as white as a goth loli.

Oh of course not, I'm responsible :P And that's a good point on the skin colour, while I always knew that it was filtered light, I just got used to the mindset that she should be purple. Pale, but still purple.

I agree, it does seem like Tali was originally an insignificant plot device, thank Keelah everyone loved her, I couldn't connect to any of the other female characters at all, would have made romancing a pretty mundane task in the game.

It's probably because of the violet visor. Anyway, the writers defined Quarians as the most human like looking, so I go with pale white, dark brown hair, like Ash, glowing eyes, the markings are nice, could even be more accentuated, if it's a genetic feature it would make them individual. And a tendency to blush very quickly. And you better be responsible, Quarians cannot handle puking, not with that mask and all!

I dunno, first game, Liara was a nice gal, and rather cute. I liked her. And romanced her the first time around. Ashley...never appealed to me. Not really. She was (killed her) a fighter type, combat soldier to the core, determined, focused. Definitely worthy an opponent, definitely an asset worth having. But too...inflexible for the modern universe, where diplomacy is much more important than field skills in the long run. Plus, Shepard as a tactical fighter needs assets with biotics or tech damage to draw fire and distract while he picks off his targets. The MP vanguard is my nemesis - I hate them for their intactical full frontal assaults on open field. Anyway, if Tali had been a romance option in ME1, I would've picked her over Liara anytime. When she became one in ME2 - well. They also introduced Jack, and she's just a FUN girl to have around, totally my mindset in many ways. LOVED her input every time. And she's trouble. Those girls are never boring. Anyway, Jack narrowly took second place, Tali became first place - which is lucky since all Jackmancers were screwed over, after all - and Liara dropped to third.

Blimey is bar is practically open 24/7 it seems, and always busy. Alas, work break is never that long, but it's let me catch up. Interesting times.

I agree about Jack, but she only manages third for me - Liara's development across the 3 games holds her second for me, though still a long distance away from Tali at the top.

New? I finally mentioed that I believe her to be white-skinned, other than that, we still believe she was thought to be insignificant by the writers and it showed to the end that they disagreed with our judgment abour her. And I'm cleaning the bar to the 7th Symphony of Beethoven.

Hehe. You show, scotsman. Anyway, I have managed to get some place holders on the American side for some times of the day. My time here will be significantly reduced come next week, anyway.

Well, not that I have a large or even middle experience field with women - barkeeps seldom have, especially not this one, who rivals Moe Szyzlak in some ways - but the troublesome girls have always been the most fun. And the most reliable and honest. Liara and Tali speak their mind, too, espeically Tali - but I never met one of those that wasn't a social nutcase.

Also the feeling I got from their conversations and especially that very last one, which is why I liked the romance so much in this game. They don't even need to say anything, they just know what/how the other's feeling. I haven't been able to try the other romances yet, is it the same for Shep and his/her other LIs?

Always good to have multiple staff, though two Geth units would most likely be able to run everything in the background without problems.

Troublesome girls are indeed fun, but I often find them to also be largely troublesome as it were - the quieter ones I've often found are either quiet for a reason, or only quiet in public.

Both are pleasant. After all, Tali pounces.

Indeed.  May consider considering inviting other crew members from the normandy to reside in Tali's house.  Yes, that's right, I'm giving Tali the deed to the house, out of respect for her, her homeworld and what she has done for me.

Let's see here, im probably gonna need a pilot to get me places, so ill see if I can pull some strings and get a hold of the normandy SR-2 and joker.  I hope that Rannoch is the exception to the 'no landing rule'.  I think ill invite Liara so she can keep a eye out for those batarians and give me a tactical edge.  Then I'll need Garrus to do a variety of calibrations for me, and James to do some promotional stuff to make money, such as pose as a body builder on Rannoch's fine beaches or participate in some Unreal Tournament matches.  Dunno about Javik and Ashley, but that's what the guest quarters are for, visitors.  Zaheed is always looking for money, so I could hire him for security, same for james if he's out of a job.  I don't mind Kasumi stopping by, but she cannot use her cloak and she will ALWAYS have a security escort at all times; she wouldn't hesitate to steal from me if she had the chance.  But yeah, that's it.  Anyone else I didn't mention are either merely visitors, or dead.

Sure it's her house, what else would it be? Well, she'd probably insist on joint ownership. She's a very modern woman, even for the Quarians she was lightyears ahead in her galactic view.

Lots of space stations around Rannoch. Dock there, take shuttle. Liara will most likely want to rebuilt Thessia, also very likely to be next council for Asari. Possibly hooking up with Javik. That would be weird blue children, right there. And a fun family visit. Garrus, of course, would be called upon by Palaven, but I believe he'll truly retire with Shepard, get himself a Quarian admiral and settle next doof. James will go to the N7 program, and become an agent in the field, occasionally visiting, talking about the loco times, and getting some advice. Zaeed will most likely retire, as well, and rebuilt Earth, wiping out last pockets of mutants, that kinda thing. Kasumi...better leave her on video contact. However, one hug after the battle at the bar, definitely. And the Krogan are...busy, anyway. Tali will probably insist on taking in orphans, since a good part of the Quarian fleet must have suffered significant losses, and there's never a shortance of orphans after war, anyway. Would need the doc to see if there's a possibility to procreate with Quarians in any way. Other than that, couple human, couple quarian orphans for a family. Indoor water park.

He basically mocks Liara's conversation skills, he has to get through several defensive protocols to get through Jack, he has to take Ashley as she is - which I find impossible - and the rest, well, not experienced with that, either.

If a Geth volunteer can be found. They have been slaves, and masters. We should make them equals.

Not doubting that the quiet girls have normally deep reasons for that. Then again, there are, to my experience, really, really stupid girls around, and luckily about NONE of the LIs in the games fits that bill. They all represent a basic top of their kind. There is no, I repeat, NO Quarian better fit for a potential ambassador, or even council, than Tali, who could probably rebuild the Normandy's Mass Effect core from scratch by now, too. Liara is the most intelligent, if still a bit inexperienced, Asari out there, and has a very refined morale compass. Miranda - genetically altered woman with large personal flaws that she ignores, a feature very prominent around humans. jack is bat**** crazy and a child prodigy - also a strong feature amongst humans. And that goes for the male LIs, too. Garrus - proud example of a proud race, that man is. And the Canadian biotic Kaidan who keeps his implants for the greater kick-in.

And that Tali is how she is - that makes her so wonderful. She's not quiet. She's a bit shy, but always direct and truthful. Sometimes she's cocky, most of the time she's open about her opinion, and she doesn't take **** from people who fail to see the big picture. Not easy to trust, but when she does, goes all the way down to the core. She's a very modern woman, very independent, and thus a perfect match for Shepard, who's used to having to handle things by himself and some reliable companions, who must be able to watch out for themselves, though.

The one thing that my Shepard and  Tali are going to do is get out Galactic Politics... the Reaper war is enough for them. They are going start living for themselves and instead of fighting for the future they going to start building.

My endings  for them plays to this Marching On by One Republic

Its starts with a shot of their house but a pans out to see many  Quarians and Geth building something bigger.   The Alliance to better train its future soliders expanded Grissom Acdemy... now other students will study  and train off world  the other various races.  On the Rannoch Shepard, Tali and Garrus are going to run the site for  Engineering and field training... Rannoch as  nice rugged terrain for it.   We see David Archer and other students  talking with a Geth and Quarian Engineers,  Jack and her new class of students land ina  shuttle with  Nathaniel Shepard and Garrus waiting to take them out in the field.. Tail comes out  two young children one quarian and one human both orphans of the war.   Tali comes up behind  him draps herself over his shoulder  as Jack walks up making a comment about those  two. While the two  children  excited say.. "Aunty Jack" .  Garrus makes a comment about  the kids calling her "Aunty" Jack is about to give him ear full but Tali give that stern look of"Not infront of kids or else..."

Shepard chuckles  with a soft smile leaving a small kiss on  forehead. Tali still has to wear a breathing mask but not a full helmet all the time   she is still wearing her hood.   Garrus mandibles twitch looking at the new crop of students to which he comments  "lets teach rookies how  we did in our day.."   Shepard laughs and tells they're no that old yeah.  As Jack, Shepard and Garrus gather supplies before heading out.    Adrimal Hackett walks comes out of th building behind  Tali,  picking up on of  the young  orphans.   He tells "That he thought he never see the day where Nathaniel would settle down."    Tali tells he should he deserves it, he changed the  Galaxy to which  Hackett repleis "Only because you changed him, you showed what he could be, you gave him something to fight for and never sell yourself short on that... now I believe some of your students need you."   he points over David Archer and one of the  Quarian Engineers working on something.  Tali smiles, understanding what he means and heads over to assist.

The Screen closes out with Tali voice ove: " When  I started my  Pilgrimage ,  Home was not place,  it was just a dream, distant memory  of place I have never seen.  I did not understand  then but now I do., a home is not just a planet or a house..its  something  more... is place were build your future. Its not just rock, steel, and woods.   Its friendship, hope and most of love...I get it now.  We have lost some much because this war,  so much we can regain.   When Legion told that the Geth "Seek to be build there own future free of the Old Machines.", The Reapers,  I could not really understand it  was saying.  Now, I think  I do -   The Reapers represent more than cycle of exstinction. They represent the cycle of  hate and old wars - but we free of that now... free to build our own future what ever it may be.   It will be ours to build and to discover."

Pan out to  showing  planet and the galaxy..  Credits rolll showing stills of the Different races rebuilding together and of  crew celebrating and going  to various memorials for the fallen(mainly Anderson.)   Credits end.. a big  splash page of a artist rendition of the entire cast from ME 1, 2, and 3  with The End.

Thats is my ending.

Nope, nothing new.  If any major news is gonna hit soon, its gonna be 2 weeks and a day from now during Pax east.  But until then, we can only hold the line and hope that Tali gets more time.

I've been thinking about making another Shepard; a similar one I started out with on my very first playthrough(Soldier, neutral good), but better (More involvement with crew, paragon, exc.).  If they do announce a better ending at PAX, I might just think about it.  That way, I can 'time travel', get involved more with my crew and have a better ending than before.  Oh, and yes, Tali will still be my main love interest.  I never felt compelled to make ties with anyone else; they just don't have what Tali has.

What if Tali won't get her deserved time?
Would be the trilogy killer for me. :crying:

Currently i'm not thinking of playing the trilogy any time soon... because of the downer at the end.
I respect you for your optimism.

I am so with you, among with hundreds of thousands of other people.
After Tali asked for more time, then you hit the ending, it is a rude slap to the face.
That made that line gut wrenching.

If the worse case senerio were to happen?  Then it would be a total joke on me, especially since I got the collectors edition.  I may not even play the Mass Effect series again if that happened.  But so long as we don't faulter in delivering our message, we may just yet see a bright future.

I have not played Mass Effect 3 again on any other character ever since I saw the ending.  I feel like I have a incomplete game.  Multiplayer is fun, but there's only so much fun it has.

Since I have first floated over, then fallen through the MP map, here you go. What the hell is with these servers during American sleeping times...I feel bad, though. Can't help my crew. First game I was narrowly third of three 40+k hitters, now I'm stuck at 12k, since I'm stuck somewhere on the map and can't move.

No changes to the ending as of yet. Still have to presume galatic genocide and Tali stranded on non-dextro planet. Still have to presume we have to change it ourselves.

Well the Ash stuff I've seen seems a lot of having to put up with her BS trust issues.  Liara I've not done, considering doing a playthrough.  I romanced Jack on a ME2 playthrough and she is very much a damaged woman.  A lot of it is getting through her defenses.  Miranda was kind of weird and seemed like more of a hook up, dunno about ME3.
