Tali'Zorah ME3 Thread *MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!*

The Quotes she says are not to make her a sidekick, they were homages to an older BioWare game, they were for fun and really a nod to long term fans of BioWare games. I am not sure how you can make that an argument she is insignificant.
Of course her personality changes, well shifts, she is considered an adult now and a contributor to the flotilla, she is still vulnerable and insecure though. She is still Tali from ME1, just with more experience, she did help stop Saren and Sovereign after all. Overall her evolution as a character is quite well done, same for Garrus... and even Joker as well. They all change and evolve from what they were initially, sometimes in ways we had not expected.
Again she may not have been an LI initially, but she was significant, and her role has expended making her one of the more pivotal personalities in the Galaxy.

The same, I enjoy it too, it is one of my favorite parts of the romance.Cro730 wrote...
^ I loved seeing her character develop, whether it was intentional or unintentional. It worked out perfectly, everything from getting to know her in 1 then romancing in 2, to watching her become more independent and stronger over the course of the games.

My thoughts exactly. I enjoyed how possesive she got over Shepard though at times. Like the dreadnought for example, quite a few mini cat fights there.

But in between came the ending and this forum. This thread with so many veterans of the Tali Romance movement. And the endings, that - for me, again, my own personal opinion, IMHO, not to be generalized in any way - are horribly bad writing. You could break a leg in those plotholes. Before that, I was taken in, game, totally advertising for Mass Effect as a series, planning on getting fan articles. Now...my perception has become much more critical, and maybe that's why I believe now that Tali was an accidential superstar.
Nevertheless, she is a superstar now, and she will stay it.
And I do honour the writers for having her developed as it is. I loved her from day one - mainly because of the voice, and her behaviour. But I loved her more and more the more I played ME2, and in ME3 she was totally an equal to Shepard, which is the only way it could work out, anyway. I never said Bioware had bad writers, we can all agree they have some of the top of the line minds in their storytelling and dialogue creation. They're the poster child of good writing in games. Which is why the endings are so...illogical for me, so hard to understand.
And yeah, Yahtzee ain't ideal. But he is FUN, and that's something I can really dig in games reviews. Plus, he's a barkeep. Actually, a bar owner. So - solidarity?

@madayar, you mentioned armor for quarians, Tali specifically? How do you get that?
edit:

- oh, another thing that reminds me, the lack of Quarian armor in the game, that was also something that basically stopped me from bringing her until I finally found some upgrades, but then again, perception.

It is scarce but she had ridiculously high shields too if you leveled her right anyways.XenoAlbedo wrote...

Correeeeect, but that one expansion, you know, the one with the asteroid - you can ask for armor there and get a high-level colossus. That is one fine armor, packs my quarian nice and tight!

I'm another one of those lurkers, been reading this thread for a couple weeks now, ever since I beat ME3 and found that there was a gaping Tali-sized hole in my heart that needed very desperately to be filled. I'm a good 50 pages behind in this thread right now, but I wanted to thank you all for helping me pick myself up after the Space Magic happened. It feels good to be among fellow Talimancers. =)
*nod* That's what we're here for. Feel free to enjoy some fine drinks from Mad's bar as well. I'll be in my favorite lounge chair.

Huh. Now that was weird. Did I miss
something? DoS attack or something? Well, they got it fixed remarkably
fast. Kudos, Bioware, you're getting some love back from me. I love this
thread too much, it helped me. Talimancers are an overall great bunch -
I hate forums, this is the first one I actually like.

Yeah I just finished a MP match and came back to check on the thread. Got an error and wondered what happened to the site but I'm glad it's fixed. and yeah this thread has helped me immensely, it's constantly refreshed every time I'm on the computer. It's like a home away from home.
Also, this is strange but I had an urge to draw last night...I never get those kinds of urges, ever. So I decided to sketch Tali. I'm terrible at it though so I had a bit of help from this pic:
Took about 10-20 minutes and it came out somewhat decent for a first try I'd say(considering I never draw, ever

Unless I missed it completely, Veetor never appeared in any of the Tali/Rannoch missions....
I wonder what ever happened to that poor kid:?

True dat. It helped me over the endings, seeing so many Talimancers in pain as well. Wish I had more MP buddies here, just so one could, like, train how to kill on silver level. My snipers get too often killed by very incompetent players on bronze already.
Yeah, would like to see it. A drell take on Tali?

Killed by reapers, according to Doc. There must have been a message. Didn't see it in my game. So maybe a datapad thing.

I search whenever I hit the top of the page again. It seems to be a tradition to post a pic when you hit that.

Poor guy.
Mass Effect: Jonah's Story.
He will grow up to be Quarian Batman, somehow this makes sense.

Weird...
No reference to it on the wiki, or anywhere else I can think of for that matter....
Curious .....
