Indeed, if nothing else it's a cautionary tale. I'm just going to regard the ME3 ending as indoc theory even if proven otherwise, unless a happy ending comes along, as then I can easily see all the companions pooling their resources, taking over Cerberus, and having Miranda go all Lazarus project on you again.
If it took the Reapers hundreds of years to wipe out the Prothean Empire, which Javik acknowledges as weakened by their singular tactic, then think how long it would take to wipe out all the races, utterly unified.
More than enough time for a 2 year Lazarus project.
I'm still pleased Bioware made the Mass Effect universe, as with the rich detail it has and the depth of the characters in the game it's easy to disregard the official ending and make your own.
Regardless, till any announcement at Pax I'll keep holding the line.
True. There's some powerful knowledge wanting Shepard back. Tali's engineering skills could create and power the base alone. Liara's knowledge and sources might rally the best scientists still reachable. Miranda already knows how to rebuild him and has maybe files still stored - if not, Jack's hack of the Cerberus files might have turned something up. The Geth would probably rally to help Shepard, as well, since he was the one freeing him. Most likely the whole Crucible building team is close to earth - and the twitching body in the ruins of London, which one ending seems to produce, indicates that this time the explosion of the Relays didn't wipe out all systems. Also, how can we rebuild those...I mean, quickly. We must, we must get the fleets home. Oh, I wish just one check-up by com to Hackett would have occured - warning the fleet, making them retreat immediately to their home systems before the relays blow, that alone would save hundreds of thousands, right?

It is a shame that no skin was shown to the players regarding Tali, but when you think about it, it's her personality that makes the majority of her, not the flesh unlike some romances. I did enjoy the dialog between the two of them, it seemed so fitting. Perhaps though, the ending may show us what she truly looks like under the mask, or suit, especially if you made peace between the geth and quarians.

Your right. They won't change the ending. They'll add onto it. The indoctrination theory probably has a high chance of becoming true. What do they mean by 'add onto it'? Beats me. But I sure hope there's a epic final boss battle, fallowed by some nice closure, especially with that house...be nice if it was similar to Mass Effect 2, where you could still go around the house doing stuff with both Tali and the environment.

They say they'll add to it. Which means I don't believe a thing. I have no idea what the next DLC will be, because how would they ever fill those plotholes? I can't imagine ANYTHING there. Anything. And how do you fix that you don't see your LI in the flashback, but only Liara? It's kinda like Bioware saying: Nah, nah, you picked the wrong one! And that cheap "now buy DLC" add at the end...ugh.
You want skin, you pick Liara. You want personality and love, you pick Tali. Tali's too good to be spoiled by petty softcore.
It's ridiculous. They say they were surprised by our reaction. They have obviously lost it. Literally. "LOST" it.
Well, somebody take over the bar. Gonna go some RL stuff.

And the great thing about Tali is that you didn't get to see her so you got to focus more on her character.

Anyone else like her From Ashes DLC suit? Made it look more combat then ceremonial like the other ones were.
Well, its unique, for sure. Although I kinda like the gold-trimmed version of her suit for some reason.

I would say a boss battle at the end would be nice. More keeping to RPG tradition, but I'm also one for changing up tradition. I don't think people would be so upset about the endings if they didn't make them so final. (An ironic statement I know.) Adding on to the story is a better idea in my opinion.

A boss battle would have been great and battle mirror after the Battle with Saren at end of ME 1. Part 1 would be a puzzle like Battle with Harbinger using the all the war assest you aquired. Once Harbinger is wounded badly, the Normandy comes and picks the crew up and they head for the Citadel, some random battles with suped up verison of regular enemies. TIM shows up, convo with time, TIM gets wounded, convo with the Catalyst... Shepard rejects the Catalyst logic with epic "World of cardboard Speech." A wounded Harbinger poscoess TIM's Body , Part 2 of the fight begins. That battle ends- Shepard and the party a exhuausted but are still standing . The Catalyst startes sending wave and wave enemies but the parrty keeps fighting. Then the Normandy shows up with there other characters from other games, Jack, Miranda, Samara, Ashley/Kaiden, James, all of them the join the fight. This is when Loyality and EMS comes into play... the higher the better chance for survival. If you were able to sway TIM ... his dying words would ...
'They will never stop fighting, if you kill them, there will be others and more.. They know that, Shepard knows that's, s/he is not fighting for just there own survivial but the future, a future willing to die for.. I sold my soul, just to get this far... we'll ...never ..stop." The Catalyst stops the onslaught, depending on EMS depends on how many people are alive or dead. The Catalyst then offeres its solutions but with a High enough EMS and most of the cast alive. Shepard can reject and point outside... to show that they are not only holding their own but turning the tide. Then The Catalyst for the first time in eons pauses and thinks... and ask why? Now for dialogue with choices high enough EMS and influence you can explain the Catalyst why its wrong and it will see that its solution is the cause of the problem convince it to leave or finish the fight and destroy it.
This how the ending game should have played out.

Also I heard that she uses her knife somewhere in the game. When is that?
If you side with the quarian's on Rannoch and reject Legion's uploading of the data.

I could get behind that. My friends and I all liked the ending, but still felt they seemed... rushed.
Here's looking forward to April.

You only have to record some seconds ingame material which shows Tali, add it to the video files and add a function that checks the romance variable.

My first play through it seemed like they brought it back around to the protagonist. Sure Shep goes and does all these things that brings the galaxy together, but in the end it came down to him to make the 'hard' decision. I chose synthesis because it meant the geth could still life and help the quarains. So just from my cannon shep it made sense. Bitter sweet indeed.

The endings aren't "sweet" at all. Just bitter.
We need to get back on topic.

This unit also chose that colored ending on its insanity walkthrough. This unit acknowledges that our organic split personality essentially said to himself:
"I just preserved the galaxy for a new day, giving up my insanity and in it my life to help everyone..."
This unit felt actually accomplished.
And Creator Zorah could live peacefully in what you organics call "the great beyond"...

That Shepard is a MONSTER.
That scene still sends chills down my spine. I would have to throttle the souless monster who would allow this tragedy to happen. There is no reason to continue fighting if there is no Tali to fight for.

I would have jumped after her in hopes of catching her mid-air for a hug.
Then again, this would NEVER happen in my game. Never. Ever.
