Hmm, I think I was the one who first made that connection back around page 300-something or thereabouts.

Not that I thought it was a shout-out; people were just complaining about the nickname and I just said that being linked to the Concordia's best fighter tech wasn't so bad.

Also, I'm jealous of people with Tali dreams. I rarely remember my dreams, and when I do remember them, they're typically an incoherent mess. Narrative structure doesn't appear to be my subconscious's strong point.

Narrative dreams are totally common for me these days. Always wanted to remember my dreams - and I still can. I also have many nightmares. Well, my normal dreams are nightmares to most. Shooting yourself through Reaper and zombie hordes is not even nightmare material anymore. I seldom dream of Tali, either. But I keep those dreams.

lmao.... somehow, I suspected as much (and it shows that BW never intended to reveal her face at all, but changed their mind at the last minute and gave us the nightstand pic).

Well.... here's hoping they do show her actual face as an in-game model for any future DLC packs.

Actually...I hope they don't. Would delay, and they won't use Ash Sroka, so everybody else would only be second best. I do not need her without the mask. I just need her. You know, her gesture, her voice, her genuinely seeming feelings. She's just full of her own space magic, she's more inexplicable than dark matter, especially since she's also cute and charming, which dark matter really lacks. And I love how her suit seems...cuddly sometimes, you know, arms and all. As if she was still soft to touch no matter what. I always feel bad when she hugs my Shepard while he's in full combat suit, that's like hugging a tea set.

Guys and very select gals, I found this fan suggestions for a Mass Effect movie cast.

My trouble with the Tali one is that Ash Sroka is not included, who would basically volunteer for it.

Some of the other casts, however, make me DROOL. That would be so GREAT...

If BW never intended to show her face, I'd agree with that, but the fact is BW DID decide to show us her face.... only in the most roundabout, poorly-handled afterthought of a concept that I've seen in a while. For me, it's pretty clear that they never intended to show the fans her face, but at the last second, they decided otherwise and instead of creating an in-game model for Shepard and us to see (which would've been the most ideal), they gave us a half-assed photoshop'd pic that has incorrect anatomy issues (her hand/fingers) and could've been easily altered and improved by a first-year design student in college. 

Note that I'm not saying that I hate her official face.... I actually quite like it and thinks it fits Tali very well.
I'm saying that I hate the execution of her face's reveal as it currently exists in the game.

I watched it out of curiosity at the beginning of the month. It's an emotionally charged scene, and a powerful one at that. Witnessing the genocide of your people, then to hear distress calls from your homeship as it falls from orbit...

Everyone I know IRL that has gotten that far chose that path. Their reasoning was that Han is a dick and Legion is awesome.

As much as I like Legion, his dialogue in the pro-geth ending sucks compared to the pro-quarian peace ending. In that one you can actually hear emotions. 

But Han'Gerrel is definitely a dick.  Still not worth killing the Quarians over, though.

How do you beat the game if you kill the quarians? Don't you just get a Critical Mission Failure screen right after that scene?

I second that, sounds like some real reevaluation should take place about whom you call friends. Not only for Tali. Dooming 17 million people due to one, that is really not worth it. Han'Gerrel...I wish there would've been the option to shoot him on the Normandy. I'm so glad I could make peace between Geth and Quarians. Because I of course always was a mediator, always helped both Legion and Tali, always was for peace between them, anyhow. Yes, I like Legion. Yes, I love Tali. No, I would not choose one over the other if both is possible.

At least you can punch Gerrel after the mission with the Geth ship.
