Tali is the reason I want to go to space.
Here's to hoping there are some Prothean ruins on Mars when we get there.
99% of us will probably be dead before we get serious with space travel. Amazing, isn't it? Many years ago, space travel was the cheese. We kept racing against each other, trying to see who would get to the moon first, who would make the most space trips, exc. Everyone had a few mishaps, and some countries overtook others, but if you ask me, the brave men and women who risked their lives to go to space gave us all rewards that were well worth the risk. We knew more about the risks of space, invented some gadgets, and advanced our technology a bit.
Now? We're going
BACKWARDS with space travel, not forward like we should be. We're back to bickering with governments, arguing over territories, worrying about debts and taxes, retiring space shuttles and bombing ourselves with a political ****storm that's making us forget about the future. It sickens me.
Maybe someday, we'll truly explore the milky way galaxy and find other intelligent life out there. Heck, we might even find the ones we truly love, such as Commander Shepard, a human, making room in his heart for Tali, a quarian. But when you think about it, it would just mean a new toliet to dump your doo-doo in, because you know how bad other organics can treat each other in the galaxy.
Until then...Here's to our future; may we find marvelous treasures and adapt to dangers that freeze our blood. *Toast*
And back on topic, Here's to Tali, the quarian angel that has made a loving impact in many of our lives.
