Ok, im sorry.  I was hoping you wouldn't have such a image made in your mind.  Nothing bad happened to Tali, Shepard got the facehugger off her with a heavy melee attack before it could do any real damage.  Here, have a hug, it'll make you feel better:

Pretty sure that nuke blast manages to only kill baddies. That's because it's powered by space magic, obviously.
