I made my own version of Tali, which I like but probably isn't popular.

I like her third suit best. Looks more commando.

Who else thinks Tali's alternate gold and black costume is badass? Though I do get confused between her and Nemesis since they have the same colours.

It is totally bad ass. Although I like all her constumes. I prefer the default where she has cut scenes though.

and Mad, got any whisky besides scotch? Could use a glass after reading some more ignorant critic reviews about the fans being wrong over the endings. <_<

Also, what if Tali was knocking at the door or walks up to you right now? Assuming you're in the ME universe. I'd probably pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming then spaz out. :o

Stop reading that nonsense. They never cared for the game. They're critics, it's their job not to care.

Got a canadian here...Crown Royal?

I would politely ask her in cause she'd rather cause a fuss and would provoke the fuzz in that suit. Then, dunno. Find out why she's here. Offer water with emergency induction port. Get her home to Rannoch.

Night!

I’m new here, and I’m not sure where this thread has been, so I may be restating things. There are nearly 1000 posts – more than I can read through in a sitting.

But…

I’m very impressed with how Tali is realized in all of the ME series, but I especially like her in ME3. I haven’t played through any other LIs, so I don’t really know how those play out, but Tali seems real to me. Her relationship with Shepard is given depth, with a nod to what a good relationship can be.

Even from the first moment they meet again in ME3, there a sense of propriety in how they treat each other. It’s natural and warm, genuine and touching. I believe they are real and that they're in love. It’s in the simple things as well as the complex.

The nearest other character next to Tali is Liara, in my view. Somehow, though, I feel closer to Tali. Not sure why, really. Perhaps because she is as sweet as she is tough, and that she has what some would think is an insurmountable obstacle standing between her and Shepard – her suit and the reason she must wear it.

So, it was supremely satisfying for me to play through the Quarian/Geth end story. The proscribed ending notwithstanding, soon she will no longer require the suit, and her life-long dream will be realized. And who better to spend it with than Shepard. In my opinion (and my perfect version of the ending), of course.

Pretty much. It's still annoying but I guess I ask for it every time...need to stop doing that. and that's fine. *pours a glass*

and true, I mean I don't think I'd spaz out but I'd be pleasantly surprised for sure.

But take care, hold the line. Keelah Se'lai!

Until the endings are fixed (to give us our Rannoch house), all I have to do is draw because replaying ME is really hard. I've been workin on this for the last couple days, but I'm still a novice, so I'm gladly accepting criticism :D

Sadly, no waist down.

Hey quarianHorse and welcome to the thread. We actually go over old ground a lot (so I've seen, and I've only been here a couple of weeks myself), but there is always somethign new to add. Plus no one is going to complain about anything (positive) Tali related.

It's incredibly hard to play through with any other LI once you've been with Tali, so I suggest checking Youtube if your curious. Some are better then others (spare some sympathy for FemSheps). Liara's is the longest as she has LI stuff going on from 1-3 (if you have the appropriate DLC for ME2), but Tali does have a particularly enganging romance. I would say the best, but I'm biased. The fact that you can't romance her in 1 but you can romance her as a squadmate in 2 and 3 means that your relationship with her progresses in parallel to her own development and that works rather well.

So, I just completed a second run through.... I planned to stop short of the ending, but then I had to get the last chat with Tali and then... Well second time through with a 5k+ score you get a special secret ending....

Sadly it's exactly the same as all the other endings. I think maybe one pixel moved slightly to the left. Funny thing is though, I noticed that when returned to the Normandy after the stargazer scene, Tali is (still) in the bar, drinking away through her emergency induction port. Heh. She had the right idea about dealing with the ending, obviously.

Curiously, I remember hearing pre-release that Tali wasn't intended to be a permanent squadmate in 3, how credible is this? Because they sure as hell gave her a great role in 3, which makes me wonder if the aforementioned rumor was false?

I want to mention this for a fun conversation. When Tali is drunk she mentions that her father would hate Shepard; assuming you romance her. So lets assume things played out differently and both were alive and had time to meet. Aside from not being a quarian himself Shepard has helped her with her pilgrimage, saved her on numerous occasions, kept her out of exile, united the quarians and the geth, is ultimatly responsible for helping get their planet back, and treats his daughter love and care, oh and saved the galaxy; you know nothing big.

So my question is how many of you actually thinks that he would hate Shepard? I do not believe that her father could hate a guy that's done all that for his daughter and his people. Unless being a quarian is the only thing that matters to him; it would be really hard to hate a guy like that dating your daughter. lol

Again I know this can't really happen, just bringing it up for a fun topic. There's no right or wrong answers just curious to hear others opinions on it.

Tali was drunk and was exaggerating for effect anyways. Obviously he wouldn't hate Shepard. He just isn't as comfortable with his daughter being with a human as he is with her being with a quarian.

It's a dad thing. You never like the guys your daughter brings home.

I think it'd be more that her father would be concerned for her health knowing the risks she'd be taking by dating a human. Which is strange, because on the one hand (in ME2) Tali herself is concerned about those risks, even remarking that there's a chance such contact could kill her. But somewhere along the way she adapted to Shepard, problem solved. So then, if the quarians will eventually adapt to foreign contact, where's the worry? Is there something about the lore here that I'm missing?
