Being totally honest here, I simply cannot see women as objects of passion. I see them as normal people. It would also be cheating on tali if I thought about other females in a romantic way. I know I have problems, maybe this thread could become a "recovering from the emotionally crippling effects of an insidious and engaging video game from which there is no true escape"? I'm sad now. Need a tali hug.

The issue of Tali and Shep reproducing is a very old one and a very complicated one. The only real option they would have would be a Miranda-esque solution; Take one of the parent's DNA and modify it to contain similar traits as the other parent, without actually containing any of their material. However, cost, access to technological resources, and overall genetic viability would be extreme hurdles, not to mention the moral implications of genetic modification.
At the end of the day, adoption is really the ony feasible option.

In-game, I don't mind entering a 'virtual' relationship with a fictional character if I find that character appealing.

In real-life, it's a whole new game.  Not that I don't like those of the opposite sex, but when you think about it, the responsibilities, the financial needs, the personality compatabilities...it just doesn't work for me, period.  I will pass.  I will die single.  No children.  Just friends.  None of those 'friends with benefits' either, that doesn't cut it for me.

While Tali is not a 'real' character, she does resemble a personality, just how Tidus from FFX represents some of his people.  I am not necessicarily interested in the voice actor per se, but the personality of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy.

With all the money Shepard is certain to get, I can imagine he can just about choose whatever available options there are with having children.  Adoption, science, exc.  If its a option, and if it's something they both want, then it'll likely happen.

At this point, some of us are practically married to tali. And tali is not an appetizer. She is like a nine course meal containing flavours you never even thought existed. Tali is real in the same way that religion and gods are real. Neither are actual things, but all can have a profound impact. Like on delicate nerd brains.

I already have a girlfriend Is it ok if I tell her to cosplay as Tali for the entirety of our relationship? A female's perspective would be very helpful.

The odds of her agreeing to that are slim. If she doesn't accept, at best, she will giggle at you and think your wierd. At worse, she might slap you and get mad.

I have a wonderfully selective memory in regards to my Tali ending, which I alluded to in a previous post.

As I choose to recall, the end of Mass Effect 3 gets me to the point where Anderson and Shepard are leaning against a short wall, congratulating each other through bloodied teeth. Then Shepard gets up and fires the ancient weapon, resulting in a subspace transmission that destroys all of the reapers. Soon after that we see Tali and Shepard standing next to each other – she without an environment suit and Shepard in shorts and a t-shirt.

Two young Baby’Zorahs are playing with a model of the Normandy, making zippy and shwoosy sounds. The little boy looks up and asks,

“What did you do in the war, Daddy?”

“Well, that’s a long…”

Then a shuttle breaks the sound barrier and drops down a hundred meters from the scene. A battered Garrus jumps out and limps toward Shepard and Tali.

“Shepard,” he manages to wheeze.

“Garrus!” Shepard calls while running to support him. “What the hell happened?”

Garrus chuckles in his inimitable way, and says:

“We have a slight problem with the Krogans…”

Fade to credits.
