I have a fairly new, fairly powerful pc.  Yet with DAO and DAA I would occasionally get freezes.  I would have to exit out of the game and re-enter to continue play.  I could discern no pattern to the lockups.  I'm now on about my dozenth play thru of DA2 without a single lockup.  Excellent.    Of course, I've now jinxed myself and will probably get lockups.
