I want cat fights for my male Shep!

Let me tell you a common way this plays out.  GF (girlfriend) finds out about OW (other woman) and confronts her.  OW had no idea there was GF or was told GF had left.  OW trys to apologise and breaks down cryiong because she never wanted to be the ow.  GF comforts OW because it is not her fault; it is the Cheater's fault.  GF and OW join up to go against Cheater; maybe give them a taste of how it feels.

You would not believe how often this happens among gay/bi community.  Would. Not. Believe.  So your little cat fight might become Liara and Miranda running off to raise little blue daughters together.  Miranda can not have children on her own and besides, she will live half again as long as a normal human giving Liara more time with her mate..

I can imagine infidelity as a ticking timebomb waiting to off but that getting hurt makes you gay/lesbian? What the... Well what do I know?

Just another argument for not entering a serious relationship unless you know yourself... Everything else is just poor taste and kind of devalueing other peoples feelings.

While such situation didn't turn me into bi, I can explain how it works. You're depressed and think that all of males are the same and all they need is to get you in bed. Another girl sits nearby and as depressed as you are, says the same thing and - what a surprise - also thinks all males are bastards. So... this two girls already have something in common, both not in best psychical condition and both not so excited about the guys. The next step sounds pretty logical to me.

On topic: I seriously doubt "cheating" problem will be ME1 LI freaking out at Shepard - IMO it will be the ME2 LI who'll get disappointed in Shepard. Imagine someone as gentle as Tali - or as damaged as Jack - who'll suddenly find out that in ME1 Shepard was interested in another woman, possibly told her the samethings he told them before SM... and then give it all up at the first conflict. What chance, do you think, is for them thinking "That's because he met me, his only true love!" and what chance is for "He's just blown off steam and will blow it off with another person if I won't be near at that moment"?

Personally, I believe one of the best ones is going to be Kaidan vs Garrus. Jacob looked pretty pissed off if you leave him for Garrus.

Just imagine how well Kaidan would take it.

If Shepard has good persuation skills (s)he might be able to talk him/herself out of it, though. ;P

Well I figure Liara's already had it out with my Shepard over Tali so I'm not worried about that. Ashley can stay behind on Earth for all my other Shepard cares.

Funny part is I don't really see any of the FemShep romance options getting too heated over it besides a private conversation with Shepard. The women on the other hand all seem to have their own violent tendencies. I expect cat fights.

id prefer a good old fashion catfight then seeing romanceable NPCs hold grudges that could affect the mission at some point (and yes i expect the FemShep's options to act like its ok and have it blow up at the wrong time. Sheploo's options look like they might start with a fight and end up teaming up against Shep if he tried to keep them both)

I'd prefer they murder Shepard in his sleep.

That would be totes in character.

I still dont feel that i cheated on Ash in me2 since it seemed pretty clear to me after the meeting on horizon that the relationship was over. I wonder if this was deliberate writing on biowares part to make it more tempting to venture off into new relationships and set up some interesting dynamics in me3. In the grand scheme of things i think there's too much at stake for characters to get bogged down in relationship issues but bioware do keep bringing up that word - consequences.

Yeah, my character didn't "cheat" on Kaidan, either. Cheating is when the person actually stays with you, not when they leave and tell you you're on your own in life. If somebody wants you, they don't tell you off and then disappear and not contact you for ages except to say they were trying to move on. That's pretty much a solid "go to hell, we're over" signal in my book.

I had the same feeling as you on Horizon--this is over, he has no faith in my Shepard, she owes him no loyalty. And in my case, Thane was dying. Hard for Kaidan to be able to say, "You cruel biatch! You, uh, slept with a dying man before going on a suicide mission after I made it clear I have no faith in you and left you alone to pull off your whole vitally important saving the world AGAIN thing!"

Yeah, no. I respect their positions, in a way, and I guess it's romantic if Shep holds on even though his/her LI was a complete sod, but it's hard to think of either Ash or Kaidan as an ideal LI for Shepard after this. They would have to do some SERIOUS apologizing before I think I could consider either of them again. (I have a DudeShep as well.)

Granted, this does set up some delicious tension. That does intrigue me. Those are some consequences I could go for. Assuming Thane lives, I have to think Kaidan would be a little bit scared of the green guy...

My Renegade Shepard romanced Ashley in ME1 and saved her on Virmire for entirely selfish reasons, he then jumped Jack at the first opportunity*, followed by Miranda, he then proceeded to sucumb to Tali's charms after the supposed suicide mission, only to leave her to have Kelly dance for him.

The point of the previous pointlessness is; yes we have heard there will be consequences for cheating, but will there be different consequences for cheating as much as possible?.

EDIT: *I mean consentually.

I just hope whatever they do, it feels fair. No blaming Shepard for moving on after Horizon, only for excessive boning of everything that moves without regard for personal feelings. They should really have some kind of check for that sort of thing.

I like how there's blades and swords on the wall just as the guy is walking in, would take extra manly points to use persuasion to talk that guy down.

Also NO SANDALS IN THA BEDROOM!!

Kaidan is the one weak point of my female Shepard, never "betrayed" him... there was this mail after Horizon from him making her forget all the harsh words.
