Three NPCs from the previous games within 1 minute of walking distance.

I went into ME2 thinking "it'd sure be nice to see some familiar faces in this game"... and when I got to Illium they gave us familiar faces ad nauseaum. Conrad, Parasini and Shiala within one minute of walking. In a galaxy this big. At that point I was surprised if there wasn't one NPC from ME1 we WOULDN'T meet in the game.

I think it's easier for Bioware to do that, but I must admit I would love to find someone in a far planet while I'm using the mako a vehicle. Hidden characters! Hidden missions! Easter eggs! Things that are going to make me to play the game over and over again.

I agree with you. In fact I think there should be a Hidden character called The HiddenKING. That guy sounds like a badass.

Yeah, they really could have spread them out in a few other places. Don't forget the Asari Rachni representative...
