Am I the only one who wants to see more Thane and Kolyat moments more than with my Shepard? XD

Or better yet as one big happy family. Except for Kolyat...Kolyat is never happy.

I would settle for more Thane and Feron.

Kolyat and Shep, I don't see them seeing eye to eye for a very, very long time, if ever. Developing some unspoken understanding on one side and gruding respect on another, maybe, but not in a span of a year :P.

And agreed, I'd love to see some content with Kolyat, I like the sulky drell... though to be honest, I what really turned him into a likable character for me was a piece of fiction by ghost.713 and its companion piece. (Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained and The Hitman and the Clone, if you are curious).

A hillarious little snippet of Kolyat and Oriana by the author of the above fics!

Also, have a  Thane .gif!

I could see... well, Shepard's version of one big happy family, which means not being shot at or getting blown up. :?

I think war will mature Kolyat. If he learns what his father did to help the galaxy (and will continue to do, if we're lucky) he might start seeing things differently. I thought Kolyat reacted realistically, all things considered, but he's still young, and will gain perspective, hopefully.

Well, I do want a happy ending for my femsheps. Heading off into the desert for a few months (or years, if he is cured) with Thane sounds pretty darn good.

(My maleshep can take care of himself, thank you very much. He may also be suicidal - he romanced Jack.)

Now I just have to figure out what might be a good ending for the femshep that romanced Garrus....

How about finishing what he started on Omega? Garrus and Shep always seem happiest when capping some bad guys.

@ Platform 626: Good idea! Nothing says bonding like sniping bad guys from a bridge.

I don't mind seeing Kolyat in ME3. He and Thane still have a lot of issues to work out.
I don't know about one big happy family. It might take Kolyat a while. Shepard did hit him or shoot him. I don't know what his reaction will be when he learns about Shepard and Thane.

Well, you can also shoot his hostage, but i don't see how that would endear Shep to him, either :P.  As for finding out about his father and Shep... well...  Sulky teenager with abandomnet issues? No smooth ride there the way I see it.

No it would not endear him to Shepard. If you shoot Talid he's just shocked, and maybe scared.
It won't be a smooth ride, but it should be interesting to watch if they put it in the game.

First time poster to chime in my support for my favourite green frog man. Third time simply will not be the charm without our spiritual hitman.

Also as a side comment: I wish I could get a Thane profile picture. : /

I fully picture Kolyat walking into an intimate moment between femshep and Thane.  (Oh the horror for a drell teenager - the moment that can never be unseen...!)  Awkwardness ensues.

I figure that Kolyat's reaction could go one of two ways:

1) Daaaaaaddddd! What about mom?!  You bastard!  Is this what you've been doing the last ten years!  I hate you!

2) Dad!  Way to go!  Hot alien chick for the win! ... Does she have a sister?

Aheheheh. I think he is more likely to respond in the first manner, although if he does his research about Shepard and the things she has done, he might eventually start respecting her - maybe with a bit of a grudge, he is still young after all and rough around the edges.
But, like Garrus says "First the Reapers, now the Collectors. Remind me to never make you angry." So, Kolyat might even be a bit intimidated by the person his dad is with.

This suddenly brings to mind potentially awkward 'meet the parents' scenarios for poor Kolyat if he starts dating. 'Yes, honey, my father is a top-notch assassin, his girlfriend is... well, have you ever heard the name Shepard?'

Interesting dinner conversations abound.

See, one of the reasons I'm a Kolyat/Oriana fan is the other kind of awkward dinner conversations :P

Also, this:

Hahaha! This ff sounds fun!

I would really like to see some progression with Thane and Kolyat's relationship in ME3. But I would not like Kolyat to be a squaddie, or 'replace his father.' I don't think Thane would approve, and Kolyat doesn't have the skills or experience necessary, when compared with all the others on Shepards team.
