At least Thane's sunglasses were something I could overlook for a mission or two. What really annoyed me is Jack's eyepiece thingy. That was completely unnecessary.

I didn't like Jack's sunglasses either, but I really didn't like Thane's. It looked like he was having a midlife crisis.

Jack has beautiful eyes, I don't think they should ever be covered up. I don't like the piercings or glasses in Thane's AAP either, the outfit is okay but I prefer his canon look.

Well I hope that this is just a single picture and not a depiction of all the multiplayer to come. Because I want to be positive about it, but if I see a thousand clones of the same character running around in prism colors  - it;s going to look a lot less like fight for survival war ME3 and.....alot  more like Power rangers.

I think the sunglasses were bad on both Thane and Jack, I only ever use the AAP on Jack because I prefer that she wear more than a couple of belts. I find all of Thanes AAP to be inferior to his original looks and I could never cover his eyes, it's where most of his expression comes from.

I am with Ava here, I think that the sunglasses and earrings deviate from his character. Maybe for a younger drell like Kolyat, but not Thane. The outfit itself is nice though, and ironic as Thane can't tell between dark red and black.

But the image on the previous page... I am pretty sure that is Thane. Perhaps a screenie from his mission on Invictus? Bioware knows that the leak concerning Thane has gotten out now, so there seems to be little point in hiding things like that.

However, the fact he is wearing a ME2 outfit could just be a placeholder. They have done the same with Tali in ME3 screenies. I imagine that most characters (if not all will be getting a remodel of some sorts.)

Ok, this is going to seem odd - but what sunglasses? I play on 360 and both Jack and Thane's alternate appearances after their loyalty missions only ever changed their outfits. Jack gets more than leather straps (black leather top and low slung jeans) and Thane's outfit changed from Black/charcoal to a lighter grey/black. No red, no sunglasses, no earrings!! WTH??? Is there some sort of content I didn't install???

They are not from the Loyalty Mission, but from the Alternative Appearance Pack I,

It comes from the first alternate appearance pack dlc. You have to download it to see it. I'm sure someone has a picture of what they look like.

Haters.

I've always joked that it's Thane having a midlife crisis. I mean, he is dating someone who is technically ten years younger then him. Next he's going to get a red covert shuttle and drive Shepard around the Citadel with the top down and rock music blasting. Of course that means they can suffocate and die, but before they drive into that area and that happens it's a cool thought.

The earrings though were apart of his original concept art. The graphics designer accidently left it out and the DLC outfit included it. I hope they do make a return in ME3.

I want the sunglasses back too. Of course I don't like to leave them on Thane for his scenes cause they do take away from the emotion he has in his eyes. Sometimes I forget to go take them off first. Had him come in the romance scene while wearing them, made it very comical. But while in the middle of fighting he looks very slick, plus red is my favorite color. Such as in the pictures I've been posting of him lately.





See here, Thane steals the scene so much, Garrus falls off the screen and Thane nearly shoves Rylie off too.

I thought Thane was only about 7 or 8 years older than Shepard, and I didn't know that the earrings were apart of the original concept. I thought they were just added later. 

I'm also wondering why it covers his chest if it's not good for him. It's as if they came up with the idea of his chest needing to be exposed, and forgot that the alternate apearance outfit competely covers it.
