The helmets issue has been confirmed to be taken care of in ME3, by the way--as you all probably know already.

Not that we've seen/heard. Ashley's new outfit seems just fine to me.JECWSU wrote...
Well that's good, but are they still going to be wearing high heels in space?

I hope Ashley isn't wearing heels in space. She doesn't seem like the type anyway.

And I don't think anyone at bioware hates thane. I think the outfit is awesome. I guess it's not your style? IMO Thanes exposed chest has as much medical reason to be exposed as Samara's plunging neckline. -wink wink-

The outfit is awesome, and I think most of us love it. It's just some of us don't really care sunglasses and earrings. Thane pretty much looks good in anything.
I thought I might have missed something, because I do count the two years.

Anyone else think that Thane's 'helmet' in ME2 on missions that required them made him look like a terminator in tight leather clothing?
I thought that helmet...whatever it is made him look weird as well. To me, Thane's alternate outfit makes more sense in enviroments where he has to wear the mask. It makes him look covered unlike his normal appearance.
I must admit though I like the sunglasses on Thane, but the earrings look tacked on. Maybe if they were designed a differently it may have looked better. Makes me wonder if Thane likes those sort of things. We don't know everything about the guy right?

We DO know he's quite the handsome badass, so perhaps the earrings make sense?
And @Lucky Thirteen - your previous post about the midlife crisis made me almost spit out my coffee! Someone PLEASE draw it!

If I had to choose I would probably choos the earrings over those sunglasses. I just don't like covering his eyes.
I agree. Especially in the cutscenes - Thane's eyes are always so expressive it is a shame to cover them. And on the subject of Space Fashion, I really do like Miranda's AA2 outfit - I wish it were available for my infiltrator/sentinel.

You can see these three metal earrings on the side of his head, we never actually put that in the final model. We forgot. I noticed it a while after we finished the model, and I was like ‘where are those earrings?’ But it was too late and we said, ‘screw it.’"

Yeah, for me it's like, again, Shepard was dead for most of that, and the rest in a coma. I'm thinking physically for Shepard, everything was rebuilt and everything is like new. This is why old scars are gone. Coma patients will wake up and not realize months or even years have passed, which is what is alluded to with Shepard. I saw a documentary once where this guy woke up after ten years. One waking day he was 22, the next he was 32. Mentally, he was still 22 and it was still the 90's to him.
I think that if Shepard has physically aged at all, it can't be that much do to the fact they had to freeze Shepard's body for much of the rebuilding process plus, again, everything physical had to be rebuilt.
So essentially to me, Thane is technically 10 years older to her physically and mentally. Literally, by the time table they are 8 years apart. Which still is a lot, Thane was already a couple years into training to be an assassin when Shepard was born.
Not that there is anything really wrong with such an age gap. It's just, Thane got lucky and has a young girlfriend. And is totally having a midlife crisis.
And @Lucky Thirteen - your previous post about the midlife crisis made me almost spit out my coffee! Someone PLEASE draw it!
I've always wanted to, I actually used to picture a hovering motorcycle. Maybe I'll get the nerve up to attempt it. I'm not that great of an artist, but meh. It needs to get out there.
Then have Kolyat in the background being grumpy.

Yes, we discussed that on the previous page.
Though it's a good idea to have it re-posted on this page for anyone just coming on now.
It looks like the same jacket to me. I think it's the red out fit except without the hater shades.

I'm sure that Me3 will take place a few months after Me2, so if Thane hasn't died in those few months, wouldn't that explain why Thane would still be alive from the treatment, if Thane's time is short?
Cause technically I don't think Thane ever tells Shepard how long he has, unless if that's a dialogue I've skipped/missed. I don't think I remember that Dr.Chakwas did make the short-time treatment, but I haven't done LoTSB in ages, anyone know about it?

Thane's Medical Report From Dr. Chakwas
Lung Capacity: 42% (left-side lung shows large lesions, right lung has nodular lesions only)
Antibiotic treatment: Now resistant to cipoxidin, malanarin, alburcin
Metastatic progress: stomach, liver (minor), heart (negligible at this time)
Treatment Options: Viable transplant candidate but refused to be added to list - Synthetic lung generation currently impossible for drell
Therapy and Care: At this time, Mr. Krios should continue getting regular cardiovascular exercise in order to stimulate lung movement and prevent or delay the stiffness that causes lack of oxygen transport. While physical stimulation may also be beneficial in keeping tissues flexible, any injury at this point will dramatically impact Mr. Krios' body and cause rapid degeneration. It is unclear how much longer Thane will be able to serve in direct action. Thane should continue to wear loose clothing that leaves his chest uncovered to prevent moisture buildup that could worsen the problem.
The drell eidetic memory is often beneficial in allowing drell to escape unpleasant scenes by losing themselves in happier times. In this case, however, Mr. Krios should try to restrict the time spent reminiscing as prolonged sedentary activity increase the rate of lung degradation.
This suggests that what is best for Mr. Krios currently is to continue to remain active and engage with other team members in order to stay mentally and emotionally stimulated.

It is indeed a shame to cover them. I accidentaly left them on during a cutscene, and I hated it. I couldn't really read his face. It also fetl a little silly during some of his more emotional scenes for him to be wearing sunglasses. His eyes give of so much emotion.
I like Miranda's outfit as well. It always seemed odd for her to be walking around space in high heels. Samara too for that matter. Although I don't know what Justicars are suppose to be wearing.
