Naturally. I have a lot of Thane pics and screenies on my computer! Oh that pic reminds me of the good ol' days!

So I was thinking about the Gods that Thane worships, and wondering what his opinion would be on the Greek Gods? I imagine he knows about them as he is very aware of human culture. There are also strong paralells (or is it parallels?) Between Thane's brand of polytheism and the Greek Gods. Amonkira sounds very much like Artemis for example...

I wonder if Thane's gods have similar politics going on as the Greek gods.  I think Thane would find Greek mythology intriguing.

I imagine thane's gods being less petty than the greek pantheon.

Been playing skyrim, created a black eyed wood elf in tribute to ser krios... she's now been labelled a 'Thane'... made me smile.

I can't think why, personally. I mean, the only thing I can think of is that his skin has better traction than whatever the material is made out of, but why would his outfil be made out of a slippery material to begin with?

Maybe he just likes to be able to feel things? Like, say, Shep's ass?

Maybe Thane doesn't wear gloves because it looks cool Because it does.
Other reasons may be that it's easier to make slight, more precise movements, like pulling triggers.

And I wouldn't say his outfit is slippery, per se. More like smooth. And that would certainly aid with better movement, especially in tight spaces like vents! The only problem is it's tendency to stick against hard surfaces and itself with too much pressure and the noise it makes when it does... anyone else that has had experience with leather know what I mean? Maybe whatever Thane's outfit is made of doesn't have that issue.

Okay, totally not the point I was trying to make. Must not have said it right. I meant to say,, why would whatever his material is made out of have less traction than skin. Personally, I would wear gloves, to eliminate fingerprints. But then maybe Thane doesn't have fingerprints, or scale prints, or whatever the Drell equivilant is.

Yeah, in DA2 they made the elves bare foot (or nearly, in Fenris' case.) Never noticed that his shoes were part of his outfit before Hanar! And it would be quite difficult to use the toilet. If Drell use the toilet that is. Great art by Abnocte, she needs to come on here again

It's "parallels".

And yeah, I think so to. And Arashu seems like Gaia or Frigg.

Funny thing, I loaded my last save last night, right after finishing Miranda's loyalty mission, and she and Thane were doing coordinated neck exercises.

Maybe it's just his personal preference, or maybe Bioware just wanted to make Thane's outfit a little different from the others. 

I think that along with being a skilled assasin he's skilled at not getting caught. Even if they do have something like fingerprints Thane is probably very careful never to leave a trace that he was even there. 

Bailey did say that ten years ago on the citadel someone killed a lot of bad people, and was never caught. They suspected it was a drell, but they never could prove it.

As for the Gods issue, the Greeks are like a Soap Opera, with Zeus being the complete man **** of the programme . It seems like Thane's gods work together a bit more.

It's sad that he says the younger generation don't really follow those gods anymore. I think he is one of the few.

Lol, they are like those brain slugs from Futurama. Like I said, random, but the closest thing I could find to Old Spice Thane. But IIRC, Old Spice guy rides a white horse. That one looks like a brown Assassins Creed horse.

Let's not assume anything based on questionable material.  ME3 is still full of possibilities.

Hopefully not.

Nobody knows whats in the final game, so I'm trying to be more optimistic about it.
