I believe it would depened on what kind of battle it would be.mythlover20 wrote...
Totally off topic but an interesting question I just (like a second ago) came across in a comment on a Garrus fanart pic "A Wounded Garrus" by Jennifer Stolzer on the Mass Effect 2 Facebook page:
Who would win: Fenris or Thane?

I want a Thane plushie alsoFleshdress wrote...
I think taking bad things was more a product of Kolyat actually. Since he stopped being just an Assassin when he met Irikah and started again when she died. Plus, he mentions that he does random contracts while Irikah was alive since it was his only skill. I think the 'removing bad things' theme started up when he lost Irikah and risked losing Kolyat.
I want a Thane plushie to hug, his story is so sad, I almost cried when he go taken by the seeker swarms. Stupid Miranda, she told me she could do the barrier. It makes me a little sad for Garrus cause I romanced him in my renegade playthrough, but still took Thane everywhere with me, and everytime there was a *see if they're dead* cutscene she always checked Thane first.

Beautiful screenies as always Ava.
And a good question. I think he would have, but he would have wanted pay. Thane seems outraged at how collectors are abducting humans (and he does seem to have quite a fascination with humans.) And it is no secret that Thane kills those whom he deems are better off dead. The collectors would certainly fill that criteria.
His thirst for justice seems to be something that has been with him all his life. Not just a product of his terminal illness. He did say how when he freelanced, he targeted the corrupt. It is his way of justifying his lifestyle. And so I still think he would join Shepard.

I want to donate but I don't have an online account. Thane is far behind. Geeze Tali fans, slow down.Just a question once you romance say Garrus does that lock down the romance paths, after the game it says you can go back and build relationships, that doesn't mean I can start dating Thane does it?

He would have joined Shepard still, but for different reasons.

Mass Effect Marathon 2
Hey everyone. Just passing along that the Marathon is beginning. It's for the Child's Play gamer's charity. So click on the link, watch and support your favorite character!
It's a glitch: you're supposed to have no or one romance per playthrough. This is why the final romance scene is set to happen under the consideration that you're going through the Omega-4 Relay. As of yet, it is unknown how this may affect ME3.hanar05 wrote...

Actually, you can! I've heard of people doing it before, breaking up with Garrus at the end of the suicide mission then romancing Thane. Same for any of the LIs. You can even have the final romance scene with them, even though you are not going through the Omega 4 relay!
I have yet to test this myself though.

So, someone please explain to me the fascination with the plushies? I am at a loss.

So is the fascination because you can snuggle with Thane or it is the plusher itself as in excellent construction? I am not a teddy bear/stuffed animal kind of person so, I can see the appeal of it being of Thane but it there more to it?JECWSU wrote...

I don't really have a fascination with plushies, but this one is a Thane plushie so it's special. Plus Hanar made a really nice one that I wanted.

I think they would fight hand to hand, after oiling up. LMAO That was very wrong... ahem.

See this is why I love this thread. I get to express my "unique" sense of humor and most others have thought the same! Then again I just end up blushing after posting, like right now.Cosmochyck wrote...
This this!!!!
Fenris vs Thane...mmmm...tough call.
Although it does seem that Thane is stealhier, and would therefore have the upper hand.
Maybe they can fight, then sit down and chat??? Ooooooh both those smouldering voices together?? My head would probably explode....
I have the Thane figurine. He stands next to my laptop on my desk.JECWSU wrote...
I do really have many stuffed animals either. I do have some dolls I've collected though. I think for me it's because it's Thane. I really wouldn't want any other character. To me it's no different than a Thane doll or the t-shirt. When they offered theThane action figure, and the t-shirt I didn't buy either of those, so maybe it is also because it's soft and stuffed. My husband thinks it's silly that I want the Thane plushie, but he thinks I'm crazy for liking Thane at all.
