And yeah, I think that Shepard shows the most emotion towards Thane out of all the LI's. Except for maybe Liara, but I think Shepard was OOC with Liara.

I love it when they just start talking during one conversation, and Shepard just reaches over and holds Thanes hands, and says 'I've been thinking about you.' Shep isn't usually very open with personal feelings, but she seems to express them around Thane.

True love indeed. I love it when every time they talk Thane just reaches out and holds Shepard's hands. It shows this fuzziness between them, like a real feeling. Shepard doesn't seem to be that close with any other of the LIs. *huggles Thane*

Edit: Joker was right, he IS a real cuddler. XD

I think there'll be a lot of popcorning Thane fans if it does... though my gut feeling is that it'll be Shepard vs. Kai Leng just because she/he is the protagonist. . 

My personal feeling on the matter is that Shepard could stand to be the one saved from a impossible situation once in a while instead of doing the saving

I'm not sure Thane has anything to worry about, nothing we've read so far suggests Drell have that #ehem# weakness.

Even though Shepard is the protagonist, I do believe there should be a moment where he/she has to be saved by their LI. No matter how small the moment...it just needs to be for me

We need a moment where Shepard is knocked down in battle. LI rushes up and 'saves' him/her, only for Shepard to bounce back up and destroy the next three enemies. Cue smirks and keeping track of kills.

Thane would let Shepard win, of course. Guy's a gentleman.

@Platform626, I'm in complete agreement. This isn't Thane-specific, but there ought to be a moment like that. I remember how in ME1 Shepard pushed either Ash or Kaidan out of the way of the beacon, and then pulled one of them out of Virmire...  and I was sitting there thinking how cool it would be if the situation was in reverse.

I would love to see this happen. At the very least they could have Thane help Shepard like Liara does in LotSB. I like the idea of Thane saving Shepard or at least helping her out with Kai Leng. I'm sure it would be fine if Shepard had to fight him, but it would be much more interesting if Thane could do it or at least help.

LI helping out Shepard (even) in a small moment? I could live with that. I am sure my Shepard would appreciate the change, just for once. Wouldn't let it become a habit, though. And Thane would be the most suave of them all. *imagines Thane knocking out enemies just with the coolness he radiates* XD
Having Thane fight with Leng would be an interesting idea, but since they are both assassins it would probably end up in a cat/mouse game rather than anything flashy, ending with a shot in the dark (we all know who will be the one that gets killed of course ).

I figure he'd die as a part of an arc involving gaining the loyalty of both Drell and Hanar. It must be an epic and non- He lay's in bed. Coughs. He's dead type of thing. More of, sacrificing himself to take out a reaper or two.

Just so long as that's not what happens in my game, I'll be fine:?

I'm not sure how much use the hanar are going to be in a fight...getting a unit of well trained drell fighters on side would be a bonus.  
I wonder how the hanar are going to react to the whole thing... they do worship the protheans... does that include the collectors.  
Maybe there'll be some enkindler fundamentalists who worship the reapers when they find out the collectors were prothean.

Also, would Thane be a possible link to also add the Drell along with the other races Shepard is gathering? Maybe the hanar, too? *ponders on that*
