He will most likely do it in his regular voice for obvious reasons. Then again, as Hana said, he really does sound like Thane with or without the filters. I think the filters just make his voice even deeper, but that's about it.Sohe wrote...
I wonder how , or if , they will do the voice effect for it.

I won't complain about it!JECWSU wrote...
He really does have a great voice. I don't think it would bother anyone if he does use his regular voice. I'm just glad he might be able to do this for us.
It's the thought that matters in this case.
And besides, even if I wanted to complain I couldn't.
I'll be busy wiping away tears

I tend to err on the side of optimism in cases like this which, admittedly, might lead to a bit of denial without that being my intention. Sorry if I come off as stubborn or naive; I'm just really trying to be optimistic about ME3.

I apologize for coming off as defensive. I just, well. Fiery is a long time poster and fan of Thane. He was just trying to help. I am the one who hasn't been the most genteel. I could have been more understanding.
No harm done. No grudges or anger is held either.
Please, you are welcome among us. We enjoy new people and you are a new person.
What brought you to liking or as I like to say, being intrigued with Thane Krios?
He's just delightful. Drell spirituality places a lot of importance on the soul as the vehicle of moral choices. This makes sense because their consciousness plays such a strange and important role in their lives. The Drell's ability to conjure any memory at will leads to their creation of the soul as a concept, one that is stronger than the human idea. I went through his entire dialogue, and really enjoyed the interaction between my version of Shepard, and Thane. It was just very... romantic.

If you walk over to your desk near your terminal there should be an option to call him up.

As far as I remember, you have to talk to him first in life support and have the conversation about the collector's base.
Then go up to your quarters and next to your terminal should appear a new active zone to call him up.

The spirituality Thane displayed when I first saw him, mesmerized me. It was one of the first things that I liked about him. I am not religious but I am very spiritual. I loved how he prayed before doing to find Kolyat. His atonement for the life he lead makes him so familiar. I see a lot of my own moral ad ethical dilemnas in Thane. I find the way I try to gain understanding is reflected back to me in his character.wasp777 wrote...

It was just very... romantic.Of course, it's just a video game...but it's an excellently created game. There really has been so much thought, and vast amounts of effort put into each, and every character.
There are not very many game characters that have this attribute. I have seen religiousnes but not spirituality. As well as the philosophical underpinnings of duality and the nature of evil. I do not think Thane is evil, he displays no deprivation but I do see mortality and morality.
In Thane the limits of a mortal life is highlighted in minute detail. He has known pain and suffering yet he still finds himself in love. Even late in his alloted life, he makes room for love. Truly, he is alive. Too many times, I see people highlighting how his death is his character. What they fail to idenitfy is his life. Who he is as a character. It demeans him and who he is and what he has gone through.
His interactions with Shepard are wonderful. To love unflinchingly, completely. Despite of a terminal illness. Not worrying about a future just the moment. I love that. He loves her. And that is a marvelous thing.
When Thane was created, so much went into this character. I am amazed at the level of details. He is more than a pretty face or body he is a man. Simple yet so complex.

He is unusual among the Drell in that he follows the old polytheistic religion of his species. Thane is a very withdrawn and solitary individual, and tends to avoid conversation unless it is necessary for his contract; considering he's an assassin, it rarely if even is. He hadn't made a friend in years until Shepard came along. He has a tendency to drift off into his thoughts and memories; usually, he's thinking about Irikah, despite the fact that doing so saddens him significantly. He can get lost in his thoughts, and when doing so ignores everything around him. Thane is always very calm: he doesn't get caught up in the situation and overreact or act without thinking. THANE IS AWESOME. He and Jack are my permanent squad mates.Mei Mei wrote...

He is very unique. I wonder how much of the biotics came into the decision to train him to be an assassin? He doesn't fit the stereotypical view of want an assassin is. When I first heard of Thane I was expecting someone good but arrogant. He wasn't like any of my preconceived notions. He was a surprise. And in many ways, you pull back a layer and again, another layer.wasp777 wrote...

Joker has experienced the cuddliness of Thane then I presume? Also, I kinda like his description: Strong, sensitive murdering type. Is it wrong that I find that rather attractive? xD
