Those "lame-ass Hanar" are said to be scientists, and they're not to be taking lightly just because they resemble jellyfish. Remember that.

They may resemble jellyfish, but put them in the sea, and apparently they become in their own element. Thane talks about how different they are underwater himself in fact.

Hanar aren't that bad, it is just that we never saw much of them in the previous games. I imagine Invitus will change that.

Lol, We may be twins. I honestly could take this post word for word and let it be truth. ME2 is the first game I have ever enjoyed playing a female. It's all for Thane, and Garrus.

Oh ! I apologize then, any hanar trying to find a cure for Thane is awesome indeed.

Though personally I would've prefered to have Mr. Krios cracking Reaper necks by my side. Yes, Thane is so awesome that he can crack the necks of gigantic, indestructible, ageless, inmortal beings that don't have necks !

What do we have confirmed so far about him ? Temporary squaddie at least ?

Please, refrain from spoilers if possible guys, I've abstained from reading the leak !

I guess I'm the opposite. I don't usually have much fun playing male characters. Which is why I don't have many MShepard playthroughs.

The only games where I enjoyed playing male characters are Uncharted and Assasin's Creed.

Nothing confirmed for Thane so far. That rumour about Invictus doesn't come from an official source so nothing is certain.
But I'm sure he will have some part in the game, especially if you romanced him
I personally want to leave his role a surprise until I get the game.

There are no spoilers in this thread. Thane neck snapped them all. 

I am in so much trouble if Thane dies. I was writing a funeral scene with my Femshep and I started tearing up. I am screwed, if he dies I will have to stop playing to take a mourning hiatus.  I was actually thinking of a Femshep, well my Femshep pulling a "My Girl" Type freakout when seeing his body before the Hanar give him to the sea. 

"He can't wear that, it has a closed chest. He'll get sick, he might..."
*Samara and Garrus step in*
"No! No, he can't wear that! You're killing him!" *sobs* "Wake up! Wake up Thane. I promised we would see a desert! I don't break my promises, all you have to do is wake up."

They haven't really told us much on Thane's status in the game. I guess we are going to have to wait and see.

The only spoilers that Thane will neck snap are ones about the leak. Specualting about Invictus is fine, but Bioware has specifically asked people not to discuss the leak on the boards, and has advised people against reading them. It is up to each character thread what they want to do on here. But after asking on this thread, it was pretty unanimous that we didn't want spoilers from the leak up.

Just a question; Im doing my second playthrough with the intention of hooking up with Thane.
Does it really matter if I have high renegade points?
Apparently I hooked up with Kaiden in the Dark Horse Comic - will that affect my relationship with Thane? Or does the romance proceede regardless of previous relationships?

It doesn't matter if you are renegade or not, as long as you pick the understanding answers and romance lines when speaking with Thane. Having romanced Kaidan prior doesn't make a difference to Thane's romance... so far

Beautiful

The Female Shepard looks eerily like mine. XDDD Except she has some freckles on her face.

The only thing I'm looking forward to in ME3 is Thane's appearance. XD

Because I want to see how he enters and I expect a hug option for my Shepard to give him or maybe Thane will intiate the hug.

Or just to hear him say "Shepard" with lots of affection.

Oh, they're coming alright. It'll come in less than two weeks, which isn't very far off. But, that doesn't mean ME3 is gonna be out at that time like the other cool games did.
