Yay you!!!  I always loved the Cure Thane banner!

And I did watch the trailer with the Thresher maw - am I the only one that thinks that  at the end of trailer when MShep puts his "omni tool" out (or whatever it does) it looks like the energy sword from Halo?  I'm positive the sounds are almost the same too.

Thane did a special love interest for the female half...tried to come up with an image like that more than half of the girls. I think the fate of Thane invest in the caring hands of Shepard. Would not risk the developers definitely kill him. I really hope for an adequate explanation of his salvation. For example, or have something to donate or invest a lot of effort...

I am about as good at drawing as a Hanar.

Ok terrible pun over (and not particularly relevant as Hanar is an incredible artist! xD) I can draw stick men. With top hats and monocles. That is about all.

Another musing: If Thane could play an instrument, what would he play?

The first thing that popped into my mind was a flute.... don't know why though. 

May be because it is small enough to be easy to carry  a round? 

Edit: or an harmonica? XDDD

My first thought was some kind of flute or pipes too, which is strange as he might struggle considering his illness.  
I can also picture him playing the violin...  don't know why

I like to think it would be something from his homeland. Maybe something like a Koto, a Japanese string instrument. A bit like a cross between a piano and a guitar XD

Well, now that I think about it... according to LotSB dossier:

"Mr. Krios should continue getting regular cardiovascular exercise in order to stimulate lung movement and prevent or delay the stiffness that causes lack of oxygen transport."

so playing some kind of woodwind instrument may help with his illness.

I also like Hanar's idea. Thane says he is one of the few that still believes in his people old Gods, so a traditional Drell instrument would totally fit him.

If Thane were to be able to play a musical instrument, my best guess would have to be...

A clarinet. It's not traditional, but it's got a unique sound. And it's a woodwind instrument, so I agree with abnocte.

That's really hard to say. Some of those instruments would be really hard for him because his middle and ring finger are fused together, but if he could he'd play the piano.

Maybe he does play something. Some instument we've never heard of that drell play.
