Yeah, I see Thane as the type who would drink tea. And if he doesn't already like hot chocolate and ice cream, my Shepards would make him try it.

I actually see my Shepards introducing Thane to chocolate and ice cream if he hasn't had them too.  I could see Thane introducing Shepard to some foods Drell eat also. Since they can eat the same things it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't remember the name of the person who wrote the letter. Fiery knows. I think he asked someone on twitter and they told him who wrote it, and that the person had a little help from his girlfriend who romanced Thane.

That reminds me of the article that talked about Thane's creation, and how the artists asked women what they thought of the designs. It's been working out well to ask the women who romance Thane what they want.

Has the game ever mentioned what drell eat? Just curious if it's at all similar to human food.

It was a very good idea to ask the women in the office since women are who he was created for.
No the game has never mentioned what Drell eat. I would be curious to know.

That would be nice. I would hate for Thane to be written out of character.
Jay did a wonderful job so he definitely has an understandng of the charcter.

Well, there was one turian on Noveria who wanted a donut... and I think the bartender on Illium made a comment about not eating the dextro nuts, if I'm remembering that right. So it seems like the dextro food is similar to what humans would eat. Maybe drell food is similar? A little exotic, but not completely alien?

I thought Turians and Quarians couldn't eat human food.
I must have missed that about the donut on Noveria. Maybe because Noveria is my least favorite mission from ME1. I just try to fly through it. I think Salarians can eat human food. I remember during THanes loyalty mission a Salarian mentioned liking some human food. I'm not sure about Krogan.

Krogan should be able to eat human food, since Shepard could drink their alcohol. Some turians (and maybe quarians too, not sure about that) can eat human food if they're not allergic. They just wouldn't get any nutrition from it. After the comment about dextro bar nuts though, I just assumed the Noveria turian was talking about dextro donuts.

I completely missed it the first two times I played through ME1. It's one of the turian guards by the stairs in the main room, and you have to click on him a couple times because he says a few different things.

Then I'm guessing Drell can eat human food too. Thane doesn mention not giving Kolyat chocolate like he gave Mouse.

He does? I might have missed that (if different dialogue choices with Mouse have anything to do with it), or I just forgot because it's been a while since I played ME2.

I think it's a renegade choice. I don't remember. I'm sure someone here knows how you get it. Thane has a lot of good dialogue that I've missed at first.

That would explain it. I tried the Renegade interrupt on Mouse once, just because I love most of the interrupts and wanted to see what would happen, but it just seemed so unnecessarily cruel that I was a little distracted through the rest of the dialogue until I could reload.

Yes, Thane's missions and conversations have a lot of different paths. I like to roleplay different possibilities with my Shepards, so that's great for me. There are so many ways to go about his loyalty mission, it might not be exactly the same in any two playthroughs.

I still haven't been able to get the chocolat conversation becasue I never have enough renegade points. I have missed some of the dialogue because I never choos renegade.
I've never been able to shoot Kolyat, but I have pushed the merc out the window. I have never failed his loyaty mission, because that conversation is just so sad.

I've never chosen the rejection option in the final scene becasuse it just seems a little cold to me. I did hear that it doesn't end the romance though.

All you have to do is to move all your saves to a USB and dump the data to your PC. Then move the saves back to your Xbox 360 harddrive.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          If anything happens to my Xbox 360 harddrive, I can dump the data to a USB drive.

I don't know about female drell or turian, but there is a female krogan in ME3 I believe.

Sorry hon. I don't have a clue what female drell look like. I think I heard somewhere on the forums that a female turian appears in one of the comics somewhere. Not too sure about that though.

It's an option to shoot Kolyat? o_o The only one I know of is Shepard shooting near him as a distraction and then punching him, but that's a Paragon interrupt. Wow, I would never actually shoot Kolyat, and I've done a lot of Renegade things in these games. That's just too sad.

I am considering having one or two Shepards fail his loyalty mission though. I'll see what kind of effect this has in ME3 before I go through with it, but after watching the dialogue on youtube, it actually made me want to play this out. The dialogue was just so well-written and emotional.

For turian women, just look up pictures of the Evolution comic. They're the ones with no fringe except for the small "star-shaped" piece on the forehead. So... they look kind of bald.

Yes, that was me.  And thank you! Maybe I'll try to come up with one for Thane soon and see what happens when my Shepards try to make him eat sweets...
