I think that the squaddies shown that don't yet have a new outfit are just place holders currently, like Tali. It seems that the ME2 squaddies will be getting redone.

I do like his jacket, very matrix-like. I would absolutely love it if they did some matrix style camera angles during a cut scene featuring Thane.

I would like Thane to be in his original outfit but with the ability to change the material, pattern and color like we could do with Shepard in ME2, that way we can all be happy and enjoy Thane walking around in bright vibrant pink on Omega

And yes Matrix themed melee kills, outfits, and angles would be pure awesome. Hell, even wearing Neo's shades would be much, much better than the one's he gets in the AAP.

When the Husband told me that there was a character I would like in ME2, he said, "There's this guy in a cool-looking cutaway coat." 
I'm very fond of tuxedos, so when I saw Thane's outfit, it definitely looked like a futuristic version of a cutaway coat.  If we're making wishlists, wouldn't mind the addition of a nice, white cravat.

Reaper I love that pic! That is actually the picture I would have posted if my photobucket was working. Great minds think alike! It is a pretty badass coat. But as all the drell we see so far wear pretty much the same outfit, it would may be that Thane gets a more unique outfit. A bit like how Tali did in ME2.

Maybe he could wear only the jacket? *looks innocent* Yeah, I wish. His chest looks ripe for the licking though. (See what I did there? XD)
I think his outfit will be very similar to his ME2 one, maybe a bit more highlighted in colors. I don't think they are going for radically different looks - plus, his jacket makes him so awesome.
And thanks for the pics everyone, my daily Thane eye candy quota is filling up!

Ugh, I know. If it's a 'hey look, we're two missions away from death, time to pick up the drell' there's going to be a lot of sour looks- especially if he's playable.  My brothers and sister use him a lot in game too.

One (minor) thing that I disliked in ME2 was having a recruitment order.  I'm hoping that this time around, we can go where we want when we want.  Because honestly, when I find out where Thane is, I'll drop whatever is on my plate and head in that direction PDQ.

Ugh. Feron in the games >>>> Feron in the comics. I thought it was a human with some weird face disease when I first saw him.

And yes, I will gladly disc hop the hell out of the games if it's two or more discs if it lets me recruit in the order I want.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that Feron looked like weird human in the comics ;D

I think it was the colouring. His scalp was green, but his face still looked human. But the comics didn't do drell justice. In game though, they look really cool. And the game is more important anyway

But I do like Feron. Even though we don't see much of him. He is just overshadowed by the awesomeness that is Thane

That was definitely one thing I didn't like was the recruitment order. In ME we got everyone pretty early in the game. That is what I'm hoping for in ME3.

I agree about Feron. He looked a lot older in the comic than he does in LotSB.

I like Feron in game too- 'I'll try not to go anywhere.' Gave me a good giggle.

Is it just me, or do drell seem to have a vague similarity (profile wise) to DA2 elves? I don't know, but the first time I saw Thane in profile (I played ME2 after DA2) I had a o.o;; moment.

Hmm. I think that DA2 elves have a thinner, and more angular face shape. But I can see what you mean with the nose.

And yeah, I also found it rather odd that all three drell wore practically the same clothes. Maybe Kolyat got hand me downs. And, it is a long shot, but maybe Feron bought his 'Thane jacket' from a second hand shop Thane donated to?
