Agreed, hopefully him and Kolyat patch everything up so Thane can have peace of mind. I'm wondering that too, surely Kolyat would have some kind of reaction. He'll probably have mixed feelings about it, I hope he wants to see Thane happy but I doubt he'll be absolutely thrilled seeing his father with someone else. Only time will tell!

I wouldn't expect Kolyat to be thrilled with it either, but I think in time he would come around. First he and Thane need to work through their problems, and build a better relationship. 

He deserves a desert vacation.

I wasn't going to do the romance at first either, but I read how some people thought it was good so I gave it a try.
I've read my share of Garrus and Thane smut. Sometimes shepard has both. Only in fanfic.

I`m bringing up old convos from this thread but Keithe still hasn`t read Thanes letter so I was thinking the other day that...maybe..just maybe they changed the direction of Thanes fate from him dying 100% in the third game to having an option to save him. Cause him reading that letter would somehow seal his fate (Thane reading it would mean he is dead). So having no word from Keithe I`m starting to believe maybe they have a surprise for us in storage?
(Thinking of Keithe having loads of lines to read/act so he just doesn`t have time is also an appealing thought)

That's an interesting thought. That would be great if you're right.

Hopefully they have. Thane says in the game he was recording a message for him. If they need to stop at the Citadel again I'm sure Thane goes to see him. I also think working a c-sec could be good for him.

I think Kolyat would be all right with Thane and FemShep's relationship in the end, even if he was bothered by it at first. If she helped him from going down the wrong path in Thane's loyalty mission, he'll probably have a good deal of respect for her. Although, I'm not sure how many of my Shepards would try to convince him to work at C-Sec. Most of them even encourage Garrus to quit.

I know Natalie Shepard (the one I pair with Thane) would support it if Kolyat came to the decision on his own, but she's an Earthborn, and from her past experiences, it's not something she would suggest. She knows there are good cops out there like Garrus and Bailey (who gets some approval points for the way he handled Kolyat's situation), and it's completely in her nature to stop Kolyat from getting into the assassination business because it's something he wasn't ready for, but she wouldn't push him too far in the other direction - all the way from a life of crime to police work. Some of my Shepards would be happy to see such a change in him though.

That's really impressive, and it only took you 20 minutes? You should definitely draw more pictures of Thane.

@Wynne: I should read Redemption again, because I forgot a lot of what you mentioned there. Yes, if Feron was a romance option, he would get one of my FemSheps for sure. He would have anyway, but he's moved up on the list now. (And about Kaidan, I did read a lot of pain and passion in his dialogue. I can't say too much because you don't want to see the spoilers. )

Good find, I didn't know that about the drell babies. I really need to start reading the codex, or at least checking the wiki for codex entries. (They probably have them listed there, right?)

I'm glad you guys like my dialogues so much.  It gives my Shepards good excuse to test out that plot armor again...

It's great, especially for a quick 20min sketch. The forshadowing and perspective is very nice. I know what you mean about his eyes, though personally my weak point is his hands. Or hands in general. I'm very jealous of you for being able to draw them. I can't wait to see what the finished product is!

Oh, I've been reading and re-reading them for weeks. They are bloody fantastic. I love Thane's internal monologue. Kalenel really makes Thane leap off the page. I can't wait for the next chapter, even though I've already read For Such Loss, Abundant Recompense.

Natalie's not so crazy compared to the others, kind of like a baby krogan on a sugar rush. She still has a bit of the mentality from her past in the gangs on Earth - the wild and crazy kind of fun she used to have as a teen (which she tries to bring Thane into sometimes, to help him loosen up and make some friends), but she's far from the type of hardened criminal Carson was. Thane is definitely the the most sane partner in thier couple though. xD

Carson: Me and Thane in a Mako? Yes. This needs to happen. Yes. >
Thane: *fake disappointment* Oh, but the Mako was destroyed when the first Normandy crash landed. How unfortunate.
TIM: Not a problem. The Lazarus Project also works on vehicles. I was able to save it.
Garrus: No. Oh, spirits... why, why would you do that?
Carson: TIM, I love working for you. First the ship, then a room with my own private shower, and now this.
Thane: Judging by your past track record with Carson, should I assume that recovered Mako also has...?
TIM: Yes, plot armor. And there's no need to worry. I took measures to ensure that it will never fall into Reaper hands.
Thane: What measures are those?
TIM: My measures are my business. >_>
Garrus: I don't even care, as long as I don't have to get in that thing or repair it when he's done with it.
Carson: What are we waiting for?! Thane, let's go! Saren, equip the sparkle shooter to the Mako's cannons!
Thane: We were safer when he lead us into the suicide mission than we are when he wants to have "fun." o_o
Carson: My buddies are always safe with me. A little car-sick, maybe, but safe.
Natalie: It'll be fun, Thane. Just like a roller-coaster!
Thane: All right, Siha, I'll go with him. ^^; But I'm taking you with me.

@myth: But riding in the Mako with Carson really would be like the craziest roller coaster ever. Well, except for the safety stuff. I don't think he believes in it. He does act a bit like everyone's over-protective daddy by telling them to wear seatbelts though.

Carson: I can drive right for the test. It's like lying on my psych exams so the Alliance doesn't think I'm insane.
Thane: Well, that explains a few things.
Carson: Hey, thresher maw incoming! *bounces the Mako off the thresher maw's head, shoots it with the sparkles, then lands the Mako on its wheels* Mission success.
Thane: That last stunt of yours was actually quite impressive. Where did you learn it?
Carson: A car chase on the Citadel. They, uh... don't want me to go back there.

Uh-oh, I confused someone. ^^; I added the explanation into the first dialogue, but not the ones that came later. Carson and Natalie are two of my Shepards (with Natalie being the one who romances Thane), and the sparkle shooter is a firework-equipped super weapon they've created to fight the Reapers.

I have no time to write fanfics, so this is my contribution. Short, crazy dialogues. xD

Carson and Jack are just good friends. Actually, he doesn't have an in-game LI. He's with one of my other Shepards... and of course, my Shepards are not all related despite sharing the same last name.

Yes, Carson and Jack started that car chase. Thane was there too, against his will. And they regret nothing.

Edit: Maybe I'll post them in my blog. BSN does have a blog, right? I'll figure it out eventually.

You're right, wolf, this page does need pictures. Tasha told me the easiest way to do it was to create a photobucket account and copy the image url from there and paste it in the post. I think there is another way but I don't know it.

And I'm adding this classy picture, because in my little world, I finally get to go back to class tomorrow! WOOT! DANCE NIGHT!
