...Okay, that scenario might be too strange for even my Shepards to act out. xD

Of course. They were trying to build the Human Reaper in his image, don't you know?
I see, makes sense. I wonder how he hides his third eye?

Ok where to start...I spend a fair amount of time creating characters as well. That Mirror of Transformation in DA2 was my favorite thing ever. I could always tweak my Hawke.
Shep doesn't have as many options, and I agree that most of my Sheps look related. I'm not that concerned about the hair moving, but more hairstyle choices would be great.
The hardest character creation was Skyrim - it was VERY hard to get a female high elf that didn't look totally scary and ugly. Ah well, I play first person so I never have to look at her!
As for the streaks, I'm on board with the green for Thane!
My Shep has only romanced Garrus once, and that was mostly for science on my part. I wanted to see the romance arc. Garrus is just too much a bro for my Shep. She knews he always has her back. Otherwise, I have one loyal Shep for Kaidan, and all the other have not been able to resist Thane. I find it a much more satisfying relationship.
Thank goodness the "I want you Thane" wasn't actually those words. I cringed when I read it, but knew I'd have to choose it to initiate the romance. What an awkward way to start.
I never felt locked into the romances in ME1, but they were trickier to navigate. To be honest I haven't played in so long (thanks stupid mako) that I barely remember them.
Have some BAMF Thane for a great day!

You know, that pic actually helps me a little in regards to the question I was about to ask. Thanks for posting it.
Anyway, what do you think? What would Shepard and Thane say to each other when they first meet in ME3?

I'm hoping that we aren't going to have relationship angst over the fact that my paragon femshep handed herself over to the Alliance for trial...
I am also hoping for no relationship angst over Kaidan. As far as I'm concerned that relationship ended on Horizon, and I told TIM, Kelly and Joker so. Liara also knows from LOTSB that Thane is my new LI, so I expect that Kaidan will have heard in advance.

In my head, they aren't really "meeting" in ME3. I'm assuming he's staying by her side, wherever she is. I don't see any reason why they would be apart. Yes she may be on trial, but he would still be there with her. I'm really hoping for something reasonable, and not awkward, or something that makes no sense. If they are in a relationship, I see no reason for them to be travelling all over the galaxy separately. However, I'm sure this isn't going to happen. But in my head that's how it is - oh to live in my head

I really have to hand it to the man who designed the human reaper. That thing never fails to send cold chills down my spine and it just utterly creeps me out. It truly LOOKS evil.
Good job Bioware.
I agree, two years later and he still scares the cr@p out of me. Especially when he looms over you, I have to bring up the tactical HUD to regain my composure.
Otherwise, my Shep just stands there with a O_O on her face.

I've never tried it myself, but I know he voices his concern when you consider keeping it. (Unlike, say, Garrus, who voices his concern when you consider destroying it.)He says that he dedicated his life killing those who deserve and that it's best that they not become what they hate.

I had the same problem with my Wood Elf. xD

Well, if I had it my way, their reunion would probably involve squeeing, tackle-hugs and explosions...but I'm hoping he calls her Siha too.
The Kaidan angst needs to be kept to a minimum, I agree. Just a line or two so we can mend bridges and I'll be a happy camper.
Now that I think about it, that darn trial probably cut into their desert vacation...that will not do. è_è

I expect Thane would be very protective of his Siha, and I imagine Shepard would be pissed off, but also secretly thrilled by it. She doesn't need anyone to protect her, but it does make a woman feel special every once in a while. Thane would know this of course, but he is in love with her and I imagine he could be very protective in his quiet, dignified way.

Yes, Shepard's nickname would be the first thing through his lips, once they left Shepard's that is. But what would happen after? And what would their conversation be like if Alenko witnessed their reunion? I imagine a bit of confusion, a bit of disgust (Thane is an alien after all, not to mention an assassin) and a bit more of the "traitor" mentality, at least for a little while, till he got to know Thane. Then I expect he would accept it and wish them both well, and move on, right up to the point where he would be comfortable dancing at Thane and Shepard's wedding (please, Bioware, let there be a wedding!)

Im hoping he calls her Siha when he first sees her too! I have to admit though I kind of hope Kaidan is there if it happens. Im sure the look on his face will be priceless.

I'm trying very very hard not to think about their first meeting. I don't trust bioware that much, and I'm going to be disappointed with how that first meeting goes. I don't think it's going to live up to what I would have in my mind. He'll call her Siha , but after that who knows. It won't be long before w find out.

I kept it for my first playthrough, cause TIM's argument kinda does make sense. But I kept destroying it after that because I realised that he really was evil enough to use it against everyone else.

I keep the collector base all the time, and while squadmates might have different opinions AT the base, back on the normandy, everyone (even Miranda) goes, "Oh, I sure hope you know what you are doing." The end section, to me felt... unfinished, because characters like Legion and Mordin are Pro-keeping the base ON the base, and then are more reproachful back on the Normandy. If you don't destroy the base, or don't destroy it with Miranda in your party, you don't get to see her hand in her resignation to Tim, so her sudden discomfort with the thought of her employer with the base is more than a little awkward.
My reasoning is that we need info and proof and the base is the first object in two games (*cough* Sovereign, Vigil on Illos, the dead reaper) that isn't destroyed. By keeping the base, the people who died, well, they can't be brought back but something good can come of it and if anything goes wrong, the base can always be blown up later.
Besides that, if Tim is somehow aligned with the Reapers, I can't give him something he already has.

That's.. a good point. It's all a good point. Maybe I'll have to do another playthrough so I can see what the consequences are in ME3, because it seems that Bioware mostly planned for people who destroyed it. I mean, Cerberus is after Shepard in ME3. If she/he gave the Reaper to TIM, why is he after her/him so?
I know there'll be another reason, but for some reason I can't just think of one at the moment.

Sadly the Arrival DLC has Paragon Shep delivered to the Sol system at end game, that is if she stands true to paragon in her talk with Hackett.
I still think the idea that the Batarians knew who blew that asteroid up was a bit thin on evidence....
I believe Thane and Shep are parted due to the trial and he is off somewhere for the cure. I really hope that Bioware have not screwed up this romance with bad writing. Fingers and toes crossed!
