[Drell Warrioress]

So, there isn't going to be much in a way of an argument between Shep and his/her previous LI? That's pretty surprising from what I imagine. Still, I would like to later see how this whole situation unfolds in the game, once it's in stores.

I just want some good drama between my Shep/Kaidan/Thane, some good dialogue and so on:)

All my fish survived, I guess I used my cabin a lot between missions, changed armor and stuff. I also loved to poke my squadmates between missions a lot. Mordin and Joker are most rewarding in conversations. Garrus sadly only loves his calibrations...

I doubt we get anything really good, and I doubt it will be much dialogue with it. It will probably be one or two lines and that's it. You either go back to the old LI or stay with the new one.

I'm okay with them clearing out the cabin so long as they find a nice pic of Thane to replace Kaidan ... I do hope that the fish are not so high maintenance this time.

As long as they don't ruin the cabin. I like my cabin, and I don't want them to change it to much. I didn't like those models much, and I don't want to have to worry about those fish. I also would love a nice picture of Thane in my cabin. I would prefer Thane in my cabin, but since bioware doesn't want to be fair about it a picture will have to do.

 Tehee, I just go back to ME2 sometimes after the playthrough and ask Thane up and watch that sexy mofo just sit there with his perfect poker face 

I don`t know where I read this (might of been even here?) about him but it was something like this: 

I love Thanes perfect I-don`t-give-a-f uck-face. It`s like he has pockets full of f ucks but he doesn`t give you any..

Especially when you think about what the other LI's are going to get. The ones that are going to be with you.

I always try to sweet talk Kelly into feeding my fish. My Shep kept getting depressed every time she set foot in her cabin and had to clean out dead fish. "more things that die around me" is usually what's going through her head.

And yes! to a Thane pic in my cabin. Or just Thane, sans armor under the covers of that bed, with the trademark "i don't give a f**k look Then my Shep would spend a LOT more time in her cabin!

Really? There wasn't much of an argument when Shepard tried to romance two people in ME1, even less if Shepard tried the same thing in ME2, and Liara only had a few lines about it, so this is pretty much what I expected. I was most curious if they would be angry or accepting, and I'm glad that it seems more like they've accepted it. If they blamed Shepard for moving on after the way they treated her/him on Horizon, then I would have been annoyed with them.

Of course, I only saw reactions to a few of the possible LIs, and Thane was not included, so we'll have to wait and see.

I wouldn't say I'm happy about it getting cleaned out... but I can understand it, and even see an in-game justification for it if the Alliance felt the need to seize and search Shepard's possessions. I'm just happy that we get to have cool stuff for Shep's cabin again in ME3. The room had so much more personality in ME2 than it did in ME1 (also understandable), and I'm glad they decided to keep it that way even after Shepard is back with the Alliance.

Also, Gametrailers episode... what time, and what channel? And tell me I haven't missed it! D:
Edit: Never mind, I saw the announcement. Yay, I didn't miss it!

There was DLC stuff for Shep's room? ...Tell me the Saren statue was not included, or else MainShep will be furious. She wants that thing so bad. I hope there's an option to re-buy the Sovereign model too. She needs it there as a constant reminder of her failure to save Saren. (Poor girl.)

I stay up late all the time, so it probably wouldn't have made much difference to me if Gametrailers was on in the middle of the night. xD That would make the wait longer though, and I want to see if there are any spoilers for ME3.

Well, I had a pretty sweet post going last night before my internet cut out. (NOOOOO!!!!!) So I'm going to have to skip everything before except to say: I'm 26, and have been feeling the creaking, crunchy knees for a few years now. I do think Thane would marry if he has the lung transplant/is cured, and my Margurite Shepard would say yes in a second, because she's at the point where she's ready to settle down and do the whole husband and 2.5 kids thing, and has absolutely no conpunctions about adopting.

No that you mention it, there probably wouldn't be any "consequences" to the cheating beyond the one line or two. Which makes me kinda angry. When your partner cheats on you one definitely has more than a few choice words for them and the issue certainly isn't resolved quickly. I don't understand why they would compromise the characters and their relationships by trivialising the experience. Granted I don't think Shepard cheated at all, not after being dead for two years, and certainly not after Horizon. But that romantic tangle deserves more attention than it is going to get.

I'm not happy about it. I went to a lot of
trouble keeping those fish for as long as I did and I went to even more
collecting all those ships. I want them to be there when my Shepard
get's back! I'm also pretty sure Margurite would have a little private
stash of grog and some personal items hidden somewhere. She would not be
happy if the Alliance found her personal photos of Thane or her Duc de Chancay Champagne 2008.

Also my fish usually die. I managed to keep them alive until after I recruited Thane, then Margurite spent far too much time with him and the next time she went to feed them... nope. They're dead. She was very sad that night. Margaret, my first PT managed to keep them alive until she conned Kelly into doing it, then after the crew was abducted... yep, they're dead too. My Shepards just can't have pets. I don't know how the hamster stays alive.

This talk about the cabin being cleared out brings to mind the question... What is the Alliance going to think about EDI?

I don't think they'll be too happy about having an AI on the ship, especially not one that had effectively replaced the entire crew by the end of the game. The hostile encounters with Saren and the Heretic Geth would just be too recent. There would be far too much prejudice for EDI to be accepted by the Alliance or any new crew they would put on the Normandy. I think they would have tried to do everything they could to get rid of her.

I'm not thinking about what they would have done to Legion if they caught him. Poor legion.

I think Horizon is the main reason why they accept Shepard moving on. Of course they're upset about it, but I didn't see any mean comments directed towards Shepard, and not even jokes like Liara makes about most of them. After what Kaidan and Ashley said, it would make sense if Shepard considered their relationship over. And, if not... Shep could always say they "were on a break."

Uh-oh, I just realized that if Shepard's stuff is taken out of the ship, my MainShep will return to find her copy of Revelation gone. The Alliance had better watch out for her undying wrath.

Edit: About EDI, I don't know the details of what the Alliance thinks. But what I do know is major spoilers, so I'll keep quiet about them.

Oh, there's a storyline for it? Can't wait! And that's good to hear about the statue... although, if I did have the DLC, I'd want to take it with me for sure. Forget Kasumi's loyalty mission! Turn the ship around and take that statue back to MainShep's room.

And because I haven't done a dialogue in a few days, I think the Saren statue will be their next point of interest.

Carson: You know, it would be nice to get a statue like that for her. She deserves it.
Thane: That's very kind of you... and somehow, unsettling. But I will help in any way I can.
Carson: You're going to regret saying that, good buddy. I just thought of a way you can help.
Thane: *facepalms* All right, what do you need?
Carson: I'll find out where Kasumi got the statue. All you have to do is sneak into wherever she got it and steal the guy who made it, bring him here, and I'll have the plot armor waiting--
Thane: I'll have to stop you right there, Carson. Is there a plan that doesn't involve the two of us getting arrested?
Carson: Well, that's not actually in the plan... that's what happens if the plan goes wrong.
Thane: We could ask him to make another one. Pay him, if necessary. You could get a discount by saying that he's your favorite statue-maker in Citadel space.
Carson: Nah, too easy. It doesn't make for a fun dialogue.
Thane: Why don't we just paint Saren gold when he's sleeping?

I think they lied about when Gametrailers was going to be on here...  I guess I'll just have to wait a while longer. I read everyone's comments about it though. Drell are now an option in multiplayer?

Thane's not so much corrupted as just learning how to deal with Carson. This is what Saren and TIM do if he's getting too crazy or destructive - distract him with something else.

Cool. When I get a gaming PC, I'm definitely looking forward to playing a turian vanguard the most, but it'll be awesome to play a drell too. Did they show the character creator? I'm just thinking of all the awesome color combinations that are possible with the drell skin.

Freddie Prince Jr as Vega? Surprisingly, I can't even remember what that guys voice sounds like. I'm looking forward to multiplayer as well. Drell Sentinal here I come. Saren, you want to join forces? And what did they say about TIM? You have me intrigued now!

Also, Saren. Purple. I want Thane to be painted PURPLE!!!!

And if not entirely purple, make it look like he's wearing purple drag-queen style make-up. (Better not tell Saren that their paints are water-soluable, though. He'd likely go for an oil-based paint otherwise).
