I agree with this,and I hate that Bioware may sideline Thane and the rest ME2 characters which makes no sense to me at all.

Vega seems ok, but I don't really know anything about him. I'll have to wait for the game to decide if I like him or not. Although I think they could have done a better job with his look.

Agreed, if they would of made him look more like Freddie P.J- I might take him on missions, but right now he just has this dumb look on his face (moose? ok) and I swear if he starts to ask stupid questions I DO airlock him

Somehow I don't think any of us are going to be very productive. And yes, I can't wait to do this!!!!

I definitely don't like the look of Vega. He just seems to be a typical grunt. I'll wait for the game to come out before I finalise my opinion, but I'm not too fussed over him at the moment.

on another note. I just got my copy of PlayStation Offical Magazine - Australia and I took a look at the front cover and what did I see? THAAAAAAAANNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!  I think. I mean, the character is wearing his mask, is carrying his sniper rifle, and wearing what looks to be his armour. But then i took a second look around the chest area, and I'm thinking maybe it's Ash. I don't know! I want it to be thane, but now I'm not so sure!

As for the magazine, as it is promoting the multiplayer, unfortunately I think it is just a generic drell, seeming though they are a playable species. I wish it was Thane. But with the leather jacket style clothes being the very peak of Drell fashion currently, I don't think it is Thane.

We can pretend though, if it makes you feel better

That's part of the fun! My Garrus romance playthrough will be first, so I'll be coming here to read all of the romance conversations (and possible variations), and I'll be sharing Thane's friendship talks, plot stuff, and all that.

Yeah, when I heard there was going to be multiplayer that let us play different species, the first thing I did was check if it was online-only, or if it was possible to do without. I don't know how they can even expect families to play together if they only have one console and copy of the game... D: It should have been an option. I could  have been the tank squadmate who rushes into battle and distracts all the enemies from the other player, acting like a giant human/alien shield. That's already my playstyle!

And Myth, I can't tell if that's Thane. The mask looks a lot like the one he has in-game, but it also resembles a style that Shepard can have. Plus, all drell seem to dress alike. That magazine looks cool though... any idea if the US version has the same content? New ME3 info, Amalur, The Last of Us, Skyrim, Ezio - I should be reading this! XD

Yes you should. So should I, since I've been forsaking my reading in favour of playing Skyrim and ME2 and reading the ME books.

That's another thing I should be doing... reading the new Invasion comics. I have all four, but I've been too distracted to read them lately. xD You know you're a fan when BioWare stuff is distracting you from other BioWare stuff.

I'll check the stores in a few days to see if they have that magazine with the same info. I think I have seen the Playstation magazine there before, and I want to read all the ME3 stuff I can find! I'm guessing it's mostly about the multiplayer I won't have access to for a while though, judging by the words "radical new direction." I've got to find out if that multiplayer needs to be connected with a single-player account to work... If not, there's a very slim chance I might be able to play it elsewhere, not on my own Xbox.

Still strange that they have his excact design, but its not him. Doesn´t realy make any sense. They should at least cange SOMETHING from the MP drell. Thane is special, not some random drell.
But there is one tiny weeny change it IS Thane? It is not confirmed that he is not  in the sqad after all...

It's a pairing I don't want to think about. I don't think Miranda would be right for Thane, at all, and I don't get how some people do.

That's what I thought too.  Unless that's the "assasin" attire, like asari commandos.  But still, assasins probably shouldn't (and don't) have uniforms, and from what I've seen of the classes Drell can be, "assasin" is not the only option.

I always thought Thane's outfit had everything to do with his job. Easy to move around in. Maybe it doesn't make much noise. Now I think bioware has just decided that all Drell are going to wear it. I thought Kolyat was only wearing it because he found it in the things Thane left for him. Feron doesn't even wear that in the comic, but in the game he does.

I like Jack's new look so I would like to see a nice redesign for Thane. They probably won't change much except maybe the color.

It didn't look like they changed anything for Tali. She looks the same as she did in ME2.

You know what I'd love to see? A quick snip where, after a good kissin' with Thane, Shepard is sent into a temporary psychedelic thrill - like after you drink a few shots at the bar. Only with brighter colors.

Kissing Drells does that, right? It'd be a funny little indulge.
