No it probably won't be in the game, but it would have been fun to watch. I don't think we have ever seen Shepard like that.

Natalie Shepard would have been so excited to hear about the drell's drug-like effects from Mordin. xD I see her as the type who would also shoot crates of red sand and then run through the dust.

Natalie: *eyes open wide* I'm Commander Shepard, and drell are my favorite drug on the Citadel! *swoons* Carson! Hey, Carson... c-come here. You've got to try this. It's wicked.
Thane: No! No. Just... no. Carson, no.
Carson: I'm not quite that wild and crazy. Maybe if I wasn't in a committed relationship, and you knew a nice lady drell.
TIM hologram: I'm not even going to ask what happened here. >_> Find one of the other Shepards, and tell him/her to go on Natalie's missions until she stops seeing rainbows.

You'd have to hand it to someone who survived a suicide mission while intoxicated, we have very irresponsible Sihas... ಠ_ಠ

That's true, it would be interesting to see what happened if an intoxicated Shepard went on the suicide mission. I have in-game scenarios planned for paranoid Shepards, and one with a split-personality... but no Drunk!Shep yet. At least we can use the excuse that when my Shepards are being irresponsible, there are 20+ more to take their place! Poor Thane, the stuff he has to deal with aboard the crazy train.

Good point. o_o If only TIM could know that the woman he just sent to save the galaxy is... seeing rainbows. And even after Mordin warned her.

I haven't played most of those Shepards yet. They're just planned out. I'm making a chart so I don't forget anything.

It would have been nice if bioware to put something like this in ME3, but they won't. I'm starting to wonder if we will get anything worthwhile from them.

Im probably stupid... But uhm, does he refer to his body and soul being sepeate, hence "they both are"? Thats how I understood it.

I have a feeling that the first week after ME3 is released, Ill have to stay hell away from this forum. Spoilers! Soon as Im through with the game, I can imagine all the discussion that will be already be here! Exciting!!  I have the whole weekend off for playing. Good bye social life!

I hope you guys will all come to the forums after ME3 and post about your Thane conversations. From what I've seen around here on different threads, a lot of people can actually finish a game this long in a few days? I don't even know how that's possible, so when you guys get to every plot point before me, I want to know about it!

My canon Shep as a descision log for both games, plus a bio that contains everything you'd ever want to know about her.But I don't have the kind of brainpower it would take to come up with 20 of 'em.

Exactly! I can't help thinking of new Shepards, planning out an entire history for each one (which I usually don't write down because it would be way too long, like Carson's), getting their decisions and relationships with other characters all charted out according to their personalities... It just happens. And even though I think it would be strange to play out romances for my favorites with more than one Shepard, here I am, planning it out because of the wonderful variations. I had no idea there were games that offered this much choice before Mass Effect. So, of course, I had to buy them (the older BioWare games). I probably have close to 20 Wardens and Hawkes planned too.

Yeah, I do plan to play them all eventually. If all goes well, I should have a lot more free time in a few months.

Wow so much to catch up on!
First - that comic - I am in the pervy column as well

And I'm loving the drunk/high Shepard seeing rainbows.  I always take my Shep to Kasumi's spot and get her liquored up.  I was originally doing it for "science" as I wanted to see if Bioware would have her passout.  Nope.  The ship gets really blurry and tilty (like when you share the Brandy with the doc) but no passing out.  Too bad.  I wanted to find Thane leaning over her, head cradled in his arms, all concerned.

Do we think the fact that Thane is green is the reason everyone keeps coming up with green things for him to eat/drink?  Something in everyone's subconcious?  Green tea, green tea ice cream....

I look at the mug on his table and think, he's had a hard life, he's alone, he's staring at the engine core, it's booze!!    Some sort of futuristic alcohol, but alcohol nonetheless.  He switches to something else once he's finished his mug of liquor.  Can't have him all drunk and trying to snipe people

No, one of the people you take with you to the final battle always falls off the platform. It depends on what order you choose them in- the person on the right's icon will fall, that means you have to choose the person you don't want to fall, first.
