So Tasha doesn’t have a twitter and I don’t either. Did anyone tweet about Thane? They might think we don’t care.

I think that would be great. In TOR they are implementing this. You’ll be able to send your henchmen on different missions, send them to gather material, or just have them work on upgrades on the ship. I would like that idea to be in me3. But I think they would have said it already if that were the case. That would also take away mineral scanning which everyone hates.

Tweet Casey Hudson and David Silverman. Ask them if we'll see or hear anything about Thane before March (and if we do when). Just Casey Hudson - if Thane is also getting a redesign and if he is going to be in squad.

I'm going to bet the answer will be along the lines of:

"All of your squadmates will return in ME3, including Thane."

It won't tell us how he returns, or how long he's in the game. There's too long to go before the game comes out, and they like to keep us guessing.

I'd guess we'll get some answers at Comic Con in a couple of weeks. At least I hope so!

And as much as I'm looking forward to hearing about Thane's place in the story, I'm almost as equally excited about his skill tree. Garrus' and Liara's both have new powers (lift orb and proximity mine)--will everyone else? What will Thane's be? Please oh please be a melee attack. I need more neck snaps in my life.

Sorry if I said something spoilerific. I'm triying to stay spoiler-free myself, but I don't mind info about game mechanics or things like who is going to return, since I always assumed that everyone will, one way or another. What I don't want to know is the how and when they joing you again.... too bad I already saw too much about Mordin.... :pinched:

I do hope all squadmates get their own melee attack, specially Thane given how he was introduced in ME2!! 
ME3 needs some necksnaping!!

I support Thane for a big role in ME3 because I enjoy his conversations more than any other character in the ME world. He's also the most intelligent and is a pretty perfect teammate, with both the biotics and the sniper rifle. Thane along with Morinth, Grunt, and Legion are the only teammates that I actually use because they are the best written and have a good mix between depth(excluding Morinth) and combat skills.

Honestly, I'm going to get myself an outfit just like that. I don't think you can get a cooler outfit (assuming you're in shape, which luckily I am ^.^ )

Garrus most of the time. I imagine that if we got more squad interaction, those two would get along well. And snipers are always fun to have at your back.

On insanity runs however, it's Grunt. Those two are unstoppable, and there's a nice balance between serene sniping and boisterous charging that brightens my day.

My first run-through, they were my initial team. The only reason why Garrus ended up trumping Zaeed was headcanoning and because Garrus has overload. :/

With who I'm playing it always depends on the class I'm playing and on what level of difficulty. Thane is almost always on the team though. On insane you just have to have warp and overload all the time. So Thane and Kasumi or Garrus. Though Garrus is quite annoying with his 'here we go'. If I have overload then I take Grunt. On veteran I like to take Jack. Mordin is also very useful, but I have Thane for organics so he usually gets left behind; I like his 'flammable or inflammable, forget which, doesn't matter'. My favourite Thane line is 'moving'. He says this so cute I just have to giggle every time. Though 'placing my body in cover' is also very nice.

I go through game using always the same team. So I hope they won’t do that temporary for everyone thing. That and from what we’ve seen so far I’m not very impressed. Everywhere big explosions, you will be just running around, jumping, rolling, using big machines and not seeing anything. No use for tactics because everything around you will be too chaotic. And here now you have to take his guy with you, and then that guy is with you. That’s not rpg anymore. The whole game then looks like it will just be one big linear shooter. Bleh. But on the bright side if they decided to ditch Thane then I won’t be so upset not playing this game.

And ignore my English, it is terrible today. Very long post for me so ...

Thane and Garrus are my go to team. I use no one else. XD
