They said it would be out tomorrow on twitter. I don't know what time though.
I'm excited to see it.

Got a link to the twitter post?

Here it is.

Ty, ty lots.

Finally something new to see, instead of those same clips of explosions and Reaper vs Thresher Maw and maybe for once we won't see Liara in every other shot...

Think it'll be too much to hope for to get a glimpse of any of the LI's save Garrus?

I believe they said Kaidan would be in it, but I don't know about anyone else.

...Ugh, Kaidan.

I mean, oh, Kaidan!

>_> I want Thaneeeeeeeeeee....

Kaidan is in one of the videos they posted today on the ME3 website. I watched all of them several times and didn't see Thane. However, still pumped for the FemShep trailer and a sneak peak of Thane - anything really!

I would love to see something of Thane in the FemShep trailer. Even if it is just a small glimpse of Thane would be great.

This is really starting to get ridiculous with Bioware not saying anything about Thane or anyone form ME2.

I know. Deep down some part of me is still hoping that they are just tormenting us and that we will get a satisfactory conclusion to their stories, but most of me is rather pessimistic as well.

I want to see a bit of Thane too. But I really don't think it's going to happen.

So much pessimism here! Maybe I should get my Shepards to do one of their dialogues and cheer everyone up... oh wait, they're busy. I'll make them come up with something later. :P

By the way, I was wondering, since I'm up to that chapter in my Invictus first draft: Thane says that he left Kolyat in the care of his aunts and uncles, but do we know who's siblings they were? Were they Irikah's sister or brother, or Thane's? Did Thane maintain contact with his family during his training? Did he regain contact with them afterward his training, or his marriage? Or was he just adopted into Irikah's? It's been a little while since I've played ME2 and I haven't gone through all the books, or any of the comics, and ME wikia just refuses to load for me most of the time, so I don't remember/know if we were directly told who they were related to, or if it was just left to our imagination.

Does anyone know? I have my own ideas to answer these questions, but I don't want to go against canon any more than I already have with creating my Shepard, so I want to make Thane's background as canonical as possible.

I thought Thane didn't have contact with his family during/after his assassin training. At least, that was the impression I got from one of his conversations, but I could be wrong. So I would guess that Kolyat was left with Irikah's family.

@hanar: That comic is great! xD I like Thane'scomment about their timing being unwise.

Thane never really says much about his his parents or if he had any siblings He just says he was chosen for the compact. It would be very interesting to know if he had contact with theim.
Unfortunatly I don't think we will ever really know.

I understand how you feel. I wish it was just them tormenting us.
We will find out soon enough.

@Saren That was the impression I got as well, but like I said, it's been a little while since I played and I thought I may have either remembered wrong or had forgotten something.

Oh, and yes, dialogue please. Also, my mind has gone somewhere very NSFW when you said they were all "busy". Yeah, I know. I've got a dirty mind!

@hanar: Your comics are always gold! :D

Anyway, I just uploaded Invictus Chapter One - Tears of a Broken Heart. Please let me know what you guys think if you want to read it.

Good to know my memory of Thane's dialogues aren't that bad. I haven't had the chance to play ME2 in a while.

And my Sheps were not that kind of busy. Image IPB They were innocently eating dinner and planning their next insane use of the sparkle shooter! Well, maybe Natalie took Mordin's "don't lick the drell" advice as a challenge and a means to create a plan up to Carson's level of crazy... but everyone else, innocent!

Anyway, I just uploaded Invictus Chapter One - Tears of a Broken Heart. Please let me know what you guys think if you want to read it.

Invictus - Chapter One - Tears of a Broken Heart...

I forget, is this the one where you used the multiple Sheps on the same Normandy idea?

Hi anjitaki! I can't wait either. (:

Myth, I'm just about to read the first chapter of Invictus, I just have to share something with you all first.

http://gamerant.com/...es-dyce-129960/

It isn't the femshep trailer but it features her in it. Just thought you would all like to check it out. xD

Okay, now I'm off to read the first chapter of Invictus!!

Edit: It's the first trailer on the website by the way.

Edit 2: I LOVED the first chapter, myth. I felt so sorry for Shepard at the start. ):
You're such a great writer! When you write, I get a really clear visual in my mind which I absolutely love when I'm reading books or other people's writing. It was a fantastic first chapter.
Can't wait for the next one! (:

Welcome to the Thane thread, anjitaki!

@Purple: Oh yeah, I still have to watch the trailers tonight! One of them has Kai Leng!

I just read chapter one of Invictus too. Now I want to see where this is going...

Kai Leng is in the trailer that I linked. At least I think that it's Kai Leng. He appears at around the 11 second mark. I'm almost entirely sure that it's him but if not, I apologise. xD

Me too, and I believe that is Kai Leng.

@Myth
I'm enjoying it so far. This chapter made me feel so bad for Shepard.
What is she going to do without Thane.

Ah, thought so.

Also, I heard that the husks were going to be harder to kill in ME3. I absolutely hated the husks. They annoyed the heck out of me. Especially when the scions appeared and they were followed by waves and waves of husks. Quite annoying.

I'm not a fan of those husks either. They remind me of some bad zombie movie.
Now they will be harder to kill. I hope we don't run into them to often.

We seem to be able to visit everyone elses homeworld. I couldn't remember if we could visit Kahje.

I agree, I hope we don't run into them too much.

I'm not sure if we will be able to visit Kahje. Hopefully.

I hope we at least get the option to take Thane to a desert. He deserves to see that desert.

I would have liked to take him to Shepards apartment, but they said it wouldn't be in ME3.
It would have been perfect for him. Still I also want to take him to the desert.

We will probably run into a whole swarm of husk coming at Shepard like they always do.

Aw, that sucks. I would have liked it if we could have taken him to Shepard's apartment.

You're right, we will most likely run into a very large group of husks awkwardly running at Shepard. I can't wait.

It would be cool to see Kahje. I'm looking forward to all of the homeworlds.

Aw, I like fighting husks... at least on Casual. It's just so much fun to send them flying with biotics. Maybe I won't like them so much if they're harder to kill, but then again, I still thought it was hilarious to watch my FemShep try punching a room full of them to death until they finally depleted her health bar. (That was my first combat experience in ME2. I didn't know how to reload the gun. xD)

Haha, that was the one thing I enjoyed about the husks. Sending them flying with a biotic shockwave. It makes me feel very achieved.

The very first time I played that mission where you investigated the derelict Reaper ship (where you recruited Legion) I nearly rage-quitted because I was so sick of the husks and scions. Mind you, it was my first time playing and between you and me, I wasn't that great at the game.
I eventually got better and when I played as a Vanguard, I practically squealed with delight everytime I bashed them with biotics.

I don't know why Bioware gave us that apartment if we were never going to see it again, and I hated pinnacle station. I only played it for the apartment.

Just give us good weapons to fight the husks and hopefully we will be fine.

I found that Area Throw is also really fun when used on husks. I just love watching those things fly. >:D

One of the hardest missions for me was Garrus' recruitment. Besides the combat, it's probably tied with Thane's loyalty for "mission I'm most likely to get lost in."
