Haha, that was the one thing I enjoyed about the husks. Sending them flying with a biotic shockwave. It makes me feel very achieved.

The very first time I played that mission where you investigated the derelict Reaper ship (where you recruited Legion) I nearly rage-quitted because I was so sick of the husks and scions. Mind you, it was my first time playing and between you and me, I wasn't that great at the game.
I eventually got better and when I played as a Vanguard, I practically squealed with delight everytime I bashed them with biotics.

I love my biotic shockwave. It works so well.
If they are harder to kill I wonder if it will still work.

I found that Area Throw is also really fun when used on husks. I just love watching those things fly. >:D

One of the hardest missions for me was Garrus' recruitment. Besides the combat, it's probably tied with Thane's loyalty for "mission I'm most likely to get lost in."

Haha! xD

In Garrus' recruitment mission, I wasn't too keen on the part where you have to close the shutters. I had to use Tactical Cloak quite alot whilst doing it.

@JECWSU - I agree, biotic shockwave really does work well.
I hope that it will still work well in ME3, it sure does come in handy against those darn husks.

If husks don't fly across the battlefield and get insta-killed from my biotic attacks, I'll be a little disappointed. :P

Oh, I didn't even try to do something tactical in Garrus recruitment the first time I played it. I just made Shep go crazy racing against the clock, killing everything and closing the shutters as fast as she could.

Thane's loyalty mission was more like this:

Shepard: *follows target* Okay, I've got him this time... and I'm not letting him out of my sight!
Target: *walks to next area*
Shepard: *reaches two pathways* Oh, no. Um... oh, no. *crosses fingers and walks through one*
Thane: Can I get an update, Shepard?
Shepard: *looks around, but doesn't see the target* W-Where did he go?! Seriously? Again? He disappears again?!
Thane: Shepard? How's that update coming along?
Shepard: *running around frantically* WHERE IS HE?!
Thane: ...You lost him again, didn't you?
Shepard: Let's just reload and get this over with.

I'll be pretty disappointed too! xD

Haha, great dialogue! It's so true! I feel sorry for poor Thane.
It's so easy to get lost in Thane's loyalty mission.

Something biotic should work on those husks. I always make my shepard biotics anyway.

It makes me wonder why Thane didn't want to handle that part of the mission himself. I know, Shepard has to do it for gameplay purposes, and trying to be an assassin for a while is really cool (even if it is really hard), but gameplay reasons aside, it seems more like a job for someone who is already experienced in this sort of thing. Thane takes a big chance of letting the target get away by leaving this up to Shepard, who is clearly not the best subtle sneaking around type.

This would be more MainShep's style:

MainShep: *jumps down from above and shoots the target in the middle of the dance floor*
Crowd: *gasps and stares*
MainShep: What? I'm a Spectre. Nothing to see here.
Thane: *facepalm*

Ive thought the same. I remember the dialogue when Shep asks Thane "I don´t have your set of skills for this sort of job, why do you need me?", and Thane answers quite firmly "I  don´t need your help, I want it!".
What does he mean?

Aww, I don't think I've ever seen that line! I've got to choose it on Natalie's playthrough. Thanks for pointing it out.

So, Thane really can do this himself if he wanted to. He just wants Shepard to be a part of it. That's sweet.

I can just see Shepard try and sneak around in that armor of hers... and running around loudly on those catwalks. There's just so many ways that can go wrong. :P

I also like his "I don't need your help, I want it." line. The way he says it is... different compared to his normal tone.

I've always loved that line. Especially when it's said to FemShep. It just seems like the first stages of the blossoming of their relationship. Yeah, I know he says it to MaleShep too, but... lee'me 'lone. I'm fangirling here. :P

@anjitaki Hi! Welcome to the thread. I think there are some Thane cookies left on the table over here if the other's haven't eaten them all yet. And if they have, well, I guess I'll just have to bake some more. =]

Aw,
I like fighting husks... at least on Casual. It's just so much fun to
send them flying with biotics. Maybe I won't like them so much if
they're harder to kill, but then again, I still thought it was hilarious
to watch my FemShep try punching a room full of them to death until
they finally depleted her health bar. (That was my first combat
experience in ME2. I didn't know how to reload the gun. xD
)

Oh, you wrote that Saren. When i read that I thought that I must have written a new post and completely forgotten about it. :pinched:

Yeah, i LOVE sending husks flying with the shockwave. I ALWAYS make sure to take Jack with me on the Reaper and the Collector ship or Horizon.... Basically anywhere I know there are going to be husks. I always use her to keep me alive in those missions, because darling Thane just can't snipe them fast enough.

But I'm actually looking forward to seeing what the new alien husks can do. It looks like it will be fun trying to counter biotics with biotics against those Asari husks. They scare me, even now. So, yeah, great work BW! :)

This, right here, is every Garrus RM I have ever done! I absolutely hate it. I always, always die here, trying to get that door closed. You know, the one in the large warehouse like room. I'm fine with the hurdle corridor one. But the warehouse one. I can never get close enough to the door, and then when I finally, finally, manage to get there, the door close is always, always interrupted by more ****** trying to kill me. :bandit:

^This too. I can't even remember the number of times I failed Thane. And I didn't even get distracted by the Techno Turian because I've never seen him! I always got lost when They went into that first store. It took me forever to figure out where they went! :pinched:

And finally... Saren, JECWSU, Purple, and moonwulf: THANK YOU!!! I'm so glad you like it! :o

And if you want to know what happens next... well, so the **** would I! Margurite is being especially tight lipped, especially in regards to Kaidan. She really needs her drell with her, and I don't know what she will do without him. :crying:
Oh, now thinking about her is making me sad. I'm gonna go hug my Thane plushie now, k? :(

So, now some Thane to make us happy...
In Love, by angua. Cause we all know I really LOVE her and Savvid's work. *decisive nod*

She has gorgeous drawings :) drool*

I love playing as a biotic, I feel it`s sometimes more effective than shooting, specially when you max out your skill.
On a sidenote to your earlier discussion-I LOOOVE Mako, really. I don`t get it how people have so much trouble with it. It has an amazing zoom-in cannon for christ sake. You don`t need to headbutt geth colossus with it, just shoot it from a far and jump when the plasma blast is coming.:P Or maybe the thing really is better to drive using PC. I don`t know. I just loved it. =]

Do you know any footage where we could see Keithe Farleys acting? I would really like to see something.

I took a lot of neat screencaps from our favourite drell recently, gonna post them somewhere and then spam you guys here. Smexiness warning!

Caught a glimpse of Liara, Miranda, Jacob, Samara and Kaidan.

Loved the trailer. Loved the (long overdue) glimpses of a few of the ME2 squad. Sad about the lack of Thane though. I knew the chances of his appearing in the trailer were low, since he's not a squadmate this time, but I still hoped.

At least we got to see some of the old squad again. I missed them.

What does everyone think of the new default?

I enjoyed the trailer. I hoped that Thane would be in it too. Jacob, Miranda and Samara are also not squadmates. Although the footage of Kaidan and Liara we've seen before.
I am glad that FemShepard finaly got her own trailer.

I was pretty sure Thane would not make it into the trailer. Even Garrus and Kaidan (does 1 sec counts?) didn`t make it and they are the favourite LI-s...
I`m greatly amused that bioware let maleshep slip into the trailer too :D

I am disappointed :(that I did not even get a glimpse of my favorite LI and drell in the trailer - nearly all the other LIs haven been shown in trailers released until now or in demos or on pictures, but not Thane. What does this mean? Didn't BW show him for a special reason? Will he have a greater (top secret) role in ME 3 as all the others do (I don't believe it if I am honest)? Or will he have only a short cameo apprearing in the game (I hope not) and so he is not worth showing in a trailer or official picture in advance?:(

I was disappointed as well, but on the other hand, I feel like they are saving the best for last. We still haven't seen Jack yet either, I'm presumingly these two will probably be shown at least a few days before release? Hopefully anyways!

True but Garrus and Kaidan have appeared in other media. Bioware have yet to throw us Thane fans even a crumb. Makes me nervous that there's been no glimpse of him.

You are right, we haven't seen Jack in trailers or official pictures - but there were artworks released of her. More as we got of Thane until now.

I'm still optimistic that Thane will have a good role in ME3. As for the romance being concluded, I'm not sure. I really still hope for the option of a cure.
And to stay on course, this picture always makes me smile.

Ture
Thane is the only one we haven't seen or heard anything about. I'm starting to really worry about what that means.

Yeah, I'm worried too. Thane is now the only LI that has had absolutely nothing. I really enjoyed the femshep trailer and it was great to hear J Hale but I'm sad and uneasy that there was no Thane especially since there was a shot of Jacob!!! maybe they can't show him because in his cut scenes he's got a big scar across his chest where he had his lung transplant... I can hope.
