I asked for clarification but of course didn't get any.

They released the teaser for the "Take Earth Back" trailer, with the actual 90 second one releasing on Sunday I believe.  Perhaps we'll see Mr. Krios then???

Sorry to all those who haven't got the demo/Are still waiting Sorry to be off topic again but you guys seem really helpful and I kind of need a bit of help!
I'm trying to download the demo and so it asks me to sign up to the newsletter, when I try to it says "Unable to connect to the registration center". Does anyone else have this problem? Again sorry for being annoying but I've asked everywhere and nowhere else seems to have a response >.<

I'm positive Chris is referring to the game. I've played the demo several times. Thane is not in it.

Wow. I think you captured him beautifully. The emotion on his face is so vivid and his eyes are so expressive. I can't even draw stick figures, much less a character as complex as Thane. You did an amazing job, Nerana!

If Thane is sending his regards, that means he has the breath to do it! Also, bumping into him slightly implies that he is able to stand!

My god, I'm reaching. And I'm not flexible enough for a stretch like this. It could also mean he bumped into him in the intensive care unit at the hospital.

*sigh* Absolutely no new/uplifting information to be found here, we already knew he was in ME3. This information would have been a godsend over the summer when we were all worried they would kill him off in between ME2 and ME3, but not now...

Thanks! I was hoping there was emotion in the picture, as it was what I aimed for.

Do you guys think it matters if one does the dlcs before or after the suicide mission? I mean, if the save only counts up to the suicide mission infor ME3?

It should count, since several of them were released way after ME2 came out...


But yeah that Thane info can mean anything. But it's still good they're at least acting as if he exists at all now... >.>

I know exactly how you feel. It doesn't tell us much beyond what we already know. I'm just happy that at least one of the devs acknowledged him. Maybe all of our poking and prodding paid off? Maybe we'll even see a glimpse of him in the launch trailer? We can hope, right?

I might not even mind if he's in the hospital if it means he's recovering from his (successful) transplant operation and tells Shepard it has given him longer to live. All I know is that I can't take the wait much longer. I need to know what they've done with Thane's character. I feel like I'm on pins and needles.

'Course EvilChris did, we (I) threatened to burn his house down. And directly after, he still didn't give us what we want. Seems we have to up our game...

It should count, since several of them were released way after ME2 came out...

You can play any of the DLC at any time. I usually wait until after the Suicide Mission though, just personal preference.

Not sure. Are you on the PC? I heard from here that you need to install Origin to run the demo (as well as the game when released).  If that's not your problem, I suggest just looking through the PC technical support forum. You should find an answer there.

Me too. I've read all the spoilers concerning Thane but I won't talk about it here. Anyway, it was from the leaked script so things could have changed. We won't actually know anything for sure until the game is out.

Sorry for being MIA, I have been rather busy as of late. Played the ME3 demo however, and although there was no sign of Thane, I really enjoyed it, and it has me very excited for the game! I am still feeling optimistic about Thane though, I know hope is dwindling, but the fact that they have said practically nothing about him makes me think that they have something special planned for him.

I mean, if he was just going to have a small cameo and then die, then they probably would have released that information. All the other ME2 exclusive squaddies have had their mission descriptions released. Not Thane.

I just played the first mission in the demo, I'm going to leave the rest until the 9th. My boyfriend has battlefield 3 and we have 2 xboxes so I've been playing the multiplayer with him this evening ... the romance!!. I'm playing female vanguard, drell is locked

The Mass Effect 2 facebook page was asking fans who there mass effect valentine was and although the majority favoured the female LIs amongst the male LIs Thane seemed to be holding his own nicely against Kaidan and Garrus, poor Jacob was really nowhere to be seen.
