Glad to see you're doing well!

I have the demo loaded and ready to go - just waiting for the kidlets to go to bed so me and hubby can play!

I posted on that ME2 FB page and totally picked Thane!

I'm still optimistic as well, but if it doesn't work out, I'll have the pitchforks, blindfolds and kindling ready!

I don't think they will be killing off any of the LI's. Thane included. Do you know how mad the fan girls would be?

I really hope so Tasha, I really hope so.  But judging by the way BioWare manipulated my feelings on the demo alone... well at this stage I wouldn't put it past them to do a George R.R. Martin on some of the characters

But there's not enough of us.

If they killed off Liara or Tali or god forbid, Miranda, the very end of the world would come directly on its heels. They would never do that.

But screwing with Jacob? Or Samara? Thane already has a mark against him due to his illness, and the more vocal members on this forum are screaming that they want him to die for the sake of drama, 'cause it would ruin everything about him otherwise, and characters with smaller fanbases are easier to ignore.  lydlyd

Played the ME3 demo, and did the multiplayer with a friend. Absolutely loving it!

I know we haven't heard much from Thane, but I am still uber excited for the game! It looks epic!

Yeah that's true, but thevve been known to torture the fans before thats the only part that worries me.

I think Thane dying for the sake of adding drama would be pushing it. The Hanar were already working on a cure long before we were introduced to the Drell. A cure being made isn't that far fetched, not to mentioned the transplate mentioned in LTSB. Thane not dying would not ruin his character, at all. Some people just like to over-dramatize it.

I love Thane to death, but I'm REALLY hoping we see more than 3 drell in ME3 XD. Not that they weren't all awesome.

I'm just happy that Chris is acknowledging his existence, somewhat. Besides, we couldn't have expected him to actually say something. His tag is BioEvilChris, after all. Emphasis on the evil.

I'm still downloading the demo. Have been all morning. I have completely wiped out my peak and off peak data limit, my excess usage, and I just bought another 5GB peak data. So I'm going to have a HUGE internet bill this month. So if I'm quiet between now and the 27th, that's why.<_<

Totally worth it though.

Oh, and I'm downloading in via PC, because my internet speed slows to a snails crawl the instant I hook it up to the PS3. So Friera and Purple, that's why I haven't sent a friend requests yet. I'll do it tonight/tomorrow. Promise.

I'm still hopeful for Thane's role in ME3 too. The silence from BioWare (besides the mention of bumping into Thane, so cool) doesn't worry me at all. It's not surprising that they want to keep plot spoilers a secret, especially after all the complaints about spoilers in ME2 advertising.

This is great news! I had trouble reading the dialogue wheel at times too. It's hard enough to navigate Jacob's conversations without FemShep auto-flirting; the added problem of not being able to read my choices didn't help.

So what color is the writing now?

Just finished up the demo.  Can't do multiplayer until the 17th
However, it was good, and I'm hopeful for the rest of the story!

Does everyones Shepard look about the same in ME3 or different?
 
Mine looks a bit different, but I like it. I really do like the hair in ME3.

My best one looks a bit older but thats good, and the hair is fun, some I don't like but meh, I'll get used to them.

So far two of my shepards look a bit different, but they don't look bad. I'm going to have to get use to the makeup though. There is like 3 or 4 hairstyles I don't really care for but I like most of them.

I'm guessing that the first two Shepards I play (one FemShep and one MaleShep) will look nearly identical when imported into ME3. The hairstyle I use on that FemShep only has subtle changes, and the MaleShep's hairstyle is the same. If anything changes, it'll be that their eyes look brighter, and that's great.

Natalie's going to look different when I get around to her playthrough, but that's because she's the type of character who would change up her look every now and then.

Just finished the solo demo... Wasn't there supposed to be like a Mars mission or something? I thought I read that in GameInformer.
Oh well, it was really good. I have to get used to the controls though

It's still different from Paragon blue though, right? If not, that could get confusing.

Yeah, there's a mission on Mars. I read about it in Game Informer too. I'm not sure which missions you guys played in the demo, but sometimes demos can skip stuff - play out the beginning, and then jump ahead.

Well, I did read that they were making some changes to the way Paragon/Renegade persuades worked... I didn't think they'd do away with them, but we'll see what happens. I'd be happy if Paragon/Renegade scores didn't effect the persuades anymore. It just makes me have to work harder to play a Paragade or Renegon. xD

@everyone playing the demo: I thought there was no direct import function for the demo? Did you guys find a way to put in the facecodes or something?
